Curious Brian - how is the insulin spike after that big evening meal? I love the 1 meal a day also, it's luxurious to get stuff done in a day, then in the night relax, and eat whatever (healthy for me but still my enjoyment) then chill. I'm not vegan, and crash after this meal, was plant-based for 5 years but didn't eat 1 meal a day at that time, curious how it is for you - appreciate it enjoy the vids

I've heard him talk about it before in a q&a basically he's natural but doesn't comment cause after enough times saying it you get annoyed I guess lol. Personally I don't think its an unattainable physique he's been doing it since a teen and is obviously super into it.

Dr Gregor claims quite low protein req to build muscle. As a vegan bodybuilder have you tried closer to 1g/kg to verify? It seems like low protein for longevity low mtor and higher protein needed for optimal muscle growth. Opinions?
You should watch Hench Herbivore's recent video featuring Dr. Matthew Nagra. While 1g/kg and the max 1.6/kg don't provide a ton of bonus, when you're in their position where it's a part of their livelihood, every little bit helps. For the normal Joe who doesn't rely on their physique to make money or care to get a potential extra 8-14%/year from that extra 0.6g/kg, then 1g/kg is plenty.
Seitan, nutritional yeast,bean pastas. Also just beans and if you really want just start chugging protein powder. There's a lot of misinformation about soy though so I wouldn't be scared of it unless you have an allergy.

Yeah I respect him but from my own experience I lost muscle when going for a 1g/1kg that’s insanely low tbh
