    Could you remove that spring ring in the bezel, making it a bi directional bezel? Or does it require that ring for the bezel to work?

      So I just tested it out on a Timex GMT that has a unidirectional bezel and after removing the spring I can’t get the bezel to seat properly. Hypothetically, if you can get it to seat it should work, but I’d also be worried about it binding up and not wanting to move at all

      Okay, so I just got it to seat on the Timex and it works great. It has a very similar setup so I think it will work for you on the Turtle.

      Just did it again on a Parnis GMT and again, it worked great. I may have to make a video on it now lol

      Just did it on my Turtle and it’s working well. Are you using a stock bezel or aftermarket?

    Had a gunked up bezel on my turtle, been pissing me off for a good few days. Just watched your video and it's now sorted. Spot on, Thanks 👍

    Nice and straightforward video. Kudo's to the Final 7 music.

    Mineral oil degrades rubber and plastic. Way worse than not using any lubrication. If you want to use the right oil it has to be a silicone based lubricant safe for rubber and plastics.

    If you want to use a adhesive on a watch use Gs hypo cement as super glue gives off fumes that can damage your watch

      I appreciate the tip!

      @@knoxknifemods in this case it might not matter as the case is waterproof and the bezel is on the outside of the case but I’d say just use some Hypo cement just in case. I heard somewhere that super glue is quite brittle so another advantage hypo cement has is that it won’t snap off at a bash.

    Hi, thank u for your video. But how can you remove superglue from the bezel and bezel insert?😊

    Great demonstration! But my SRP775 bezel ring becomes harder to turn. It's not dirty because it turns fine when its wet.

      You have to apply some type of lubricant before you install the new bezel to keep it from seizing on you

    What is the size of the original bezel insert on the srp775?

    How did you remove the insert from the bezel? Just put them into soapy water?

    • @knoxknifemods
      @knoxknifemods  3 роки тому +1

      Let it soak in soapy water for as long as you can, I would say at least an hour, and then I use a very thin pen knife or an exacto knife that will slide between the insert and the bezel, and then I just slowly work it all the way around until it comes loose

      @@knoxknifemods thank you for reply. I was wondering what solvent I should use to dissolve the glue. I will try your way as I want to keep the original insert.
