Hi! I forgot to mention - i have tried MANY precision glue bottles in the past. Many! These two have worked best for me. Also, these bottles can be used with any liquid glue you prefer. just fill the empty bottles!
"I have GOT to get one of these!" - my husband heard me shout. He looked over, saw what it was, and said, "As many cards you make a week for charities, you should buy it. Don't wait like you always do until all of the sites are out of stock. Just buy it!" What a smart guy! I'm off to find a site that's selling it. I use both Tonic Nuvo as I get a full-size bottle every few months in my monthly Tonic Stamp and Dies membership kit and Beary Art glue. I'll happily use my 5onic glue and decant Beary glue into the spare bottle to switch them up.😊
Someone reviewed the glue press and said it was difficult to use with arthritis so I was a little leary of purchasing it. I received mine several days ago and am in love with it. It is so much easier to squeeze thank a regular bottle of glue. i have used both the regular tip and the fine tip bottles and have no difficulty with either one. I am so glad I went ahead and purchased it.
It’s nice to see that products are being made for older folks. I teach classes and the majority of my students are older. There’s a lot of grey heads around those crafting tables. Things like this make it so much easier for people who may have arthritis etc. great idea.
For my glue bottle topper, I combined both options (the rubber stopper and a pin). I top of the pin (the ball part) into the stopper piece that would normally fit over the nozzle of the glue bottle. So I now have a pin to put into the nozzle, but I don't lose it because it's always attached to the rubber stopper thing (I know, all these technical terms are impressive, aren't they 😂)
I have arthritis in my hands, and the the thicker glues I love I can now use by hardly squeezing handle at all - gloss accents come out of the fine tip like a dream and Simon says stamp craft tacky glue is amazing in this thing. Even my husband tried it and was impressed when he went from trying to squeeze the fine tip bottles I used for both of those to this one. And I left my bearly art glue unstopped for 4 days and never clogged or stopped working.
timing on this glue press is perfect for me as I have recently begun to have problems with strength in my hands so squeezing a bottle is getting difficult yet I still want to craft as it brings me joy
!!!! My older creaky hands are so excited i clicked thru and bought the glue press before i even finished the video... And as it happens, the Nuvo Deluxe is my favorite adhesive. i love it and it's super strong, but it is a bit thicker than other glues which makes it harder to squeeze. Especially with their new fine precision nozzles my hands would hurt by the end of the day (I make a lot of mini albums and 3D stuff that takes a lot of glue). Thanks so much as always for not only bringing us the latest and greatest but for showing us how to use it and the tips and tricks to get the most out of the items. You're really a godsend for the paper crafting world ❤
Really like that you show us options and what is new in the crafting world. I decorate eggs for a hobby as well as make cards. Just recently, someone called me ‘the paper queen’ as I use die cuts as decorative elements on the eggs. So many thanks to you and all the others who generously share ideas. BY THE WAY, have you and your children used die cuts to decorate glass Xmas balls! I use eggs but the possibilities are endless if the die cuts are the right size.
I used to use Gina K Connect. After I tried Nuvo Precision GLUE. I simply had to go to Amazon and find 4 Oz bottles with fine tips with stoppers. Looks just like Gina's bottles but holds more. Like I said I couldn't squeeze the bottles. I already had bones removed from my left hand. I won't do that again. Personally I think Nuvo glue is the best. I make cards and heavy stock boxes. I know you'll stay with your friend's brand. All good. I'm sure glad you showed me this. Now I don't have to empty my Nuvo glues.❤
This was a great video Jennifer 🎉, thanks so much for showing us the Gina K glue and precision bottles that I’ve seen you use heaps but also for showing us the Glue Press ! I didn’t even know that was available, so it’s fantastic to see it in action and hear your views on it. 😊 it was a really informative and well thought out video and so much appreciated, thanks again 😘
I have recently switched to an electric die cutting machine. I have always used a sizzix big shot but noticed that the last time i cut a load of intricate wedding invitations my wrist and shoulder were so sore. I bought the gemini jr because you were using it. ( I then bought a sizzix switch as a back up.) I will buy this glue press. I have seen a lot of reviews and I trust My Sweet Petunia products. I have a watched a review where the person used all kinds of products in the glue press.
