  • Hey, i’m Caris welcome to my UA-cam channel where I talk about all things tinnitus! 👂🏻
In this video I talk about how tinnitus has changed me and my view on life.
Tinnitus isn't the end of a happy life and i'm here to prove it. I used to blame everything on my tinnitus and since accepting it, my life has changed.
Tinnitus has been a companion of mine for as long as I can remember. I'm now 22 years old and after many rough years with tinnitus, I have now began to live my life happily. My tinnitus hasn't gone away, but my negative response to it has.
When I was struggling to cope, the search to find reliable information was almost impossible. I have made this channel in hope to reach you at a point in your journey where you need it most.
Here i'll share all of my mistakes, management techniques and most importantly, things I wish I knew about tinnitus.
    Thanks for being here!☺️

Hi Caris, thank you for reminding us that tinnitus is a learning challenge to become more stronger, aware and capable of so much more. Love listening to your optimistic approach. Yes, it would be really helpful if you could do a video about the cognitive behavior techniques that worked for you. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this inspiring video!! You make us feel so much less alone. Do you think you could do a video talking about the specific cognitive behavior techniques you used? Or what tools you used to change your mindset? Thank you so much for everything.

Great encouraging message, Caris! Thank you for sharing optimism! Just a message for the group here, I have a friend that had Tinnitus for over 10 years! So loud that his ears would vibrate at times! (Never Heard of that)! Anyway, he now says that he got so used to it, that he never hears it anymore! He said, that he was SOOO fixated on it and it seemed louder and louder! Now He says, had I only calmed down back then, I would have been fine. He doesn't hear it anymore!

I’ve had that vibrating sensation before too! Was after a night out and it felt like my head was vibrating it was that loud. Very strange but interesting to hear a similar experience.
Thank you very much for sharing that story with everyone, I’m sure it will help keep people’s spirits up. There’s so many negative stories online so this is a lovely example of when people overcome their tinnitus! 🙌

Makes perfect sense! Tinnitus makes you stronger and ready for any challenge life might throw at you. It's not easy to get past stage 1/2, but there is hope and what awaits at the end of this journey depends on us! :)

It certainly isn’t easy but it’s completely possible for everyone. I feel like a much stronger person because of how much I’ve learnt when facing challenging times with tinnitus.
Thank you for the positivity 🙌🌟

Hi it’s lovely listening to you. A couple of discussion points when you have time please. Mornings are the hardest time for me, what tools can you recommend to help people like me out. The other is, in one of your talks you said to be the observer, can you please explain in layman’s terms what do you mean. Much appreciated 🙏

Great video. Gives me hope and optimism! How far habituated are you at the moment? Do you still notice the tinnitus sounds during a large part of the day?
