For those with modded Vitas, update your spoof to 3.74. The new update is just Sony removing the device password generator for ps3 and Vita. PS3 also got the same firmware update. Anybody looking to hack your Vita but haven't got around to it, don't worry, the scene has already updated everything to work with the new firmware.

I've been doing this for years and over more than 10 different firmware updates. Not once has updating the spoof version messed with a single save file.
Was watching videos and it was working for people on 3.74 with hencore2 and I updated and it screwed all my stuff up so I have to go in and redo the whole process now, wasn't worth it haha

there are so many good action games for the vita! gundam breaker, odin sphere, freedom wars, shinobido... also vita is better for action games than psp because of the additional stick and better graphics, traits that dont matter as much on vns and tactical rpgs
The Vanillaware trinity (Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown, and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir) are excellent action games. They are getting obnoxiously expensive though.
Nights of Azure. It's a Japanese only title, but there's an English Patch available making the story enjoyable. Sadly some text gets lost because of the character limit, but only on the longer sentences. Amazing combat in the style of something like Devil May Cry. Go treat yourself.
Aside from the action games, have you seen what new update removes from vita and ps3? 1-You now need device key password to login whether or not you have 2fa enabled 2-Now some of the account management features are removed from those consoles. 3-From now on you cannot create a new account from those consoles.
Warriors all stars is great. The best part of it is affection system. That if you two characters have it their max, you get two adorable conversation. And that's for ALL of the 30 characters (aside Oopuna, and the 3 furries) which gives you so many adorable moments.
Oh yeah I completely forgot about that. I remember I started laughing myself silly when I first activated that special move, makes it more epic too surprisingly. 🤣

i could point at the 3 or 4 senran kagura games you forgot to mention one of. you probably did last time, but like i said there's 3 or 4 of them. also i have the english patch of musou sta-i mean, warriors all stars. it's right beside an app i use to edit livearea bubbles. and i can say, the translation is pretty complete. actually, i used that bubble editor to rename the game from japanese to warriors all stars. it's just so handy for imports...

You should definitely watch/read Attack on Titan, James! It's a really good show/manga with a pretty GODLIKE soundtrack, breathtaking visuals and a great story. That might help you in understand WTF is going on when playing the AoT games. I own and have played the PS4 version of Warriors All Stars and, yeah I was also disappointed the Fatal Frame series wasn't represented there but I'm pretty sure its mechanics wouldn't work in a Musou game anyways ;) Game was also a huge pain in the ass because of the grinding in order to beat the more difficult stages, but it was such a blast to play overall. That being said, I can't talk about Action games on the PSVita without having to mention my guilty pleasure series: the Senran Kagura series. Sorry, but that series is just THAT good and it's a shame we might not see it continue forward after the original creator left his studio to work for Sony (I think?) and that we got no word on SK Seven and the future of the series as a whore... euh whole.
Oh hey definitely no complaints for me here, Senran Kagura is an awesome series that I just can't imagine being a thing without the PS Vita. They go together like bread and butter.
Just to give you some news the vita (and PS3) have had an update it a new sign in for your account you have got to have a computer/mobile to sign into your account and if you put your normal password in it won't work
I wouldn't play some of those games without overclocking the Vita lol but some amazingly stable and great action games are Toukiden Kiwami and Soul Sacrifice Delta. Some of the most fun I've ever had on the system.
If you have it hacked I would just spoof to 3.74, if you don't plan to hack it then I guess you would be okay. From what I'm hearing some people say it doesn't seem like they really fixed anything when it comes to exploits.

Fun abilities, puzzles were easy but enjoyables. I loved Ronin. So I put that one with Jurassic Park, which is such a charming love letter to dinosaurs and the films. I need to try out Kawaii Deathu Desu. Got the playasia physical release still sealed.
It's a fun pick up and play game, just don't expect too much in the way of depth when it comes to its gameplay.
