Importing a Jimny to the UK

Are you thinking of getting a Japanese Import? I take a look at a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) car and talk about the processes around it.

Are there any problems getting insurance for imported Jimnys into the UK? Also, do you have any idea what the total cost would be to buy the Jimny for a UK customer, let's say the top of the range Jimny, the version with all the extras fitted ?

Can they get the dash display to show english?

@@davidnorton5887 we believe there are a number of options but the feeling is that it is not worth it. The major alerts are in English anyway.

I fitted that head unit but can't get the nav to work and the radio has awful sound. Does anyone know an outfit that can sort it out for me please? I'm thinking a sub as well. I'm in Cheshire.
