Ryan Martinie, Robert Trujillo, Evan Brewer, Jon Stockman and Amos Williams got me into Warwick. The rock bass stuff is great for the money and I would stick with this company for life if I had the money.
Likes Ryan Martinie and BTBAM? The man has great taste! And Ryan's tone on the Beginning of All Things to End is my personal favorite, and is why I bought a NT Thumb 5...
6 years too late on this, but Ryan Martinie...Ryknow, BR BR DENG, Ru-d....was not the bass player on The Beginning Of All Things To End (originally titled Kill I Oughta). That would be Shawn Barclay.
Not the case when Nick plays in a technical death metal/grindcore band with guitars tuned to B or drop A. For any sort of note definition in that, extremely hectic, setting you NEED the click. You're just not the target audience here.
You are probably right - but for the sake of demonstrating your equipment and abilities, I find it entirely useful to dial in your tone according to your surroundings.
I'd say it's more important to show off your personal tone when making an in depth video about why someone is associated with a brand, what he does and why he does it. But, hey, it's all personal preference. Personally I think it sounds absolutely amazing.
Much props Nick, nice sideburn, keepin em guessing
Ryan Martinie was also the reason why I got into Warwick basses. Well, Stuart Zender also.

Great sales pitch they got there, “had to sell my motorcycle and save up more money so I could buy one”
Hahhaa
Yes!! Ryan Martinie is a GOD on the bass and Warwick is just a perfect fit for him and Mudvayne!!!
Same happened to me!! I heard Mudvayne's album "L.D. 50" and the bass sounded so well and distinct.
Mudvayne influence is super apparent in your playing, so much so I was positive Ryan was Putin!
go figure, such a talented bassist was inspired by none other than Ryan (my inspiration too)
He fell in love with that BR BR DENG
Haha i didint know nick got his sound from mudvayne :D:D how did i miss this vid :O but yeah same here, i started bassplayin when i heard mudvayne :D
Why does he only have one side burn?
He sold the other one to buy the bass.
Some only need one.
He’s the Lance Armstrong of bassists.
Saw him yesterday with Havok at Hamburg before Megadeth and he was just awesome!
Who knew he’d grow up to be Vladimir Putin? 🤷♂️
Sounds just like my beginning- and my first bass was also a Fortress MM lol
Saw this guy with havok and he’s amazing.
yup Ryan brought me to this bass heaven called warwick as well..
NICK YOU ARE THE LUCKY MAN WHO HAD THE BUCKEYE WARWICK !! DAAMMNN IM SO JEALOUSE !!

This is the power of brbr-deng
The answer to that question is the same answer to every single question ever made: "Is fucking Nick Schendzielos"
he has my story, i started to play bass cause that mudvayne album,u copied me! lol
Marry me
Me too!
3:06 infinite regression?
{Amazing}
Uhhh I wasn't sure it was the bass but I was pretty sure it was the bass! Good one beavis!
Was the first riff he played a chopped "pulling teeth"?
I wish they'd dial some of the treble of... too much fret noise!

I hear you. It's just not my thing I guess.
I would attribute it to sloppy playing rather than anything else. Love Cephalic Carnage, but Nick doesn't seem to be the "demo" type of player.
Found this guy via Nuclear Power Trio
Beast
Sweet sideburn, brah.
But not the ONLY reason, right?
@Melvin Herrera 'Your mom her favourite passtime..?'
1:40 Goddamn that was tasty.
SUNEATER
Should tune the bass before playing. .. some of bass players do...
