Nintendo said no hardware and only games releasing this year for the June direct. Now maybe fiscal year, but second half of this year was the statement. I just hope it’s on the 11th. There will be many games still to come for Switch before the next console.
I’m really hoping for a top down Zelda game and potentially the Zelda ports of Windwaker and TP HD. I know a lot of people have given up on these but Zelda is my favorite series so I never really totally give up on Zelda games 😂. My wild take would be I’d like to see them add Smash Bros Melee with rollback netcode and more support for Melee but I don’t think that would happen I just like Melee lol.
I think we'll get more remasters, remakes & enhanced ports. I agree that it's a bit too late for WW/TP HD Switch ports, but they're likely looking for low effort titles to pad their release lineup until Switch 2. You could also look at Xenoblade X or other GC remasters like Metroid Prime 2 & 3, but I don't expect any major new release. Maybe a new Mario Party or Mario sports game, or a 3rd party Dynasty Warriors x 1st party collab again.
I could see Nintendo do this at there next Nintendo Direct. 20 farm sim games and the big November release is Paper Mario Sticker Star and nothing else. Hope that doesn't happen but knowing Nintendo I could see them doing that.
Thanks for reading my comment! I put Pushmo and Planet Robobot bc they’re some of my favorite games from the 3ds era. You do have a point though, I can see a new Pushmo being saved as the Snipperclips of Switch 2
Nintendo seemed to have been hinting at a new Ice Climber game throughout Smash Ultimate, hints seem to lead towards HAL Laboratory making the new Ice Climber, probably coming January 30, 2025, on the 40th anniversary of Ice Climber Famicom and Vs. Ice Climber in North America. (Nintendo seems to love releasing first-party physical titles on a Thursday lately.
I mean, I know the way you was a very different situation, and the switch has seen a lot more success so they could try to continue to support it into the next gen. However, I remember the Wii U’s final year having a lot in the first half, even having multiple releases in the same month/ even day. Then, there was nothing after they announced the switch except for BotW. Like, no big winter games or anything. I don’t think a stacked first half of the year is enough to discount the idea of a slower end of year.
One thing I didn't mention is a mario and Luigi RPG, perhaps a collection of all of them, and I do enjoy the mario and sonic Olympic games, their fun to play
I could definitely see Mario and Luigi collection coming sometime, it might be a little too soon tho since we just got Mario RPG and TTYD but you never know
The third Dillon game is purely button-controlled. Plus it's like, a full game, not just a light experience like the first two. Deadheat Breakers, man. I'm telling ya, you're missing out!
i think there was a recent trademark file for Kirby & the Rainbow Curse, the Wii U game.. wonder how that would work on Switch if it comes over, just touchscreen controls.. i never played it...
I think it makes more sense from a business standpoint to delay Metroid Prime 4 to a Switch 2 exclusive, right? Make it revolutionary and try to bring in new people with it. They don’t want another Wii/Wii U confusion on their hands, so I feel like they’re going to do everything they can to differentiate the new switch.😗
My predictions: 1. Epic Mickey: Rebrushed trailer with official release date! 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 3. Super Mario Maker 3 4. New Mario Party game announcement 5. Little Nightmares 3 6. Yooka-Replayee with a release date
Personally I don’t expect Prime 2&3. Prime 1 served to give the dev team a chance to learn what they wanted to do for 4, while also giving Switch owners a taste of the series. 2&3 likely wouldn’t have as much work put into their visuals, which would be bad PR next to the stunning look of Prime 1. Also, if they’re looking to sell Prime 4, the last thing they want is to cram 3 previous entries down people’s throats so soon before the release, causing burnout and letting the audience have their fill. Think about it, people. Maybe Nintendo will still do it anyway, but I don’t think it’d be a good idea.
Off the top of my head... Metriod prime 4 this holiday season Animal crossing new horizins DLC NSO GameCube/DS and possibly Dreamcast added Xenoblade chronicles X Starfox Zero remastered Super mario galaxy 2 Kirby planet robobot HD Yoshis wooly world HD Captain toads treasure tracker 2 Donkey kong country returns AND a 3D Donkey Kong 64 rematered Kid Icarus uprising HD.
The Mario and Sonic Olympic games got stale after like the 2nd entry. The series just feels pretty lazy and we just keep getting the same sports over and over. I agree with you that they get played for like 2 days and then they get pretty boring.
The community participation is really cool!
Thanks for featuring my comment, dude! I totally forgot that Arcane is from League of Legends because I don't have Netflix anymore lol.

