I have been watching: what I eat in day videos, and a lot of the themes tend to be portion-based, heavily counted, and/or replacements. This is the first video I have viewed that is based on energy for the body, proper fuel, and nutrients and eating things you like. Thank you for reminding me what is truly important.
No shit.
Well said ^^!
This is a very nice comment! I am also very happy to see somebody explain in terms of how they feel and what they do in a day rather than focusing on macros. Also I like that she is not super focused on calories! As calories are measured by combustion, we humans do no combust, we metabolise which is not exactly the same process.
@@IamRedaM thank you and definitely! I just felt the need to express my thanks because even I forgot the meaning of good health and I have been on my personal journey for 4 almost 5 years.
Great video and great menu, but surely 65g of carbs does not seem right, as 1 bagel alone has approx. 49 carbs; a very small portion of rice has 50g (plus) of carbs; not to mention honey, jam, whey product, etc. Did I misunderstand Tia-Clair's counting. Apologies in advance, if I got it wrong.

Amazing
Can't see Shane being a Brand Ambassador anytime soon with that level of honesty😀😀
Tia is truly amazing! I discovered her watching CrossFit Championship. I lift weights, and I respect her strength. She’s naturally strong. Having a husband as her coach helps! They’re cute together & make a killer team to beat
Yeah it’s rare that a couple can compartmentalize like that. My wife loves me I know but if I tried to tell her what to do or vice versa one of us would definitely get an attitude 😂
@port nut I’m trying to decide if I should explain it to you or just let you continue saying dumb stuff
@port nut First let’s establish that every professional athlete in the world has a professional coach. Michael Jordan had a coach. Mike Tyson had a coach. Serena Williams and Christiano Ronaldo have coaches. In fact, most pro athletes have several coaches. A baseball pitcher in the MLB will have a pitching coach, a hitting coach, a strength coach, etc.
Coaches exist because an athlete’s energy must be primarily focused on improving their skills through practice. They don’t have time to get advanced degrees in exercise science, do research on the competition, scout the playing field, or stay up to date on the newest training methods.
Tia has to practice CrossFit all day. She needs a coach who doesn’t have to CrossFit all day so that he can program her workouts, recovery, nutrition, travel, and everything else that goes into competing at the highest level.
She’s not so good at CrossFit that she doesn’t need a coach, she’s so good at CrossFit in part BECAUSE she has a good coach.
It’s not like he just started coaching her after she was already winning, dumbass.
@port nut the question was never whether or not you should have a coach. You are not a professional athlete. Your “30 years of experience” are still not even close to her level. And if you did, you would most likely have a coach. Stay on topic here champ.
She looks tired after those many workouts.. Tia you are the inspiration for so many people. One of the most honest person I would say. Keep spreading the positivity.
I don't think she'd call herself the worlds fittest if being honest. That's a VERY bold and reaching type of statement to make of oneself, and for ANYONE to say.

Hi you can cook the dal in slow cooker and carry in a tharmos with you. Package dal is not good. Use lentil with husk and without husk 1:1 ratio, spices salt, paper, little bit turmeric and cumin, chopped tomatos, onion and garlic. Cook on low 3 hrs / or high 1 hr. Eating fresh food will give you more nutritional value and energy.
With a busy training schedule like hers and considering that she is currently tracking, it is much more efficient to do that with packaged foods. The food industry has come a long way and you can get a lot of pre packaged foods without the junk.

Unfortunately for me I eat like a Hobbit and look like one too. :(
@@lender3000 Saaaame! I have the height and all haha
Had the exact same thought!
You forgot the anabolics bro
Just in case anyone's wondering, yes those macro numbers in the graphics at 11:05 are way out.
134g pro, 65g, carb and 80g fat is roughly 1500kcal, not 2900kcal
She'd, for example, have consumed the quoted 65g carbs by the end of breakfast.
maybe thy forgot to put the 1 in, could be 165g carbs
Yes there must be a mistake with the 65g of carbs
@@MaybeSophiia I thought about that but it still wouldn't total 2900 (100g CHO = 400kcal)
Correct!
I was thinking the same... Only way I could make it around 2800 is to add 100 grams on both carbs and fat.. what is correct? Otherwise I loved the video :)
You’re so inspiring Tia! Incredible athlete and human. You have such a great mindset. Always a great reminder to hear that food is fuel from an athlete as successful as you!
