Guys does anyone else have this problem? I haven't seen the actual Nolan movies in a good year or two at least, and when I first saw them I had not yet seen or heard of these skits. I never noticed just how over-the-top Christian Bale's gravelly voice really is in the real movies... So now I've been watching and re-watching all these College Humor Batman skits for months now, and the guy who plays Batman in these does _such_ a good voice impression that when I went back to watch The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises a few days ago, I seriously can not stop laughing whenever the "real" Batman speaks in the movies now. It's so comical! It immediately makes me think I'm watching one of these skits and I can't stop cracking up and just can't take him seriously anymore. These skits are so good they ruined Nolan's Batman for me :( I mean, it's like, a _good_ kind of "ruined" because it's hilarious, but still.
I don't know why he made it worse as the trilogy went along. In Begins it was fine just Bale's voice kind of lower and raspy. In TDK he threw a lisp in there for some reason which really came out in the scene where Dent was interrogating that guy. And then in TDKR he just went nuts with it. The worst part is the fight with Bane where Bane is holding him by the throat, and he's still trying to do the voice while pretending to be strangled.
I noticed it. That and his teeth annoy me for some reason. That voice was the most grueling thing for me to endure. I give him credit though because he isn't from America and does our "accent" very well.
I think these and Troopers are like the greatest things College Humor has done. I'm not putting down the other stuff, but those two were just insanely funny.
