- Israel is on “heightened” alert and boosting its defences after Tehran threatened retaliation for the strike on its consulate in Syria. Iran has vowed revenge for the suspected Israeli airstrike on its diplomatic compound in the Syrian capital on April 1. The attack, which razed the Iranian embassy annexe in Damascus, resulted in the killing of two of its generals along with five military advisers.
Israel has neither confirmed nor denied the attack, which carries the risk of further inflaming the region.

More footages of ambulances and rescue team rushing frantically to the scene to find survivors. And there were videos of Modi and the Indian Defense Minister going to their funeral.

I can see Iran realistically knows that a hard damaging military strike on Israel would trigger massive American firepower from all the aircraft carriers and cruise missiles on US Navy ships. The response attack on Iran’s oilfields and the city of Tehran would be catastrophic. Netanyahu might even use nuclear weapons on Iran. The regional effects of all this in the Middle East would be apocalyptic on the global economy including the United States. Oil prices would explode and global tensions would increase exponentially. In short none of this is good! Hopefully cool heads prevail and the war in Gaza stops!