Thank you so much!!
@@tia-clairtoomeyshaneorr5705 How many calories you consume daily, and how much it cost?
@@marcellogenesi6390 It's shown in the video, dude. Costs vary from place to place.
Beautifully done! I love the emphasis on satiation, energy levels, performance and how you FEEL. Exactly what I try to teach my kids about nutrition and how to have a healthy relationship with food as fuel.
😅
I get so overwhelmed with keeping with macros and numbers… great video it definitely helped me to not stress about what my intake proportions❤
You should do a whole day in the life. Showing us all your training, what you eat, what you do
Its already being made!
@@tia-clairtoomeyshaneorr5705 I bet it’s top-secret! So the competition doesn’t find out 😂
Tia, I know the purpose of this video is to showcase nutrition consumed by a training athlete, and in particular - you! That it did, but a critical point it also demonstrated was how we all should have a healthy relationship with food. I feel you’re an amazing role model to girls, young women (and boys and men) out there who might be struggling with disordered eating, body image/concept disturbance and/or lower self worth. Keep killin’ it and do what you do! Hats off to you and all of your amazing, hard work you’ve put in!
The fact that Shane turns the tap off every time after using it and not letting it run is so respectful!
PAS DE GASPILLAGE 👍
Love the hard “R” that’s coming through after living in America! Makes her even more unique!
Loved this! Such great balance and love hearing you talk about foods for their satisfaction not just their nutritional benefits. You’re awesome!
Love that your goal is to fuel your body, I think that is very inspirational! Thanks for sharing!!
Loved seeing hair down at the end. Yes, it is always up and out of the way for training, but down for the more relaxed Tia-Clair Toomey
I love that you show the importance of good fats, healthy carbohydrates and the variety of proteins, but also the importnace of the right supplements (often forgotten) :) Thank you for that awesome video!
I can't say this enough you guys have changed my life!!!! you and Shane are unreal amazing people! God bless you guys keep bringing people like you to this world! Thank you Tia!💚🇺🇸
All of those meals look so yummy 🤤! Thanks for sharing this with us! We’re so excited to cheer you on at the Games!! 📣
Us too!
I love your accent! 🥰 I am Latina, but my husband and his family are Australian, so hearing an Australian accent makes me feel at home.
I like how you talk about food and nutrition in terms of energy and fuel 👏🏻
The two of you are magical, hard workers, dedicated, driven, and just phenomenal for what this sport represents. May you continue to have the time of your life
Thank You! Interesting content for everyone who is in fitness.:) Fueling our body is important!:)
Absolutely!
I’d love to have insight into how you developed this nutrition framework. And how long it took you to adapt/adjust. I’d also love to hear some of your “learn from my mistakes” related to nutrition, particularly during a cardio endurance heavy training block. Thank you for being a body positive, health focused female athlete.
Huberman Labs has amazing podcasts/youtube videos on all things nutrition, mind and training :)

She doesn't make mistakes
She’s only eats 1 and 1/2 meals a day. 😬 supplements her entire day.
I found you thru weight lifting videos from UA-cam and you've been by far a huge inspiration for me. I am currently working with a PT to get into weight lifting.
Youve made a huge impact on me!
Sooo excited to see you compete. It’s awesome to see the amount of work you put in in the gym and out of the gym. Good luck!!
Thanks so much!!
Tia eats 900 calories more than me and I'm just a simple human who try to do the work... easy peasy, your body is a machine gun treat like one!!
Respect for the fittest woman on earth and her team!
Thank you!
Watching intently - who doesn't want to see how the world's fittest woman gets her gains???
The amount of effort you put into life alongside the positive incentives you shoot at your fans is admirably limitless.
Proud to be your STAN T_T 💌
Love you!!!
I do think the macros are added incorrectly..the beagle by itself has at least 45g of carbs. The total for the day in carbs was 65. I believe with rice, bananas, oats, blueberries and the beagle it comes to much more than 65g..,perhaps I missed something. My apologies if I’m wrong
I noticed that too! Should definitely be more like 265 or even 365 g of carbs! Not just 65. Must’ve been a typo.