I rarely have clogging issues. I use a Oui jar with a damp paper towel in the bottom. I just keep my glue bottle upside down in it while using it. When I am finished using it, i clean the tip, tap it on the table to expel the little glue blob and replace the tip. Every month or so i remove the top of the glue and clean it under hot water. No problems. I am so sorry that so many of you have so many physical issues. I guess i am very lucky to be in my 70’s and not to have any issues. 🙏🙏🙏 for all of you.
you just need to put a sewing pin (the one with a plastic ball at the end) inside the tiny bottle and it will unclug it. it is what we used to use for years in the crafting world and it is perfect and cost effective as you prolly have sucha pin at home anyway...
I love using Reptile craft glue. Its strong, not too thick so it squeezes easily, and I've found it less expensive than Gina K or Bearly Art. I keep it in a precision bottle, upside down, with the rubber stopper. I have a silicone sucker-bottomed thing from Dollar Tree that's meant to hold nail polish, I think. I suction that to my desk with a plastic shot glass in it. I don't lose my glue, never have to shake it down, and the tip doesn't clog. I love this system. That said, I'm still considering the glue press for when i have tons of gluing to do, such as for Christmas cards or wedding invitations. Thanks, Jennifer.
Hand/wrist issues can definitely make card making difficult, so I’m glad that the glue press may be a viable alternative for those who have trouble squeezing a bottle. My personal preference is glue that already comes in a bottle with an ultrafine tip applicator (or that has an ultrafine tip that I can easily screw onto the original bottle) so I don’t have to transfer glue from one bottle to another. Im too messy for that!!😂 It’s great that we have several quality glues and applicators to choose from to meet each of our needs/preferences.
Thank you Jennifer for this great review! I am SO glad that you mentioned about the longer red handle. I need to lay my arm/wrist on my desk to have better control of my glue bottle, so for me I will stick with my little gina k bottle, but for others it may be an awesome option!
Thank you so much for the info, I’ve never tried Gina K glue. Might have to give it a try for sure. I’ve been using the a different glue but I’m always willing to try something different. The glue press looks like a great option for people with hand issues, cause sometimes the bottles can be tricky to squeeze. Love all your videos and especially your honest non bias reviews on products. ❤
Perfect timing. I have been using the Gina K connect but when my arthritis flares in my thumbs I was jus saying I wish there was a tool to help when I can't squeeze the glue bottles. I will have to give this a try.
I will say, after seeing the glue press on your desk with “Gina ❤️” on it, I just had to try it! Lol after all, it had my name on it 😊 I absolutely love the Bearly art glue. I have arthritis, and I’m hoping that perhaps the hand pump will make it easier for me to use. Thanks so much for sharing your crafty advise with us. You’re the best! ❤
So I’m not the only one that has trouble with that little stopper! Lol. And because of that, I keep losing it. Those things go walkabout constantly on my desk! Thanks for the tips!
I used Gina K for years until I got some (from 2 different sources) that was so thin that it ran out of the bottle just by turning it upside down, so I started looking for options. Tried the Nuvo and it's been my go to since. The pin in the cap works great for no clogging and bonus, my 75 year old hands find the shape of the bottle easier to use than regular round ones.
My personal favorite glue is Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. I have two bottles on my desk at all times: one with the regular tip and one with the precision nozzle. I've tried most major brands, including the Gina K fine tip bottles, and, for me, Nuvo is the only glue where I never encounter clogged tips. I live in the South, where it's humid most of the year. I find bottles with longer nozzles or that use a pin get clogged between uses and take precious crafting time to clean before use.
I've been using Gina K's little bottles ever since they were introduced and love them & Connect Glue, which I use exclusively. My biggest problem is arthritis in my thumbs, so squeezing is becoming painful. I may have to try the newest invention by My Sweet Petunia, and if it's anything like their Misti invention, it will be game changing! Oh, the little plastic stopper on Gina's little bottles - I just tuck it under my finger when I'm using it so it's never in the way and never lost in the mess on my workspace!
Jennifer--I have watched your videos for years, and you have never steered me wrong. If you did earn money on the things you showcase, well that is part of your job. I wish people would learn that. Plus what is wrong with you being friends with Gina or others that you showcase. One of my favorite videos is where you told the story about your husband being on the design team for press and seal. Please keep doing the videos just the way you have been, and do not worry about the naysayers. I remember when I was haveing a problem with one of my card projects a few years ago my husband said go watch Jennifer McGuire she will know the answer. You have no idea how shocked I was because my husband never even touched my iPad, but he must’ve been listening while I was watching your videos.
