I agree Kevin, main ride is too large of a group ride. It’s why I always ride with Jason Allen! Sometimes may be way off the beaten trail, but always a set number of people and high pace!
Hey Kevin, Me and the Wife got both two 310X, but we added all the perks of the LX had it for a year and we put over 50 hours on them no issues. One thing we would like to improve is where to put the GoPro for better videos angle, I saw in your video that you had one place on top of the front compartment/Hood, would you mind sharing the adapter that hold the camera securely. Thanks in advance.
Hey Kevin, I saw one of your old posts on your GPR intake grate inserts. How much heat do you need to loosen that green panel bond glue? I have to replace a ride plate insert bracket and I'm trying to avoid damaging the hull.
Great video! How can I view your lives? Want to ask you a question…. I have two 97 Yamaha wave venture 700s and am looking to purchase pwc’s with a more power but not supercharged. Have only been on two stroke skis. These and a polaris. I am not brand bias what is one that gives good value, looking no more than like 17k per unit. Have considered something in the vx line unsure of sea doo and Kawasaki. Want to learn more about those brands and their comps
Hi Kevin. I'm looking at a 2023 Ultra 160LX with 15 hours. If I don't see any red flags before, I will request a short water test before moving forward. Is there something I should be careful, aware or double checking before buying this jet ski?. Also, if you're buying from someone you don't know, what is the usual process? take it to a dealer for an inspection? Thank you
There is no official route, as its a labyrinth of natural trails. You'll have to plan accordingly prior to venturing out with a group. But yes, there are some spots to refuel depending on where you go.
This is an actual issue that you may want to have a dealer look at. JD's Waterworld went into further detail on the electrical issues happening with '22 and '23 models.
@@watercraftjournal 2023 STX-160LX. And the engine hours aren’t tracking on the dashboard either so I’m going by my maintenance log and writing down trip time after every ride
Great weather for the trip that's for sure!!! 👍🏼
Nice Video, Glad to have met you in person. Hope to see you next time for the revamped Mudbugs
Great content Kevin, that’s for sharing. Glad y’all were able to join us for a few days. Till we ride again!
Billy D
Glad we could make it! Looking forward to next year, and yeah, it’s always fun riding with you, Billy D!
Awesome video really enjoyed it thank you for sharing

Riding with Jason is always fun as long as there's enough water under your hull.
Looks fun man. I'm also an X Glamis rider. Lol i now live in Baker Florida for the last couple of years.
Well, maybe we can get you down here for Mudbug next year!
awesome 🤩
Looks like a good time
It was!

Hi Kevin. In rough water what is more comparable to Kawasaki Ultra's hull behavior, a Yamaha FX or a Yamaha GP?

Really hoping to join y'all next year. Let me ask, are there plenty of fuel stops on the main route? I use a 18 rxtx with no external fuel

My fuel gauge is currently reading 2 out of 8 bars of fuel (1/4 tank) no matter how full my tank is 😅
