Your question about style. Which depends on several things. 1. where we're at with beta: if say were in a slow period for updates, you just want a sample of where we're at, which is likely a little better than the last vids. If like now we are getting used to a new version then I like as much as I can get of any style. 2. where am I at with my brain: If i'm tired, watching a drive an letting my own thoughts mingle with the things in the drive is relaxing. Earlier in the day, something with a bit of tempo like this help to get me more awake. 2a. How full my head is, if I'm working on something that is occupying most of my thinking, I'm not going to be able to take in half of something like The Limiting Factor, with high level condensed info. So in summery, it depends. We are all unique and you will Never please everyone. I recommend to all artists, to be quite selfish and do what they would want, if others like it cool if not no worries. Keep up the great work! IMHO you've found the perfect way to document FSD Beta: 1. The visualization overlay 2. The voiceover commentary - so much more effective than in-car narration at giving us context and pointing out what to look for in each scene 3. The external camera - great context view w/o the limitations of using a drone 4. Yes, the steering wheel marker was well worth your effort as it helps convey part of how smooth (or not) the drive feels Back before my first FSD Beta download, I used to watch everyone's videos. Now (especially as I await v11) it's pretty much just you and maybe Chuck... But I do imagine it must be hard to drive all the time in that helmet. 😁

Consider adding a "G-force meter" like they do in those racing videos to communicate the feel of the car. Also, add a reference circle around 0.5g (?) so that we know any acceleration below that threshold is considered comfortable. According to GPT-4 "In general, most people can comfortably tolerate lateral accelerations of up to 0.5 g in normal driving conditions". Perhaps put a circle (or oval) threshold around what you think feels comfortable. I mentioned oval since you might tolerate higher forward/backward acceleration than lateral acceleration. Note that comfort is also a measure of smoothness (the car can giggle the wheel within 0.5g, and that would be considered uncomfortable) so there are probably other measures you want to show.

Maybe one of the best FSD videos I have seen, thank you! The package is obviously getting better with each release and gives me hope that maybe in a year or so it will be prime time ready - at least in certain limited geographical areas.
The fast forwarding of the boring sections with voice over and keeping it an entire drive is the way to go, I feel. Love the graphics work too, well produced, and narrated :) oh, and the white stripe on the steering wheel gives a good visualisation of where the wheel is at. Keep them coming.
Great video as always. Those editing skills 👍. Love the explanations and context on all your videos. Makes it super easy understand what beta was doing. Steering wheel mark is a nice added touch!
I generally prefer the fast forward instead of cuts because it properly puts into context the number of mistakes vs the distance driven even if nothing exciting happens sometimes. A cut for a very long drive on a completely empty highway I think is fine though.
The main thing for feel is info on whether you'd use fsd on your regular day to day driving or whether it is still easier to just drive. I think that is a big milestone
San Jose isn't that difficult a place to drive. I've driven that area where you were driving. Try Pittsburgh if you want to see a challenging place to drive! It's one of the few scary places that has a full stop on the Highway entrance ramp, and it's a short ramp!! Try going from full stop 0 to 60 on a merge ramp that ends in 300 ft!
19:00 It stops for the stop line (it's assuming it is not seeing the sign that belongs to the line), and then is confused about which traffic it should yield to. It rightly decides that not seeing any cars is not the same as it seeing the road those cars would be on is clear, so it tries to find the area(s) it needs to see as empty for a while before giving up.
woah, what a beautiful drive, great commentary and editing as always, please keep it to full drives like this, it's amazing. Love your content, much love from Germany. I enjoyed every second of it
As a TSLA holder, this makes me feel better. I was beginning to wonder if FSD was EVER going to work. As a Tesla driver, it's not for me. The times when it goes ridiculously slow like a nervous granny or especially when it stops for a long time for no reason would drive me crazy. I hope those things are sorted in the future.
For the tram tracks, usually the stop line is considered the start of the intersection, so if you've crossed that then you should continue through the intersection. It shouldn't have stopped at the red and definitely not on the tracks.
San Jose on a clear day - seems to play to FSD's strengths with using cameras only - and not radar nor lidar. I would like you to come to Truckee on a snowy day when lane markings aren't clear and dirt obstructs cameras. That would be a more severe test!
Another amazing vid. You're one of the few I still watch. In rapture. Looking forward to your next ones. v11 really does look something special. Thanks for letting me enjoy FSD vicariously while I wait (impatiently ) for it to arrive in the UK
Was excited to see you release a v11 vid. Amazing production as always. I prefer the full drive than chopped up. You fast forward to interesting bits anyway and I'm capable of pressing the right arrow key too

