I have followed Emilia for years on UA-cam now. To see her continue grow from an outsiders perspective is so cool. No doubt she has hard hard times along her journey but from our view point she is only going up and getting better in everything she is building (cars, acting, advocating, her community) . Great episode, great guest!

I lost my dad when I was 17. The trauma of seeing him just waste away with pancreatic cancer (he only lived five weeks after diagnosis) and die while I was in the room has never left me. And I'm in my forties now. I went through a period of heavy drinking that last four years and one day I thought to myself "This isn't who I want to be" and I stopped. Cold turkey.

Emilia is a one of a few yt car enthusiasts I look up to and inspires me to help the homies that struggle mentally, cuz I've gone through it myself and had an epiphany, cars saved my life. It gave me a goal a reason to keep moving forward and just learn to roll with the punches as much as it sucks sometimes. 🖤🖤🖤 mental health is so important!!!!!!

That part about her going to school the next day like nothing happened made me tear up and the part about the therapist sitting in silence with her as well. It reminded of being in third grade when my grandfather died and going to school the same way. Everyone was happy and having fun and it was like I had a secret or something I could not talk about.

Appreciating cars, and seeing Emelia share her early struggles, but more importantly, her solvency in how she deals with, what to many, can be a dark period they feel pulls them away from pursuing and achieving personal growth, is very enlightening to see and hear. Her love of life is evident, and her sincerity to help even guide others away from dark places will be where her future years will become synonymous with her passion for cars and acting. She has built a strong emotional and mental foundation for herself and her confidence in herself makes her one of those rare individuals comfortable in her own skin. Great interview, great questions, but mostly, an important message for those who watch this. Thank you :)

I've been watching Emilia for years now since she first bought her green 240sx and I always wondered about how her father died. Now hearing this makes me tear up because when I was younger I tried committing suicide about 6 times and failed Everytime. But as soon as I held my first daughter in my arms it made me think about it less. Now that I have 2 daughters they make me so happy that i don't even think about suicide that much anymore. When I do i think about them and I forget about suicide and i love that my daughters love helping me work on cars too!

Lost my 31 yr old wife to cancer in 2015. Broke my heart. On top of that gave our 4 yr old son to her parents. I’m partially disabled (hip replacements) and couldn’t care for him on my own. Then lost my job of 20 years in late 2022. Depressed since wife passed and then losing job. Then car totaled on Halloween 2023. I felt like I had a mountain of pressure on my back and was ready to break. After that I Had some very long looks at my 9mm pistol. But I thought of all my friends and family that cares for and loves me. How they would feel if I ended my life. That and I need to be here for my son much as I can. That helped me out of my depression. That and I recently got a new job! I really appreciate Amelia’s story about her dad and am sorry she and Olivia had to go through that. Thoughts and prayers ladies. Travis C.

Loved the episode and the fact yall had Emilia on. Fighting depression as long as I have, I'm thankful for my cars. They've literally saved me from drinking, addiction, and depression. Emilias story about how the car community took her in and is why she is where she is today is amazing. Loved the back story, and it's motivating. Maybe I can start a youtube page and have something to look forward to. Also named my daughter after your oc character thought I'd add that in there watching season 3 ep 1 right now.....

1:10: 20. I have a child with multiple special needs and when he was a baby and into his toddler years, he was considered medically fragile. And people knew that and would bring their very sick kids around him! And one time it went drastically wrong and he ended up with influenza and it put him in pediatric ICU and he came very close to renal failure his muscle creatine levels went so high. People, keep your sick kids away from babies and toddlers especially!

