I declutter quite often but this motivated me to go through the house today. 1 bag of things donated to the charity store and already sold 3 items which now pays for my pre order on Friday ☺️
Decluttering videos are so satisfying!! I've been tracking how much I've made off facebook marketplace every month from getting rid of stuff and its so satisfying yet crazy how much stuff we've been hanging on to.
For sentimental stuff (like the marathon shoes or gifts from Matt), the way I determine whether I should keep a thing is to ask if it matters enough to me that I'd display it somewhere in the house. If not and it's just sitting on a shelf, rarely even looked at, I take photos of it and then let it go. (It also helped for me to imagine whatever the item was being important enough to someone else that THEY would display it and appreciate it more than I was.)
I can’t get rid of my dog’s puppy collar either. I decided to hang it on the Christmas tree with his first tag! It’s so cute and little and gives it more of a purpose. 😊 Love watching these kinds of videos!
Love your point about checking what we have before we buy! I definitely need to do that more with groceries because we bought so much quinoa and will be eating it every week for a while 😂
The shoes from the marathon, collars & otter such memories could be beautifully photographed & put into a personalized book use as decor (or e-album)… but that would be a huge consideration with keeping & honoring your cherished memories 💓
Hi there, I’m a new watcher. I wanted to know if you can do a post 1-3 months after decluttering. What you have added, decluttered and how you are managing the space.
Haha, Stella's bandanas -- "She doesn't wear them" and "She does not use them." I love how we talk about our dogs as if our dogs are making the choice, not us. 🤣
You did a really good job being ruthless in this one! I’m the same way with dog stuff, I have a bin of cute collars for my dog but she always only wears the one I keep by the door anyway 😅
With the sentimental running shoes I would take out the laces and make a scooby keyring or something similar. Then you still have the sentiment but not the bulky item. Even when they’re gone you will still have every memory of the marathon, the experience is in your heart, not the item x
I did a daily declutter challenge last month! I got rid of one thing that no longer served me! It could even be a screenshot I took on my phone of a product I’ll never buy
Omg we just had our 3rd kid and our town home is soooooo cluttered. Every Sunday is my cleaning day and I try to just get rid of a box of stuff at a time.
Who is paying $70 for Disney lol I was always a diy type of girl. You can order patches online and iron them on your favorite clothing item or even use favorite paint to stencil the logo. For less than $70
Love that! I don't usually buy many shirts from Disney small businesses because of the cost! Especially since I'm Canadian and the exchange rate is awful right now! But I am a big believer in spending in areas you want to and not being impulsive! So if there is a shirt I want and I think on it for a few weeks I do treat myself occasionally💗
Gosh I LOVE a good declutter, so satisfy
It really is 😍
Yes!!! I’m entering this same era! Thank you for posting this on a Sunday! Perfect motivation during my lunch break to keep going today and declutter!
YAY glad you enjoyed!!

That’s such a great idea! ❤️
i love when you say "why do you need this Carter? get rid of it" LOL! I talk to myself like that too hahaha
Love this declutter video, real, relatable, and motivating!!!
Love your point about checking what we have before we buy! I definitely need to do that more with groceries because we bought so much quinoa and will be eating it every week for a while 😂
Yes we can all take the advice in so many aspects! Groceries, clothes, home decor etc!
The shoes from the marathon, collars & otter such memories could be beautifully photographed & put into a personalized book use as decor (or e-album)… but that would be a huge consideration with keeping & honoring your cherished memories 💓
So true!!!

I love that! I'm not ready to get rid of them yet, but hopefully one day😅
@@CarterSullivan That’s completely fair enough! I still have a box full of sentimental things that I can’t part with 😂
Good job. It’s a good idea to declutter those things which you don’t need anymore for various reasons.
such a great video, really inspiring. love it and well done!!!
Carter whenever you posts a vlog it's makes my day better and better💓😀

Omg I love that idea!!!!
This video was so satisfying to watch 😍 also whyyyyy do i feel like every home has a bag of really f*cking old potatoes 💀
BAHAHAHA RIGHT I swear I always find an old bag of potatoes 😂😂
love the motivation
Dog bandanas, leashes, collars toys, etc are great things to donate to your local animal shelter or rescue group.
Yes thats what I ended up doing😊
quality over quantity... definitely something I struggle with as well. This gave me motivation to get my ass in gear!!
Happy Sunday I enjoy cleaning out things I don’t need
You and I both!
Brilliant motivation thank you 😊 love your grey sweatshirt as well where is it from? 😊
Aerie! I got it in store so not sure of the name🥲
Hi Carter good morning happy Sunday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
wait because why did I need this video ❤
Hope you enjoy it!!!
Omg we just had our 3rd kid and our town home is soooooo cluttered. Every Sunday is my cleaning day and I try to just get rid of a box of stuff at a time.

“Let’s just remove that” 🤣
😂😂🥹
Omg, you look just like my daughter! Beautiful 🌸
yes im trying to declutter too,
im never going to be a “minimalist”, but im def trying to minimize
I feel the same!!
Great tips and ideas!
loved this❤
GIRL 100% - you and I BOTH know we will never wear that shirt again
At least we're honest with ourselves 😂
@@CarterSullivan however if we're being honest, the photos are going to be incredible so, worth it
ANEN ! On the on the quality versus quantity ! I did the same thing with shoes . 🙂
Yes!! I'm that way with shoes- I'd rather have a few REALLY GOOD quality pairs then cheap-y ones that break quickly!
@@CarterSullivan ❤️
How did your boyfriend like your reorganization?
14:46 I’m new here and I would have enjoyed that closet declutter.
I have 1 declutter videos solely dedicated to closet declutter but truthfully i don't buy many clothes so I don't declutter it often!
💛💛💛💛💛💛

In the kitchen scenes either she's realöy tall or the kitchen is unusually smaöl😮
I'm 5'11 so I'm going to go with I'm just tall haha we have a normal sized kitchen
@@CarterSullivan that must be it then haha🤣
Declutter
You lost me with the F-bomb! 😟
Sorry I swear it's just who I am😅
