Samsung Galaxy a52s is a very capable device for making videos and pictures. I have compare it with S21 FE and my choice is a52a as it's half the price and offers pretty much the same and even better pictures at night in my opinion 🙂
@Claas Kuhnen -😯😯😯😯 Why didn't you just go switch to another company the uses the same cell provider? That's what I did, got me a53 for $50, but retained the same great service that I'm used to receiving. Try doing that for your next, you won't regret it.
I love the more vibrant and contrasty look of the Samsung.. I was shocked to see that some photos looked even better on the A52 compared to iphone.. I thought 13 pro would win it all but dang, some photos looked really good on the A52.. Video goes to iphone hands down due to stabilization, but the color science of Samsung is definitely my taste as its punchier.. I watched this video on a 50 inch 4K TV to see the actual details and samsung is really a bang for the buck at less than half the price wich can compete with the most expensive flagship iphone
I bought my a52s 5g today for $499nzd, converted from apple and I was getting pretty nervous looking at other peoples reviews on the camera. Glad to have seen this one, you took some amazing shots. You have a strong eye for art in the day to day world. Super excited and am looking forward to my phone arriving :D also I read that samsung fixed the stabilization issue in their May update. If you still have the a52 it would be cool to see the new and improved videos
I’ve shot it recently and I’m not sure it does enough. Ppl say the A52s has stabilization. Same with the A53. When it’s in 4K resolution, the video stabilization option is grayed out
at the begining of the video, the ultrawide on the a52 was better than the 13 pro for me, and that trend continued with most of the video shots on the 2 phones. as mkbhd said, "Good phones are not getting cheap, Cheap phones are getting good"
@@danielsin I have the A52s version, after One UI 4.1 update all 4K30 modes gained extra electronic stabilization. I noticed it's not gimbal-like stable, but it's still not bad at all and look natural.
Definitely will get 3-4 yrs minimum out of it...the 52"S" is a beast!! And of course it was released 3 weeks after I had already purchased my Regular 52 5g...still a good phone,but the 52S is a very good phone..side by side,it seems the same,but the one my friend has is much faster...

I am the A52 owner and I wanted to buy iphone 13. After this video I'll stay with A52. Definitely there wasn't a big difference between photos from these two devices for common user.. I can imagine an advantage in speed of iphone because my a52 began to be slower after 6 months of using.. but the price of a52 has convinced me.

To me I didn't see a huge difference in photos or videos. If you were to label the Samsung ones as iphone I think people would believe it. This mode is fantastic. Probably the video was recorded with this mode off. That way the difference is huge, but with mode on probably would stay the same
The devices are good, and they are not perfect, sometimes you can get it right, sometimes you get it wrong. the photos and videos came out great on both.
Judging from this video it depends on the shot.Definitely found some were better on the A52S - sharpnes on a par or better to the 13, with more naturally vivid colours, better dynamic range, nice detail... In other examples the 13 is better. If the examples were not labelled, I wouldn't guess which is the 4x more expnesive phone.
The zoom feature is OK, however, if I want to take photos I'll buy a camera. I don't buy a camera to make phone calls! Likewise, I don't buy a phone to take serious photos.

The A52 5G looked more natural in terms of colors, i am wondering why the footage was so shaky though. Does the A52 5G not have electronic stabilization or did you just forget to turn it on in the settings ? (One important thing to mention, Samsung's A-serie only records in Mono, while the S-serie only records in stereo, iPhone can do both). Btw, thank you for clarifiying that the new Pixel phones can even take a photo while the video is paused.

The A52s has EIS for 4k video. It got it wit the last update. Overall it performs well in photos and videos where the biggest negative now is lack of EIS for 1080p60. Oh and I payed 350 euros for the A52s and os a free pair of Galaxy Buds2.
Through this comparison, I think that the a52 is very close in camera quality to the iPhone 13, but in some wide photos, Samsung was better.. Possibly the iPhone 13 was only superior to the a52s in managing the light with a higher quality.
Well if you buy a phone, you have to take in consideration everything not just the camera, the Samsung A series is just screen and camera, the rest is just a mess, those phones lag so much it's hard for me to justify the camera. But on the other side with the iPhone, yes you pay 1000+ for it but you get everything, from performance to build quality to speakers to everything, that's what you pay for. I mean you can say that the camera is important but when your phone can't even work properly after half a year, I don't think it is, especially that most don't even use the camera once a week

So I just got the A53 G5 and comparing it to my iPhone 12 Pro Max I just say while it is impressive how far the A53 cameras get - it has many short comings Hands down apples 12MP camera spanks the Samsung 64MP sensors Btw the same also with the galaxy ultra ! Also hardly android apps support all the cameras the galaxy a53 has So what’s the point then ? In the end I will give the device back Lack of software Slow processing speed And issues with dynamic range makes the A53 not as good for around 450$ Still as an entry phone it is impressive !!
Personally, I feel like the A52 is better. It has the least disadvantages whereas the A51 has over-heating issues, and the A53 has way too contrasted colors and those problems you mentioned. We'll see what happens when the A54 comes out in August-September.

Yeah it can keep up, the good thing about the iPhone portrait mode is you have the choice to use 1x or 3x
