Thanks Rachel. It's certainly been a test of patience and perseverance taking all the photos. But it's been fun to see it come together and I've learnt so much about how to make a stop motion animation through it.
This is excellent! I've been searching for the right way to communicate about Luther's life to a Sunday school group of pre-k through 6th graders. Without a doubt this is it. Thank you! It is extremely well done and informative.
It was his spiritual, director, fellow Augustinian Johann Staupitz who pointed out the Bible to him……..this forum teaches substutionary atonement, whereas God loves always, before and after sin…….Jesus is God’s love for us!
Today, Nov. 2, is All Souls Day in the Catholic Church, the day we pray for all the poor souls in Purgatory. If we pray for them now they will pray for us when it is our turn.
As a catholic, I'm only sad about HOW Luther did Reformation. Because his actions brought division to catholic church, and "catholic" means "common". But I believe one day we become one church again (Jhn 17,11; 1 Cor 1,13) Bless
Sadly there's not a German version. We were able to translate into Portuguese, Italian, Spanish and French but we couldn't find a German organisation or church that could help with recording the voice over in German. Sorry we've not been able to make it in German this time around. Hopefully for future videos.
You mean the Apocrypha? Even the early Catholic Church agreed those aren't God-inspired. Jerome, for example, identified them as being non-canon. The Roman Church still used them because they believed they were good for teaching.
Lovely video. One correction in 1:32 Actually, the church CAN give forgiveness from God... Luther KEPT this article of faith - It was simply to be done in accordance with the bible, not in accordance with the false doctrines he was dealing with. The Office of the keys y'all! John 20:22!
Great video! We just did a give-away of these Martin Luther figures to celebrate Reformation Day so we'll also be sending this link to the winners. Many thanks from Good News Broadcasting Association.
The full gospel is not included, rendering useless any ministerial goals of this video. No mention of salvation by grace through faith alone, or of repentance from sin. One cannot be made right with God without these. These were critical and foundational points for both Luther and the Reformation as a whole.
Arguably, Luther, Calvin, Zwingli (Protestant reformer of Zurich & German-speaking Switzerland), & Calvin were fathers of the modern western world. Before 1517 the holiest calling one could obey (the people thought) was to be a priest, monk, or nun. But Luther said (e.g.) it was just as holy for a woman to be a wife, mother, or Hausfrau as to be a nun or a deaconess. Les Huguenots de France (followers of Calvin who suffered terrible persecution--e.g., the massacre of St. Bartholomew's Eve, 1572--were largely the haute bourgeoisie (upper middle class, including 1/3 of the nobility) of France. "Honest as a Huguenot' is still the common saying. Thus modern fee enterprise began. Capitalism only became evil & idolatrous when secularism divorced it from its Protestant roots.

Thanks Rachel. It's certainly been a test of patience and perseverance taking all the photos. But it's been fun to see it come together and I've learnt so much about how to make a stop motion animation through it.

Today, Nov. 2, is All Souls Day in the Catholic Church, the day we pray for all the poor souls in Purgatory. If we pray for them now they will pray for us when it is our turn.

Hi Mysty, yes we have quite a few other videos. Check out the videos on our channel and there's more on www.GoChatterVideos.com
A great little video. I trust it receives a wide circulation. The blog post from Tim Challies yesterday should help.
As a catholic, I'm only sad about HOW Luther did Reformation. Because his actions brought division to catholic church, and "catholic" means "common". But I believe one day we become one church again (Jhn 17,11; 1 Cor 1,13) Bless

Hi Neve!!!
I'm raised Lutheran and nowadays an atheist. I must still say that comparing all different Christian views, Lutheran views seem to be the most free
Thanks so much for this. Just right. It's a gift to the church.
Thanks Dave, Glad it'll be useful for churches. It can be downloaded free from www.gochattervideos.com/martin-luther/
Wonderful! Does anyone know if there is a German translation available? Not only subtitle...
Sadly there's not a German version. Sorry we've not been able to make it in German this time around. Hopefully for future videos.
Glad you made this. I want to see more stuff like it.
Cute video, but you left out the part where he took books of the Bible out that taught things he didn’t agree with.

John 20:22!
