Remember that this list only consists of songs that are in Finnish. There are also great songs that are in English but made by Finnish artists or bands.... and because they are in English they also have (some of them have) more views.
To be fair, if you're going to base the list on views that's probably just fair to level the playing field. We are SUCH a tiny slice of the world population. lol
Cheek was the biggest rap artist in finland and maybe even biggest and most popular domestic artist in finland. He retired 2018.
I think the one who made that list is a fan of Cheek, Antti Tuisku and Robin. Makes me want to do a list of my own...😅
Looks to me like he just set language filter to Finnish and looked the stream count and put no further thought into it, far as I can tell.
The things is, u cant really get the vibe of the song from these 2 second clips cuz I know you’d like a lot more of them if you heard more of them
Okay so pretty much every single one of these were pop or hip hop or rap or whatever and I totally respect that. But the real deal about finnish music is metal. You should dig into that 🙌

Yeah, that Top 50 was a very strange one. Really have to wonder how these songs have been chosen, as myself I don't believe in it at all. There simply are too many big songs missing.
PS. And this has nothing to do with language, i.e. only Finnish in this one, although that would have changed everything even more.
What irks me the most of the Finnish music things is that the absolute best Finnish music is never included. This land has, compared to it's size, a huuuuge back catalog of amazing music, and those who make these compilations only take a slice of contemporary music, and music from quite recent times, and present it as "Finnish music"

How can anyone know if a song is good by 2 seconds? That's just not enough time. I think it would be better, if the choruses are played fully 🤔

Metal is the mainstream music in Finland. I recognised only one song from the list you played. I wonder where you picked it!?
Finland has the highest concentration of heavy metal bands in the world. Finland boasts an incredible 70.6 metal bands per 100 thousand inhabitants! In UK 7.8 per 100 thousand. Please dig deeper the real music scenary here.

These lists are always really weird. Some of them are classics and great but most are godawful. For example I hate Cheek and Robin is boring.
Wow, what an exceptionally crap list, almost none of those belongs anywhere near the top 50, maybe not even the top 500 unless you're like 8-15 years old.
So, I don't like these "songs" !
