MayMay Made it Crafts also carries it, normally seems to prefer the Art Glitter Glue, but it won't ship if it might freeze. The glitter one. Is this glue water soluble? Like Elmer's? The water based, and water soluble glues do tend to warp the papers. But they dry hard, not always desirable
@@recoveringsoul755 I want you to know it does not warp paper. I also want you to know In This Video She Is Using More Than You Actually Need. You only need dots of the glue not a line like she has used. Bearly Art has their own videos. I love this glue it will even glue leather.
I love the bearly art glue. I just keep the pin in the precision tip and have no issues. Plus this glue is made in the USA and lasts a loooong time. Has a very fast drying time too! This is my go to glue for all my paper crafts. I use the generic Amazon Elmer's glue for covering large projects like when I cover the card board storage boxes with repurposed book pages. But I also like gorilla wood glue for paper projects. Draw back with it is that it's super thick and hard to get out of the bottle.

The Bearly Art glue is pricey, but I only use it when I need a precision glue. I use other glue for general gluing. I’m a card maker and go through quite a bit. I use more Tacky glue than anything else. It’s cheap, it dries fast, and has minimal warping.
Great, UNBIASED, review! Thank you! I haven't tried the Bearly Art or the Art Glitter Glue, but I have to confess I've had them in my cart for quite some time. The price for both is exactly the same, right now at least. The 4 oz. bottle with the tip, for both brands, is $14.99. But the cost for that size bottle is more because the tips are included, but it does not change the fact that it's definitely expensive glue! LOL! Have you tried Tonic Studios Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive? It's really good, but also pricy. If you get your hands on some, I would really love to know what you think of it.
I got the Bearly Art and the precision tip clogged almost immediately. I guess I forgot to run the pin through it at some point. I just bought an empty precision tip bottle with a silicone cap, and I poured the glue in that. So, it cost me even more, but now I have a precision tip and this excellent glue.
If the tip gets clogged from letting it sit open let it harden cover the glue bottle with it's regular cap and take a pair of tweezers and remove the glue in the tip. I always cover my glue with the regular cover if I am not planning on using it again for a while(like 2 or 3 days) but I put the pin down the end of the precision tip when I am done with it but plan on using again in another project. I have left the pin pushed all the way down so it covers the end and It is never clogged YET. I am using it to glue leather right now. I love this glue. You only need a couple dots of it on craft paper to stick the parts together. In this video she is using way more than she really needs. That is 1 reason that the price seems high because most people will base how it should work by how other glues work. Other glues you have to cover the whole piece of papers edges to get them to stick. I made 42 Christmas Exploding boxes last year with this glue and had almost a 1/2 of the bottle left. It is November and I had to buy a new bottle after my husband left it sitting open last Spring. I use it to make cards and crafts for just about ever holiday and always make someone birthday or anniversary cards. I made glitter paper bats to hang in my trees and on my porch for Halloween they even stood up to the rain(North Tennessee) that we got. Glitter paper does not like to stick to other glitter but no problem with Bearly Art Glue.
I normally use Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. Like you, I kept seeing many crafters online using the Bearly Art Glue. So, I purchased a bottle with all the tips to try. I have to say I hate it!!! It's a much runnier glue and squishes out from behind my project pieces, even when using the fine-tip applicator. The glue becomes very shiny as it dries. So, mishaps become very noticeable.
I haven't tried it. That's also interesting that the Sizzix glue is not good and very wet, coming from a paper craft company that is a disappointment. My go to is/was the Scotch Create tacky glue. BEFORE they changed the tip. (insert eye roll) Yeah I could just decant it in into a precision needle bottle, but I have issues with keeping the tip clean. It is not cheaper than the Bearly Art glue, because they can run upwards of 5-7+ buckaroonies for a 2oz bottle. I also used to use Zip Dry by Beacon adhesives. But I couldn't use the whole bottle before it started getting super thick and it gets stringy. I think I have used the glitter art Glue, but it was years ago for their glitter. It was very high quality. I do remember they have glue that dries white and dries clear, depending on your glitter.as you know definitely not inexpensive.
Yes, I've run into that issue with some glues where they start off performing well but over time get really thick and difficult to apply. I ended up not being able to use the entire bottle.
It might just be me....but I don't really like it. Its too runny. There's barely any tack to hold things together compared to my other glues. Struggled with my layers and sticking gems. I'll keep trying though.
Thanks for the review. I'm looking for a quick dry precision glue to attach trim to fabric. Do you think Bearly would be good for that purpose? I make Christmas Ornaments.
Probably not, while it does work on fabric I don't know how strong the hold is permanently and it's a rather expensive option. There's got to be something cheaper out there.
Just received the Bearly Craft Glue and I'm using the Multi Medium Mat from Ranger, really nice, but also expensive, but this tip was AMAZING !!! And the supstance is just fluedly enough to be brilliant. AND THERE IS A STORAGE CAP FOR THE PRECISION TIP !! They sell it at SimonSaysStamp !!! Works like a charm ! Very happy with it, and right expensive, but I bought the extra refill too. As I'm already using a precision tip with that needle for ages, I don't think it will clott in time, as you say in the video. As I already am using this kind of tip with a simple sowing needle for a couple of years.
Another really well done review! I noticed that when you used the Elmer’s washable glue on the fabric, you also ironed the fabric. Is that something that you need to do with the Bearly glue as well if you use it on fabric?
Yes, I always quickly hit the Elmer's with a dry iron to speed up the drying of the glue. Bearly Art seemed to hold quicker, but it was a more "permanent" adhesive and was more difficult to pull the fabric apart. If you're just glue basting, use Elmer's, but if you want more of an actual glue to hold the project Bearly Arts did pretty well.

I love the Aileen tacky glue all you do is put it in another bottle and I get it at the dollar tree now

I agree it is expensive but it and the Art Glitter Glue are the best I have found for paper crafts.

It’s white glue. Not worth $14. My metal thin tip came out. Going back to Scotch Craft Glue
