100k round a track would mentally be more brutal than a 250k round beautful scotland. Physically the 250k will obviously be alot worse. Both are fucking savage. Your a machine fergus 👏🏻🙌🏻
youd be surprised, ive done a 50 mile in the nice countryside by reading and henley. And trust me nature looks great at first, but eventually after 5-6 hours of seeing trees and fields and sun you get fucking sick and tired of it haha.

Great video Fergus, I wish I looked as good after 30k! This may have been asked and answered already but what carb drink are you loading in to your bladder? I'm researching and testing fuelling for the Thames Path 100k and I could do with some alternatives to gels.
It’s a project I’m working on with MyProtein as part of the R&D for! Generally, look for and play around with products that contain carbs and sodium and see what sits best for you!

@@TopTickJack I get tired of the track after my 2k warm Up, running 16k through the fields and some villages doesnt get boring at all.

5k kcal is not too much for your training volume. I train twice a day for six days and I eat at least 4 k kcal so it is correct

They’re from decathlon I believe - best pair I’ve found for running in for sure!
Then you should try race called Spartathlon, in Greece. 246km from Athens to Sparta. Its bit hard to get invited but non the less.
