Great show!!! It's kinda funny when a network personality takes a punch at a podcast personality. They only get 1 maybe 2 shots because they have limited time and are absorbed in network obligations. Podcast can dedicate punches without agenda, or purpose but just because its funny and real. All day long if they want. Great win for free speech

This was SO FREAKING GOOD!! I haven’t laughed so much in forever! Broad Ideas was my #1 podcast this year for a reason but this has been one of my favourites❤ Rachel, I truly cannot fathom the negative impact dumb clickbait and taking short soundbites has on you. But, I do want to say that that doesn’t ever reflect on you. It only reflects poorly on them. Keep doing you! We love you and Olivia! My girl group doesn’t always talk about the nitty gritty issues of life and relationships, so I feel like your podcast is like a warm blanket and a glass of wine 👌🏻 Love you gals ❤

For the very last bit, about the guy who went through his girls phone. I think that if you are a woman in a relationship and you entertain and invite a another man’s continued attention via having lunch or giving him your number so he can text you. You are contributing to the environment of distrust in your relationship. You may not have any intentions with this person other than as a work colleague, but 99% of men would view that as an opening, and that is exactly why most men become protective of their relationship when a new guy friend enters the picture. We are not naive.
And yes Olivia all your guy friends at one point or another want to sleep with you, they are just keeping a friendship open with you for when your situation changes. Generally men are not friends with women they do not find attractive. In a rare case you might be friends with the girl he was trying to get with and this would have given you a situation to develop a friendship. Or other secondary connections like that. But if you are reasonably attractive and then yes your guy friends are totally down to sleep with you. They just might not actively act upon that due to your situation.
It sucks that it be like that. I wish all men knew how psychologically painful it is for a woman’s primary relationship to slowly stop working, and for a guy you thought was a friend to think he can take advantage. Just be straightforward with her and ask her how her relationship is doing.
You can’t just casually sleep with a married woman. Expecting her to know what to do in that situation will break her.

Holy smokes. I love Jake in every role he’s played, but my god, he will not let anyone talk without talking loudly over them. The irony is, I’m probably the same, but seeing this, I’m definitely going to be far more aware of how annoying this is. Great and entertaining podcast otherwise!

I don't think she was suggesting that anyone sleep with a married man. I believe she meant that a reason that it wouldn't be unusual for a man to have only slept with 4 people is if he's been married for many years.. If you are faithful & marry your high school or college sweetheart, chances are, you've had a limited number of sex partners... 🤔