First time watching this channel. I don't understand the foot fetish thing. 😅
I very much enjoyed the interview with Emelia Hartford.
She was so open about the tragic death of her father.
It was sad to hear Olivia also lost her father at a young age.
I can't imagine loosing my father at 15.
I grew up working on cars with my father and grandfather, and find it awesome when women appreciate cars. Especially if they want to work on them. That's rare. Sadly most modern cars lack soul and are basically laptops/computers on wheels only used to go from point A to point B.
Cars can be fun/beautiful works of art. There is something therapeutic about fixing up a old car and seeing it
    go from junk to beautiful.
As a person that suffers from depression I appreciate Emelia's efforts to provide help for those in crisis.

Really reading between the lines there, and that's not how it came across to me at all, just got the words out a bit sloppily, that can happen, especially when perhaps nervous and having to think of the cameras, the audio, the sponsored moments and choosing between introducing from memory or with whats written down. Don't ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained with incompetence.

Doesn't matter how many times I hear it, the feet thing I just dont get! I played rugby for years and have broken 8(?)of my toes over the years, two of which go off at 45 degrees at the 'nail end' of the last knuckle. If anyone is into wonky toes and wants to pay to see 'em - tell me where to sign up!!

Sandy was a Ford guy so I dont dislike him for it. Ford makes you money. That old trans. I met Roy Butfoy Jr when he was there but he looked over my rebuilt ZF trans and gave it the thumbs up to my face... Thois was like 2012? 2013? I

God didn't take her father he just gave her the strength to get through it and make her a stronger better person. Her father lost in a battle of wills against evil and a hole in his heart he couldn't fill or find a way to fill it. I believe he was probably being attacked by something I believe emilia felt it and kind of had a premonition the day she was eating dinner as a kid with her father but as a kid didn't actually didn't know what to do with what he was saying after talking about the subwoofer Don't get me wrong I don't think her father was evil he just had darkness following him. A lot of people wouldn't know what to do with that recognize the signs or what to even do. People want to do good but some don't know how his actions in the end were not good. I am in a pretty bad place myself I am basically paralyzed from muscular dystrophy I however and am happy. I credit that to Jesus God over all he has made the difference for me. Even in my worst moments I have hope in a better future we as people only have one soul and need to protect it. I don't know if I believe that their is a hell I believe that is something that we create ourselves. Do I believe he was saved in the end or not by god I don't know. I don't believe his soul has peace right now but maybe at some point it will be. I believe if at any point you have given your life to Jesus you won't suffer In death. Some people have no idea who he is so I don't believe they will have to suffer either. If at any point in his life if he accepted Jesus he probably saved his soul even if he walked away from God he is not vengeful. if he actually never heard about him I don't think in the end he will be judged guilty. He did commit a sin against his family, friends, and god by committing suicide leaving them to suffer. In the end he will be resurrected and have to stand in judgment at the throne of god just like the rest of us I believe it is impossible for us to know every bad thing we have done and ask for forgiveness for that thing. He probably thought his death was better but he really didn't know better. So that sin he did at the end of his life is forgiven and forgotten. Don't get me wrong some people can't be saved but I really believe he was. Like I said god is not vengeful people believe that but it's not true. Now if I am correct he will have to make a choice when he stands before the throne of god. The choice god already knows what her father will decide at that moment and is written in the book of life. Positivity and mental health issues need to be treated so people can know what is right wrong and what to do how to feel better about life. I am not super religious either but I do believe in God Jesus I have read parts of the Bible and know enough to believe in it. People should not poo poo that there is a god the universe and nature science and even our own history prove it. The world is not 6000 years old it's older time is different to god I am pretty sure and that some really Uber religious people don't except that and don't understand how to forgive or how it works and ruin it for people. it is not Selfish to not want to be alone people are not meant to be alone Have a family have kids Find a person who you can love and give that love you back and be willing to work on your relationship you have to talk about everything and be kind to each other. The coincidences is god watching over you and letting you be able to prosper in what you do and probably keeping you safe.

I immediately started following her to see her finish building that car, and then drifting it. She has crazy car skills from all different directions. Building, driving and just her passion is incredible. Love to see her grow as a strong person. 🧍‍♂️
