@@smee8721 yeah thats good. But i think ducati are still ahead. They haven't optimized their 22 engine. Honda might be sandbagging or their riders need time to adapt. But whatever happens, the inline engines have a very tough season ahead, thats for sure

All of the comments make me wonder just how many of them are actual fans and how many are making some effort to cover up the controversy behind its construction.
@@StarkRaven59 Yeah, I read some articles around the Internet stating that the UN had criticized the project because the local residents around the Mandalika area were getting evicted from their homes because of the circuit's construction.
Nevertheless, I felt that the Indonesians are focused more on their country finally hosting a MotoGP race for the first time in 25 years than the controversy behind the circuit's construction, because after all MotoGP is insanely popular in Indonesia.

The Beast is coming
Of course factories are testing there and not competing. They are testing new and old parts in all areas of the motorbike plus ECU software. Therefore lap times and results are not indicative to individual rider/bike performance.
In my opinion, Indonesia will be closer to the true potential of the bikes due to the fact that factories will implement the changes they collected in Malaysia.
Anyway it is amazing watching them back on their bikes.
Can't imagine what a thrill it must be to ride a MotoGP bikes. IT'S a ROCKET

@@markjones464 them Pirelli tire are awesome I'd run down the hwy in 2" of water pouring rain semi truck's shooting water falls out the fenders at 70 75mph no slip no wobble no worries get home pour out the riding boots and wrung out my leathers pop them in the dryer to shrink them back up for the next day. I sold the truck and bought a Honda cbr rode it all the time rain or sun or ice 5 years no car or truck just the rocket. I miss it

I'm disappointed at KTM's performance
They took the testing seriously, trying out all new parts and aero packages.Also have different policy they are improving and fine tuning the efficiency of last year machine instead of implementing the 2022 bike.
These are the same principles followed by Mercedes benz amg f1 back in 2010s,after all the mad experiments they are invincible and untouchable in turbo hybrid era❤️

I’m a huge ktm fan but this was just a test and tune not qualifying I’m sure if they bring any of the energy they brought to the table last season we’re in for a treat

Don't take "testing" too seriously, afterall they (the manufacturer) will change the bike parts after the testing.

Yamaha and KTM just don't make any sense. Yamaha knew all the other factories would up their game yet from Fabio's words the M1 is relatively the same bike as last year. Yamaha's leadership group needs to be fired for sitting on their asses due to Fabio winning the championship in 2021. Fabio would be crazy to stay with them after this year unless they make him the highest paid rider in all of MotoGP. KTM is still unable or unwilling to bring in the underseat mass damper which is now on all the other V4's on the grid. Just look at how dead stable the Honda is through the corners compared to last year.

Those bikes with limits are showing their best lap but now those Honda and Yamaha who doesn’t have limit have more chance of podium when riders will be used to it.
I hope Honda can make the bike rideable for all it's riders and not continue on this marquez 213v path.
