I hope a lot of women can hear your words and understand what God intended. This isn't about pride, It's about what God said in the Bible. I'm a man and I don't feel more important than women because I'm a man; or that men can teach/preach above other men. We all have our roles, and both men and women should work together with our roles, but always follow what God has said 100%.

And boy, do we all need God's truth and wisdom in these crazy times. Thank you for the encouragement. It does take a lot of faith and courage to do this. Thank you April. I like to look at it like this: There are an amazing variety of flowers. Each flower, though different, expresses its beauty in its own unique way. Even in your own mind you react to such flowers as tulips, daisies, petunias, and roses, in a different way. They are all beautiful, but they may cause a different reaction in you based on your personal preferences. We discover God through truth, beauty and goodness. His love is found there as surely as his love is found in all of our hearts. He cherishes us whether we are a daisy, a rose, a petunia, a tulip, and so forth. So, all the members of a family are special in their own way. They display their personality in conjunction with their femininity or their masculinity and their own unique personality, which God himself gives to us each one. When you look at your mate or your children look at them as reflective of the glory of God which is within their own hearts. See them as God sees them, as a special flower, unique in all eternity, a child of God reflecting back the love of God which he first gave us.
Paul Conklin - Yes! God loves variety. And each of us displays His glory in unique, beautiful, wonderful ways, yet in the context of His design. I love this word picture. Thanks so much for sharing!
BS I down voted this BS, no women thinks that women want to be superior. They only want God to not tell women have less value. Why are women told to not talk and have to obey their owners. Some how men are so superior because Paul said women need to live on their knees.
Alun Williams - In the Body of Christ, we have such unity that these differences don't separate us. We have the same value in the Body and to the Lord. Of course, as we take all of Scripture together, we see that God does have some unique purposes for men and women, so we want to take all of His Word into account. Thanks for sharing.
