Thank you for this video - it really opened things up for me. Loving BOC vibes. You video got me to spend more time shaping sounds in synth engine. Thank you.
7:30 in both the human and monkey FINGER sequencers (synth and drum) you can press the right and left arrow keys nt he left bottom of the FIELD. I thought this would transpose the pitch of the notes, but it doesn't. But pressing these adds "+1, +2, +3, +4" etc. You can see the +4 on his display. What does this do? thanks
@@Digiphex Cool, love the melody. The sequencer seems really creative & inspiring, gonna have to look at some software for these sorts of creative moments, regular piano roll / playing can feel too pre-conceived at times. Can't justify the outlay for the OP-1 field though.

You will love it, it gives you that creative spark. And the analog tape sim is amazing.

@@maecknyc I've waited for like a week or so and received it - and it's awesome :D
Looking forward to my OP1 field coming in. Sounds like Boards of Canada

Awesome explanation. Just got mine and looks awesome and complex
Thanks for the vid. Mother reverb sounds very good on that Sh-101 patch.
Such a great demo , can you show how to create a song with the different sequencers?

Great tutorial! What are you processing this with to get that warbly Boards vibe?
“Color” ffor Max for Live
Ochre encoder. Thanks for making this video
Hey thx for the video! One question: I didn't understand the part about "adding rests" in endless mode using the arrow. Can you elaborate? Thx!
Note press adds a step, arrow adds a rest.
Sound like Bords of canada ❤😊
Thanks for the tutorial! It seemed like when you had the audio output connected it was pretty noisy. Is that just normal for the device?
No it is dead quiet. I had some vintage FX that had the hiss still turned on.
Cool. How did you make your opening titles?
Final Cut Pro allows you to rotate jpg and make trails and animations.
The opening music? Is it yours, I'd love to hear the full version
Yes, it is just something I did to demo the sequencer. It is inspired by Boards of Canada Happy Cycling.

Can you input notes on Endless with MIDI? I tested it and failed.
I'll try that. I noticed that you can't get an octave with it so it is a bit more limited in that sense than I had thought.
I tried MIDI, no it does not.
@@Digiphex Right. That seems like a bug more than a feature tbh.
sounding low energy bro. drink some red bull
That's why your brain is fried, too much sucralose.
