I hope Christians are not subscribing to power... we are taught to lean on Christ alone for ALL our needs. Some good things in this chat, some things I don’t agree with.... what the culture NEEDS most is to know they are sinners who need a savior.
The Bible states the CRITERIA of a leader... parts of this seem very secular & not biblical.

They were talking about Numbers 27 in terms of only boy children getting an inheritance but God stated in this instance to give the inheritance to the girl children too. There God made having girls equal to boys in terms of inheritance.
There is a scripture in the new testament that says "there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there is male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" . This shows in Christ all genders and tribes are equal.

It also dawned on me later that the women were observing submission to men and appointed leaders. For example first going to enquire through the ranks and honouring the order of things they weren’t rebellious and did so with humility, meekness and virtue. There is such glory and freedom in submission and when we speak of women in the Bible we must also study their life’s as a whole and not run with it and apply to our own doctrine or what we believe. There is a couple I watch and I noted how when the male preacher does a segment with his wife the two of them stand from the platform and this is how it should be. @@User2345astdidbud Paul was talking in the New Testament, it is for us as much as it was for the church in his day. Paul was very clear about the hierarchy in the church and in marriage however, your ‘interpretation’ of scripture is not uncommon among word of faith, Pentecostals etc. However, it is incorrect. ‘Culture changes but God never changes’?? So does that mean because our ‘culture’ allows abortion, gay marriage, transgender etc, that it is ok? Saying that culture changes is not scriptural - God’s word never changes. God’s word (the Bible) is sufficient.
I am not here to hate, because I was once in Pentecostal churches and believed the false teaching. Thankfully God opened my eyes to the truth and led me to sound biblical teachers in a new church and also on you tube. So I am here to hopefully help others see that what these ladies are teaching is incorrect. That what the word of faith teachers are teaching is incorrect.
