I was in 20mph winds yesterday...no orange marker needed if you have an Ultrex with spot lock. I use a pole mount and it really allows you to fine tune the LS image and utilize spot lock. As for pole length, I use both a 10 and 7ft...this way I can fish on both sides of the pile while staying in the same spot.
The black nose is now called the” Magolia”. I fished lake Fork yesterday and the rain and lightening pushed me to another east Texas lake and I kept 10 fish over 14 inches, that all had the black dorsal stripe. I have added the split shot and it has made a diff.. even though l would rather use an 8 foot rod, I have gone to my trolling rods, some 14 for the trees that are 15 feet out.
Man what an awesome video, i just found your channel and had to subscribe, what are your settings on the livescope? I know you said you are using the app but my livescope doesn't look anywhere close, really cool vid, keep them coming!!

Looks like you guys had a blast that's what it's all about having fun.
How do you have your live scope mounted? Is trolling motor or pole mount better?
tm

Nice video! Ever come down to Barkley or KY Lake?
Scott Watson not yet. Only an hour away. Is that your lakes
@@3poundCrappiefishing Yes -- KY Lake. Out of Blood River, near Murray, KY.
You do a great video
The brush pile that you were fishing was it one of your pvc's or another kind curious to know what they are drawing to the most.
no not one of mine. Just natural piles on the lake
All ya need to know is where the brush pile is and just fish it. You don’t need this technology
I’m using mine for ice fishing but why are the fish clearer on your screen? Any ideas
I don't think I did anything special
What model Garmin is that?
