Thanks so much, brilliant. Had springs and shocks replaced two years ago and only done 1,000miles. Knocking over bumps, definitely that is the problem. All the best, Tony
Thanks for this video/ I bought the anti roll bar refurbish kit with 2 drop arms and roll bar bushes IF needed. got lots of other new bits like EGR delete, new filters / turbo breather/air filter/ engine breather to do in a few days when I feel like it/ aged 72 I`m never in a rush but always look for help videos first - thank you
Fantastic video, very clear and really helpful. My Landrover 2 has this knocking sound, after replacing front nr side strut and shockorbsorber. My garage have been baffled and waiting for some info from Land Rover. I wonder if the knocking sound is the Anti Roll Bar - drop link. I'll mention it tomorrow when collecting the vehicle, complete with knocking noise lol
@@lifes.projects it has been done, now working no behind door class and sunroof, also some noise issue at rear differential when car at 1 or 2nd gear ,
@@HARDEEPJADEJA if the rear diff noise is a thud / bang it will be the forward diff mount. Grab the propshaft and see if there is excessive up and down movement.
@@HARDEEPJADEJA not the shaft I mean the rubber mounting that holds the diff in the subframe. The front mounts wear out and cause a knock/thud when changing gear.
If you have some vice grips or mole grips you can hol the thread while its spinning. Failing that cut them off but try not to damage the shocker or anti roll bar.

Great video, had them changed only 2 years ago so would never have gone to them but looks like that’s my issue too. 👍🏻
Thanks, best description on tube 👍

Hii, I am watching your videos as I have came across a 2001 59km driven lr freelander, 1.8ltr petrol.
They are good 3ngines but are common for headgasket failure so make sure that has been done

@@lifes.projects I have checked that when I replaced tyres, there is very minimal momentum in shaft .

Brilliant great video, well done.
Thanks Robin 👍
Thanks for this video.

Your welcome
Hi Tom, Have you seen how it handles with no ARB on the front? Just a thought?
No never tried it. Dont think it would be good as the suspension is quite soft. It would probably lean like the classic Range Rover 🤣
nice thanks....how much is good used freelander 1 diesel
For a good one they can vary from £1200 to £3000
I cant seem to get mine off - any advice?
