Thank you for sharing. Just tried my first live scope. I sold my motorcycle and bought myself a LVS 34 for my (retirement present to myself this yr, Nov 30). Installed it and a 93 sv UHD on my $150.00 1949 Starcraft 14’ I purchased and completely re-done. First time out yesterday with the live scope. I have to say I was really surprised and man what a good piece of equipment to have to find fish. Awesome unit and Awesome live scope. As you said it’s a learning process. However to just instal and go into the water it was not that hard to figure out. I have watched many videos and most of yours. I appreciate the all the help and great ideas. Thank you.

@@TurnerFishingg yes I agree. Getting into the Active Captain some as well. Gonna finish up the updates later this evening after it cools down some. Wow it is hot and very very humid here in Carter County, KY today. Be like this all week until this weekend. So good Lord willing gonna use it some more and try to educate myself little more. Calibrate the compass in the unit and so forth. Tweak my settings some more and of course watch several more UA-cam videos.

Tbh the calibration does nothing for me its wrong half the time haha. I haven't updated mine but I do have the 7 inch cheap one so I'm glad I get the return I get. I got to play on a 12 inch awhile back and you could tell where the mouth of the fish was. Gonna upgrade one day

What model fish finder is that. Looking for a set up like yours, but everything is so confusing. I just want a live scope fish finder. Thanks.

You are the first person to tell me that my stand alone, $3000 1022 LVS 34 bundle does not have sideview. Thank You. I am learning all I can and could not find it.

Why don’t you mount your transducer on your trolling motor?

@@TurnerFishingg yeah I'm having to hunt for them and without a fish finder it's been tough. Here in east TN its been pretty hot.

That sounds rough esp when you gotta move alot in the heat to limit out quick. I take breaks under bridges there's allwaus a few fish to try to catch under them

Does anyone know why Josh Jones switched over to lowrance from Garmin? clearly he could use either one he wanted and they would sponsor him as one of the greatest crappie fisherman out there just curious to know if anyone has an answer to this question. Thank you

You know I called a guide a couple yrs back. I was genuinely interested in a bull shoal fishing trip..He quoted me 500$ for a half a day. I flat out told him he was ludicrous. I would of gladly paid 250. I worked 23 yrs for 18.00 a hour. I realize there might be 25$ in gas and he has a boat payment and a tiny bit of insurance. But there was no way I'd pay this guy over a 100$ per hr.

He's up to 2000 a trip now and booked up . I'm in the wrong business haha
