There are 2 things to do before you start the video.
1- Download the black and white and color reference photos I use within the video here (drive.google.c....
I keep the color reference photo on my laptop close by while painting and I print out the black and white copy and tape it on my easel. I break it down into 4 quadrants and use it for my initial drawing as well as for determining values. I will review this technique in the video.
2 - Review your supplies
Here are the supplies I will be using:
a larger and smaller bright (or flat) brush ( like 1" and 1/2" wide)
8" x 8" gallery wrapped canvas
GOLDEN fluid acrylics in the following colors:
Napthol Red
Phthalo Blue or Manganese Blue
Hansa Yellow
Indian Yellow
Phthalo Green
Quinacridone Magenta
White
Many people like to know what I'll be using but feel free to use whatever supplies you have.
You are ready to begin!

I just want to know how to you think about colors, since it looked different a lot with the original pictures
Hey Serena. I think about value more than color. I think if you have the correct value in a shape, you can alter/adjust the color and it will still read correctly. Did you paint the pears?