Tia-Clair i think you are amazing 😃,You are an inspiration. When you compete I'm rooting for you in all your events. keep doing what your doing You Rock !!!!!
I was recently in the presence of very toxic women that happened to be mothers. Complaining non stop blaming the childbirth to being stressed eat badly and looking out of shape. Saying that working out is pointless at 45 years old! I really had to cut ties with them. They give a bad image to motherhood and women in general. Not all moms let themselves go and not all women want to be moms! We are free and treating my body like my temple is what I need. They gave me looks and discouraging comments. But I cut all ties.
Merry and Pippin would be proud that you are having second breakfast :) nice vid!
God surely sent me here to teach me something. Yesterday afternoon I almost passed out after running 10 km ( In the morning had done weightlifting and ate a little after). FOOD IS FUEL should be my new motto.
The best thing I have ever learned on the physical level is that hunger never tasted so good! "The fear of feeling depleted" is like ever other fear, try to surpass it, try hunger every now and then, will not lose your strength, performance, skills... hunger is a booster but you'll have to see not just in a 24 or 48h window.
Just a heads up the carbs from the dinner were mixed up with the carbs from end of day! Dinner carbs said 450 and end of day said 65 grams
I like how Tia is the world's fittest woman and does all her own meal prep and cooking and the world's fittest man has his girlfriend do it all. Just sayin'! (Women rock!)
It's like traditional roles work
@@DEVIL9999ish Ronnie Coleman is far far faaaaar from the world's fittest man. Even in his prime bodybuilding days he was in a poor health. Bodybuilding to the extent that Ronnie Coleman was at is insanely unhealthy and not even close to being fit. For example I highly doubt Ronnie Coleman could jog for say 20 minutes. He'd have a heart attack
Are you referring to Matt Fraser?
i think some grams of cho, ptn and lipid are missing in this count - 134 g ptn x4 +65g chox 4+ 80x9 =1516 kcal ?
Lots of love and appreciation from India 🥰🥰🥰you are incredibly inspiring , i watch your videos before working out always!!
I have such a hard time learning how to fuel my body. This helped a lot! ❤️
Hi tia this was a great video to watch because I’m a young athlete and needed a little help on ideas for healthy foods. This was great!!! Thank you 😊. I will be cheering you on at the games!!!!
Would be great to see Tia's grip strength ie hand grippers, dynamometer, axle double overhand deadlift, farmers walk
Got it!
The part with drums was freaken awesome!!!
That was awesome day in the life Tia and Shane. Keep up on what you are doing, I really love the video and training videos. It keeps me thinking about how important it is to go to the gym and if I am training hard enough 😂😂
How do you balance strength and cardio training during the week? How often do you do cardio and lifting?
It would be really interesting to see a breakdown of what you spend on a week on food (cooking and eating out) and supplements?
in case anyone wondered what that hot sauce on egg sandwich was it’s called truff hot sauce it does taste really good
Love how you mix up your foods! As a teenager hoping to make it to the games i thought i could only be successful by eating the same thing every day so its nice to hear you say you try to have variety
You can do it!
@@tia-clairtoomeyshaneorr5705 Aw thank you so much! Good luck at the games! I’ll be cheering you on! :)
I’m sorry…I missed the time of day for testosterone supplements and Hgh therapy. Is it before or after pre-workout meals?
You are such an incredible athlete! Your also such an inspiration!! I watched some of the cross fit games this year and it was so amazing to see all these talented athletes!!! Keep up the hard work your truly amazing!!!
Not sure if you all have covered this but you should cover any therapies that you do for your body and how often IF you do; cryotherapy, chiro, physical therapy, mental therapy, acupuncture etc…
Fittest woman on earth has rice and beans for lunch. Being Brazilian, this is music to my ears as it's a staple for us and I simply love it - it's real food for me. Arroz e feijao - nom nom nom.
The calorie breakdown at 11:05 doesn't add up, 134/65/80 only adds up to about 1400 cals.
Wow i loved this!! Really enjoyed the daily diet. Helps me 2 plan out my day inref 2 how much energy ill need. Loved it! 💖💖💃👏👏💪
Loved this girl! Hope you've been well since Reebook summit in Bangkok, it's been years! love seeing your videos xx
Thanks for that fantastic video and detailed report mixed with the training shots💪🏻
Hiii Tia, pretty cool your meals daily routine! Could you tell us what are those reds and greens you took last in the vdeo
Love this. Thanks Tia. You’ve got a new fan.