Yes Mario and sonic at the olympics is perfect for family and friends. It ranks very high among children.

I could definitely see a bluey racing game just cause bluey is so popular right now
I could see Prime 2&3, some NSO, and Hey Pikmin

Thanks for sharing my comments, Bo. I enjoyed your analysis.

Thanks for the upload.
StarFox Assult Remake
I still have my copy of The Last Story. That game was MASSIVE, put so much time into it and I don't think I ever actually beat the final boss
what time us the nin direct in mesa az?
Really hoping for a Windwaker port!
Just pull off the bandaid come out and say prime 4 has been cancelled so you can put people out of their misery.
Here’s the about Mario and sonic at the Olympic Games the Olympics pay saga to make that Game so we Get it
One thing I didn't mention is a mario and Luigi RPG, perhaps a collection of all of them, and I do enjoy the mario and sonic Olympic games, their fun to play

I'm very much hoping ilca does something in 2024 because im not interested in legends za at all.
Really appreciate the community participation

Deadheat Breakers, man. I'm telling ya, you're missing out!
That reminds me, I actually have that game physically. I should try to get around to it soon.
Still betting on Pokemon Warriors.
i think there was a recent trademark file for Kirby & the Rainbow Curse, the Wii U game.. wonder how that would work on Switch if it comes over, just touchscreen controls.. i never played it...
To me that seems extremely likely, it was a charming game but not many experienced due to it being on Wii U only. I'm sure it'd sell great on Switch.

Yooka replayee is wild ngl
@@BishyB Yeah looks very cool! I haven’t played much of Yooka-Layee in a while
It would be nice if we finally got Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood on Switch. Maybe even Lament of Innocence/Curse of Darkness?

@@ItApproaches I completely disagree. They could easily start Prime 4 with a cutscene that recaps the story. I stand by the rest of my points.
@@ItApproaches 😂😂😂 Thanks for your opinion.
hi BoTalksGames
Give me a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, & I'll be satisfied!
Anybody hyped for the Summer Game Fest? Xbox Direct? No? Okay
Not really. I mean I’m excited to see more Metaphor Refantazio and maybe Silksong at summer games fest but that’s about it.
I think it's too late to announce Mario & Sonic. If it were coming out, I think it would've been announced in the Partner Showcase at the latest.
the past few were announced in May/June
I want a Remaster of Viewtiful Joe,Metriod Prime 2 Remastered,Animal Crossing:New Leaf.
Who else wants a game that features the fan-favorite Geno as the protagonist?
Well, seems that I'm the only one who predicts an action-oriented game centered on Geno. I bet that he could deserve the same treatment as Snufkin.
Amda Remasted of Star Wars Rogue Squadrons games.
Off the top of my head...
Metriod prime 4 this holiday season

NSO GameCube/DS and possibly Dreamcast added

Starfox Zero remastered
Super mario galaxy 2
Kirby planet robobot HD
Yoshis wooly world HD
Captain toads treasure

Donkey kong country returns AND a 3D Donkey Kong 64 rematered
Kid Icarus uprising HD.

Jet force Gemini 2
There is literally no way we’re going to get a new 2D Zelda this late in the Switch’s lifecycle 😭😭
I think Luigi’s mansion 1 release would eat into LM 2 sales. They would release to close to each other.
I doubt it, since its a pretty short game compared to the sequels. Only taking 6 hours to beat.
Let’s be real does anyone even care about kid icrus or sonic vs Mario like fuck there dead for a reason
Nobody even played those games lol