Hi Jennifer. Thank you for this review of the glue press. I have now seen this product 3 times and am wondering if I need it. I do love Nuvo Deluxe adhesive in its original bottle. It is my main glue. It hardly ever clogs. I also love Art Glitter glue. But it has clogging issues. I could put it in the spare bottle. I have a tiny desk, so space is an issue. But so is arthritis. LOL. I may just have to get this glue press. Again, thanks for your great review..
I love the look of this and am really interested in buying it but could you please tell me if it still works OK when the glue is getting low in the bottle? Thank you so much. xxx💖💖💖
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for your vedios! I am a big fan of all your vedios. I do have a question about the glue press. Can the glue press stand be used without the press part? I would love if I could just stand my glue on that silicon stopper while using. ❤ Ayona ,
I would be curious to see how you like the Tonic glue. It is my favorite. I have been using it since it first came out. Thank you for this video. I did order the new dispenser. I have issues with my right hand and I think this will help. I have to craft on my lap so I have a problem misplacing the lid. Thankfully it is fairly large. This product should take care of that also. Lol.
I don’t know if it was said but the real silver coated or silver pins are the best to cap glues and other small tips you want to keep unclogged. You have to look at fabric stores or like Joann’s. If you use a silver colored pin you will begin to get rust. Yes stainless pins were mentioned .
I love my glue press. I will continue to use it with my regular crafting glue. This is not a complaint just a warning. I had a big project that required 3in1 glue in a fine tip bottle. Ive done this before and it is tiring for my hands so I filled up the second bottle with the larger tip and got to work. I just filled the bottle part way to see if it worked and it seemed great but I ended up with glue everywhere! The bottle I had just refilled split open! I now have a ruined project, ruined pants and I’m recovering from a major glue headache. I think I have been able to save the glue press which I do like! It now says on the site not to use 3 in 1or another acetone based glue and when I contacted Sweet Petunia that was the first thing they asked. But how are we to know this when it isn’t on the box and no one mentions it!
You have the best videos by far and I always appreciate them. Just placed an order. I love Gina Connect Glue and the precision bottles. Btw what color is your nail polish? It's gorgeous and perfect for fall! Thanks!
Oh how awesome is that!! Thank you Jennifer - I always love hearing about and seeing new tools to help make our cardmaking joy even better! ♥️👏🏻♥️ Praying your shoulder improves soon! 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
I put the ring bit around the base of the bottle and it stays out of the way when using and I don’t lose it. I tap bottle on the desk before putting cap on
not out of favor! i used it for years. it is a great product. I just switched to connect long ago when they came out with the first small bottle and have been hooked since. As i mentioned, there are lots of great glue options :)
@@sarakillian5494 I was just a bit curious so asked Jennifer, having followed her wonderful favorites series for many years. I use both, and Connect is a bit more flowy (made up word) so sometimes a little easier to deal with. And Ranger's Multi Medium Matte is amazing. 🏆
I am just wondering how long you can keep the glue in the holder, like if I am not going to use it for a couple days is it OK to sit in there without getting clogged?? I get so frustrated because my regular bottles clog all the time and it drives me nuts when I go to use it days later and it won't come out.
I’ve enjoyed having my precision glue press right from the start. My arthritic hands can manage this way better. I had really hoped I’d be able to purchase the red silicone seal separately since I’ve accidentally lost my cushioned seat. Unfortunately, Iliana says “I do not sell any spare parts for the glue press.” 😢
I love Nuvo Deluxe glue-just enough wiggle time without having to wait ‘forever’. It doesn’t show thru my paper, either. I don’t have difficulty making precise dots of glue with the regular tip. I have tried the little bottles but have had multiple mishaps-glueing the cap to the top and pulling the whole thing out trying to remove it, losing the cap when the connector broke, replacing the cap with a supposedly stainless steel pin that wasn’t, etc. Arthritis in my hands is making it difficult to squeeze the Nuvo bottle when it gets to the halfway point or lower. I would like to get the glue press but I would really like to know how well the press works to get the last of the glue out of the bottle. I need someone who gets to the end of the bottle of glue to say, “Yes, I can get the last little bit of glue out, or No, the press is no better than trying to get the last bit out by squeezing the bottle by hand.” Thank for the video.
And that glue system is cheaper than I expected. I may have to try that one! Is it only available at my sweet petunia. And did you have any of your arthritic friends test drive it yet? I have arthritis in my hands and esp my thumb…
I love when you bring new items and always show how they work. I Think this is a cool item but not sure It’s for me. I do have a question. Does this tool squeeze all the glue out of the bottle?