Maybe one of the best FSD videos I have seen, thank you! The package is obviously getting better with each release and gives me hope that maybe in a year or so it will be prime time ready - at least in certain limited geographical areas.
I'm in awe at every single clip you release.
How you narrate and edit the video is simply the best out there. Thank you and cheers!
The fast forwarding of the boring sections with voice over and keeping it an entire drive is the way to go, I feel. Love the graphics work too, well produced, and narrated :) oh, and the white stripe on the steering wheel gives a good visualisation of where the wheel is at. Keep them coming.
I say keep the full drive/no cut videos. SO satisfying!
I enjoy the narration, so for me it doesn't matter if it's small or longer clips. You do explain it so well anyways. Cheers.
I probably never will own such a car but it’s really cool to see how much self driving improved over the years.
That was awesome to watch and the excitement I have in the improvements. Thank you for doing this for us 😊
Those camera transitions are SMOOOOTH
Great video as always. Those editing skills 👍. Love the explanations and context on all your videos. Makes it super easy understand what beta was doing. Steering wheel mark is a nice added touch!
I generally prefer the fast forward instead of cuts because it properly puts into context the number of mistakes vs the distance driven even if nothing exciting happens sometimes. A cut for a very long drive on a completely empty highway I think is fine though.
lol I was watching this part and realized, :" wait a minute, is that the speedy taco I drive by everyday?"
The main thing for feel is info on whether you'd use fsd on your regular day to day driving or whether it is still easier to just drive. I think that is a big milestone
I love the full drives like this one! Though I will still watch every video you release 😁
(I was driving that pre-Tesla, so scary when your car can't accelerate like a Tesla!)
I like the longer view and I noticed that SW cover right away, nice touch
5:14 i prefer full drives with sped up boring bits. this video is one of my favorites! great production value as always.
16:19 I chuckled when the bicycle turned in to two pedestrians. I mean, it’s technically correct lol
im not that much into software but these videos are just very chill to watch, i really like them
That was a really good job….by the car and by you narrating and evaluating.
Watching this from Serbia like best piece of content this week.
I have V11 also. It's 5 steps forward, 1 step back. This is by far the best version ever.
23:10 OK now im convinced FSD sometimes is a better driver than I am
19:00 It stops for the stop line (it's assuming it is not seeing the sign that belongs to the line), and then is confused about which traffic it should yield to. It rightly decides that not seeing any cars is not the same as it seeing the road those cars would be on is clear, so it tries to find the area(s) it needs to see as empty for a while before giving up.
Can't get over how funny your license plate is. Don't know why but I Crack up
woah, what a beautiful drive, great commentary and editing as always, please keep it to full drives like this, it's amazing. Love your content, much love from Germany. I enjoyed every second of it
I'm sooo excited to get this version. It will be my first time ever trying FSD!
As a TSLA holder, this makes me feel better. I was beginning to wonder if FSD was EVER going to work. As a Tesla driver, it's not for me. The times when it goes ridiculously slow like a nervous granny or especially when it stops for a long time for no reason would drive me crazy. I hope those things are sorted in the future.
great and exciting! Thank you for so much detail and commentary :) Can't wait to get it in Europe!
The steering wheel cover was a brilliant idea!
It's very interesting to watch how the steering wheel behaves. 👍
For the tram tracks, usually the stop line is considered the start of the intersection, so if you've crossed that then you should continue through the intersection. It shouldn't have stopped at the red and definitely not on the tracks.
Like the full-drive style of video, and the steering wheel cover is a nice touch!
This is one of best Tesla FSD test driver video! Thank you for your effort!
Fantastic video. Like the continues video of the complete drive without cuts. The quick lane changes are unreal. Can't wait to see it in Europe
San Jose on a clear day - seems to play to FSD's strengths with using cameras only - and not radar nor lidar. I would like you to come to Truckee on a snowy day when lane markings aren't clear and dirt obstructs cameras. That would be a more severe test!
Been watching since the time you were filming with only 1 camera! This content is getting more and more amazing!🎉
Great content! I prefer the full drive edit and that outro with just FSD visualisation was cool! Keep up the good work :)
Another amazing vid. You're one of the few I still watch. In rapture. Looking forward to your next ones. v11 really does look something special. Thanks for letting me enjoy FSD vicariously while I wait (impatiently ) for it to arrive in the UK
FF with no cuts are great for me.
Was excited to see you release a v11 vid. Amazing production as always. I prefer the full drive than chopped up. You fast forward to interesting bits anyway and I'm capable of pressing the right arrow key too
Love from the UK 🇬🇧, it was interesting to see what suburban California looks like.
Starting to look really smooth & human, thanks for the video as always
great - thanks for putting this together - I like these longer videos!