One of the first viewers here, Sup Tia and Shane, keep up the great content, keep us on the loop! 🤙
Awesome! Thank you!
Glad I found your channel! I get a lot out of watching these.
we just love you Tia, there is no good and bad...just good!
Thank you!
Great video. Good to get understanding of what someone at very top of their game fuels their body with. Thanks TCT. 👍
Nice vlog thx! How many hours of sleep do you need for this level of training? Do you sleep only at night, or do you also nap during the day?
How many carbs do you consume in a day? The reason I ask, when you were giving a rundown of how much protein, carbs and fats you consume overall in a day towards the end of your video it showed 135 protein and 65 carbs. Are those only the carbs after your workout sessions, dinner carbs?
I was wondering the same thing. She’s eating wayyyyyy more that 65g carbs a day, that was just like breakfast 😂
Im wondering the same. I don't think that's net carbs either.....
Thanks for the video+tips. I'll have to take the fuel-for-fire idea and see how I feel.🤘
i work out all day too.... packing bowls and ripping bongs!! this type of living i have found to be much much more rewarding than my old ways of being into exercise... wasted years there!!!
I have one question? For breakfast I eat 1 half cup of oatmeal, I scoop of proteins, half of walnuts, dried cranberry and almond milk with one tablespoon of peanut butter, is this too much? meal two would be a shake and the last meal ,rice and chicken.
Hey Tia! 😊 Can I put on muscle weight while I'm shedding fat weight simultanesouly? I know the ⚖️ scale might not reflect much weight loss unless a use more of a bmi scale but if this was my goal what would you recommend? Ive been keeping my diet to a lower caloric goal, lower carbs and fats but still eating about 80-100 g of protein daily. Any advice?
Thanks Tia! Youre so cool ! 😎
Very helpful to know how you incorporate food and drinks into your sessions. It would definitely be challenging to make sure you take in all the necessary nutrients to sustain the workouts. I feel like you and Shane are headed to the top again 💪
I could honestly run in circles all day long with how excited i am for the games this year holy f
Always wondered, thank you for sharing Tia & Shane
🙏
I got a couple questions, do you eat the same Breakfast and lunch everyday if so, for how long, weeks or months? Also, does your food change during competition?
Please can you link the oat desert you mentioned at the end? 🇬🇧
Yes, could y'all please tell us where to find that?
If being the fittest women in the world to look more manly than your husband, I'm out. I just want to be a healthy female.
I absolutely love watching you at the CrossFit games! You’re an inspiration/motivation 👏🏾💪🏾
Sleep is always so great after a hard day :)
Always love it! Can't hate on passion!
Thanks for this tia ! 😁
Loved it! Awsome information!
THANKS FOR NOT ADDING TONS OF ADS DURING YOUR VIDEO ❤
your amazing! i love your videos. good luck at the games! i’m always team tia😘
Where do you find the supplements you take? The green and reds?
This is so motivating! Thanks for sharing.😅
figs and dates give astounding energy ...add the powder to some shakes...sweet , yummy, powerful...put some chunks in your oat treat
You inspire me everyday
i was wondering how many carbs you had through the day. what helped you decide that amount?
I got a lot of respect for eating the opti-greens. The taste made my soul leave my body 😂😂😂 I kept with it for about two firm weeks and the only thing I could cut it with was Oj, but I couldn’t get thru it.
Great video 🤙🏼🤙🏼 your new kitchen looks beautiful
This woman is so impressive, literally one of the strongest humans to ever live
the amount of discipline all of this takes...I can't even imagine.
Great advice!
I was actually surprised because I expected a lot more calories! Very interesting to see the meals!
I eat with what I am comfortable. I don't like to feel full, this number does range on the day of course.
At first I was also surprised by the amount of calories, but then I remembered Tia´s height and can tell that said amount is quite fitting for her "size". If she were 5`8 she probably would consume between 500-1000 calories more ;)
@@tia-clairtoomeyshaneorr5705 Very smart to keep the protein low during the day! Keep the heavy digestion for later at home :)