I asked this question on a couple of other videos: I recently purchased the Precision Glue Press, and it worked great with the new glue bottle. But, now that the bottle is a little less than halfway, the glue won't squeeze out unless I take it out of the holder and SHAKE the glue to the nozzle, and squeeze it by hand. Anyone else have this problem?? Very disappointing because when the bottle of glue was new, this was PERFECT when squeezing out the glue. Thanks !!
I’m having problems with my hands squeezing the bigger bottle of Gina k - to put into the small precision bottle. Can I use the new gun to squeeze and fill up the smaller bottle ?
I don't see you use it in any of your videos since this review, something changed? I've seen always the small bottle with the fine tip ( which is my favourite and doesn't break the bank). Please can you do a follow up? Thank you
@jennifermcguierink I love the connect as well it’s my favourite. With the fine tip bottle I put the cap ring on the bottom of the bottle it keeps it out of the way and reaches up to the top to put back on each time.
Question: Does the stopper keep it from clogging from day to day, or just during a crafty session? I live in a very dry climate so my glues seem to clog easily no matter what. This applicator intrigues me because I have arthritis issues.
The price of the Gina K glue is ridiculous. The nozzle is the key. Those fine tip bottles are available in the model section of hobby and craft stores and will take just about any glue. I get good results (not making the paper wavy) with elmers in a model glue bottle.
I don't like using liquid glue because it's hard for my arthritic hands to squeeze. because I get glue all over my fingers most of the time and because of the constant clogs. I'm ordering this hoping it will help me stop disliking liquid glue!
Unfortunately the metal tips get stuck and comes apart from the lid. It's happened to BOTH my tips. So that's very frustrating. Otherwise I love the idea of the gun.
You need to get all the glue out of the tip and back in the bottle before replacing the caps. Hold glue upright and squeeze the shoulders and tap against desk a few times. This moves the air in the bottle and allows the glue to slide back in.
What a coincidence, I was literally looking at precision applicatiors this morning and this pops up 😄 Im not too sure about this one as like you said you can't steady your hand, and its slightly too bulky imo. I am using a glue dispenser called babebot which is amazing, but unfortunately it's not a precision applicator so I want an applicator that dispenses from ultra fine tips. Been using the quilling bottle for years but I hate the rubber band thing.
bearly arts is a GREAT glue. i have used it a lot! I just prefer the small mini bottle better.... or the glue press for not needing a a lid. if you are happy with what you have, stick with it! :)
Hi! I forgot to mention - i have tried MANY precision glue bottles in the past. Many! These two have worked best for me.
Also, these bottles can be used with any liquid glue you prefer. just fill the empty bottles!
Thank you Jennifer!
Where do find those little bottle with silicone cap?
"I have GOT to get one of these!" - my husband heard me shout. He looked over, saw what it was, and said, "As many cards you make a week for charities, you should buy it. Don't wait like you always do until all of the sites are out of stock. Just buy it!"

Thanks for this demo Jennifer. I love the Gina K fine tip bottles and her glue. They are awesome. The glue press is pretty cool tool.
Thank you for this video! Without your demo, I wouldn't have looked twice at the Glue Press. It could be very helpful in Christmas card production ❤
Love the idea of getting ink to flow nice and thinly. Love the idea of no blockage either. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for always introducing new products honestly.

Wow. Pink Petunia once again delivering an amazing product.
Thanks for the information and demonstration...but
$35. + shipping, I think I'll stick to my refillable fine tip bottle.😊
totally understand that! one of the reasons i shared and like both. :)
Same here!
just une a sawing pin to unclug the bottles; works magic and it is basically free ;)

Jennifer, I'm loving your nail color in this video! Would you share the color? 😊
thanks for the wonderful helpful video 😊❤ and your nails look awesome 💅🏼
WOW awesome that's a game changer! it is so frustrating .thanks so much
You have the best videos by far and I always appreciate them.
Praying your shoulder improves soon! 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
I'm waiting to be notified that it's back in stock. Won't be so hard on my hand to use the glue press.
I put the ring bit around the base of the bottle and it stays out of the way when using and I don’t lose it. I tap bottle on the desk before putting cap on
Hi from Scotland 😊
Thank you for showing this.❤
Thanks! Curious why Ranger’s Multi Medium Matte went out of favor. I love it, though with a different non-clog tip.
not out of favor! i used it for years. it is a great product. I just switched to connect long ago when they came out with the first small bottle and have been hooked since. As i mentioned, there are lots of great glue options :)
I think we all choose what works best for us. Yes, lots of great options out there. Thanks for the review
@@sarakillian5494 I was just a bit curious so asked Jennifer, having followed her wonderful favorites series for many years. I use both, and Connect is a bit more flowy (made up word) so sometimes a little easier to deal with. And Ranger's Multi Medium Matte is amazing. 🏆
I stopped using it because it's so thick, and very hard to squeeze or to put into another bottle.
