    I'm almost 50 years old, I will never be a Jay Cutler, but then neither will 99.999999999% of any body else. I would like to thank Jay because nobody puts out videos and is does stuff for his fans like Jay. Most of the time the best time of my day is when I'm actually working out and every time I watch one of his videos I get a different exercise or new idea to try. For those who don't like Jay or what he stands for, don't watch. For me he is inspiration that was never there when I was younger.

    i understand if he has technique issues, the man probably can't touch his shoulder with the same side hand. but the man knows how to train and diet his body, thats why he has won multiple competitions.

    @sellyintegra yes i know what you mean about the pump. i usually do biceps first and the pump goes away durin triceps. it's always good to try something new, i wouldnt do that high of volume every week, but i would try it once maybe every other month. our body reacts good to different things weight-lifting wise.

    Yep... because thats the simple answer to bodybuilding. You need to stretch and contract the target muscle with a certain resistance. Some people forget that and start thinking bodybuilding is about lifting weights.

    i'm about to go try this workout.

  • @-Zer0Dark-
    @-Zer0Dark- 12 років тому

    It all has to do with how focused the resistence is on your triceps. Additionally, keeping your elbows in or flaring them out will place that focus on a different head of the triceps.
    One also has to consider the fact that with his muscle mass, it's probably difficult to keep his elbows close to his body.
    Ultimately for you, though, you want to try to keep your elbows as close as you can, but even if they flare out; you're still working them. I flare out a bit and my tri's are doing just fine.

    Disregarding the implication that body building with steroids doesn't involve hard work, I was with you until the "average joe" comment. I can't think of a single major professional sport where talent doesn't play a huge role in dictating who fans want to see. Whether it be height in basketball (yes height can be considered a talent), muscle insertion location for arms strength, or naturally occurring high levels of testosterone, fans want to see athletes do things that the "average joe" cannot.

    Its an opinion. Substances have helped get him where he is today. Just because hes huge doesn't mean he can't use correct form. No im not mr. Olympia. But they all stress how important form is when some of them don't do it. That is all.

    do you think jay does like a 10 min cardio warm up before training ?

  • @noobhealz402
    @noobhealz402 12 років тому

    @farokutee Well you shouldn't try and swing, it breaks form, but swinging is acceptable when you're late into your workout and your muscles are tired, its called a cheat lift, but it's useful for getting those last 2-3 reps out...
    I do cheat lifts when im doing standing barbell curls not to get he weight up, but to do 2-3 more negatives cuz it's already been proven that muscles tear more on negatives rather than going up.

    and without pounds of daily clean food, good rest, hgh, cycles consisting of multiple steroids. bbers in the 70 and 80s had just steroids. growth wasnt available until 90s. thats why bbers today are so much bigger. Just watch dorian yates interview about steroids:) hes one of the best bbers ever. I still have much respect for these guys regardless of steroid use. Takes insane discipline to get to their level.

    Don't misunderstand; I watch both and respect both for what they do. my only problem was in your inherent assumption in the first statement you posted; if i took all the drugs jay takes, i can guarantee you hands down i would be "at least half as big as jay" regardless of how I train. There is a reason people who have AIDS take gear and gain muscle despite having no actual training program. There is a reason growth hormone is administered to cows.

    @steriods4champions It was a great fuckin workout! I actually did 4 sets per exercise. all 12-15 reps except for standing db curls. my only negative feedback would be i usually super set one tri excercise with one bi, or even one bi set with one tri, that way my pump stays in both muscles when i'm done. when i do all tris first, then all bis, the tri isnt as pumped up as it coulda been you feel me? all in all it was something new and great pump, took me about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