Great video and demonstration.
Thanks so much! So helpful.
Hi, thank you, great video. I have a question, what glue is best for glitter paper?
Liquid glue works well. Just put an acrylic block or something on it to make sure it has good contact when drying
Also, thank you for the link for the pins as I keep getting the wrong thing and they rust. 🙂
Please read the reviews in the link provided. People say these pins rust. 😞
I am just wondering how long you can keep the glue in the holder, like if I am not going to use it for a couple days is it OK to sit in there without getting clogged?? I get so frustrated because my regular bottles clog all the time and it drives me nuts when I go to use it days later and it won't come out.
I put the lid on and I haven't had any trouble.
Thank you for the good advice, but how do you keep the glue from warping your card stock?
use less. you only need a thin line and not much of it!
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you for the good advice. 🥰❤️
I would want to buy extra toppers and extra bottles.
Thank you for this! Great video as always and a new product for my wish list!😂
What electric die cutting machine do you use? Thinking of buying one to not have to do so much cranking.
Anna Griffin Empress machine
And that glue system is cheaper than I expected. I may have to try that one! Is it only available at my sweet petunia. And did you have any of your arthritic friends test drive it yet? I have arthritis in my hands and esp my thumb…
I did not but perhaps one of my viewers with arthritic hands who has tried it can weigh in
I love when you bring new items and always show how they work. I
Think this is a cool item but not sure It’s for me. I do have a question. Does this tool squeeze all the glue out of the bottle?
i refill before it gets close to empty. so not sure.
You should be able to do that.
@@jennifermcguireink thank you lady
I don't see you use it in any of your videos since this review, something changed? I've seen always the small bottle with the fine tip ( which is my favourite and doesn't break the bank). Please can you do a follow up? Thank you
@jennifermcguierink I love the connect as well it’s my favourite. With the fine tip bottle I put the cap ring on the bottom of the bottle it keeps it out of the way and reaches up to the top to put back on each time.
Yhank you for your review.
Question: Does the stopper keep it from clogging from day to day, or just during a crafty session? I live in a very dry climate so my glues seem to clog easily no matter what. This applicator intrigues me because I have arthritis issues.
well, i went on vacation for two weeks and came home and neither the glue press nor gina fine tip were clogged. not sure about dry climates
@@jennifermcguireink that is very helpful. Thank you so much!
Thank you for the Video 👍🥰
Is the handle easy to squeeze? I have low hand strength. Thanks.
I find it easy to squeeze but I don't have difficulty with hand strength
Does it still work just as well if the glue bottle is half empty? Or do you have to keep a full bottle of glue? Thank you.
Yes it does in my experience
This looks amazing!!
So tell us Jennifer, do you like Gina K Connect glue?
Love it!
So you can only use that jar and not a round one?
they say you can use a round bottle like the large gina connect, but this fits, so i just use this bottle
Does GinaK Connect glue make ripples on copy paper?
not sure... haven't tried. but if you ever get ripples with cardstokc, i recommend using less glue.
Solvent based glues do not ripple or buckle. In the UK we have one called Collall. Keeps cards completely straight.
Do you think the Precision glue press is easy to press, because I have arthritis in my hands?
I found it easy to press. Perhaps if one of my viewers who has arthritis who has tried it can weigh in
The price of the Gina K glue is ridiculous. The nozzle is the key. Those fine tip bottles are available in the model section of hobby and craft stores and will take just about any glue. I get good results (not making the paper wavy) with elmers in a model glue bottle.
glad you found something that works for you.
I've tried the little bottle with the cap but the glue still gets clogged and doesn't come out.
hmmmm with which glue? also, do you put the cap on right away after using?
Hey Jennifer! Hey all! 👋🏻
Thanks for all the great information ❤️❤️❤️
I need that paper weight is it sold from any of the designers

Got a beautiful aqua mosaic square heavy weight tile from Dollar Store!
I don't like using liquid glue because it's hard for my arthritic hands to squeeze. because I get glue all over my fingers most of the time and because of the constant clogs. I'm ordering this hoping it will help me stop disliking liquid glue!
Thank you for the video!
Thank you!
Awesome share 🤗💕
I wonder how it works as the bottle gets almost empty.
