Easier math I found. Subtract donated fp's from total FP, then subtract the highest contributor (not owner). Divide that number for what you need to donate. 2 subtractions and one division compared to 1 subtraction, 2 divisions and 1 addition. I found this way much easier when I started sniping.

Great videos. I started playing FoE last month. The middle of the fall event. I've get a lvl 2 arc, zeus, CoA, LoA, CdM. Got all blueprints for Traz, HS, and others. I've learned a lot from your videos, FoEHints and FoElite. :) I've noticed this game isn't much of a rush-rush-rush game. Kinda drives me batty. I just begin hood snipping and I'm in EMA. Definately need more FP production. Ideally, would love to make 50 FP from buildings. But that'll take time. It looks like it'll be worth my while to invest in leveling up my arc a lot higher to get more contribute rewards. But it'll also sacrifice my attack boost. Which I struggle with a lot in GE. I get mid point of lvl 2 GE and hit a wall with those two camps buildings. Mostly, I try negotiating my way through, but I don't make enough goods. I believe my EMA goods production needs to be unlocked which is next. I'm trying a trick where you only research two military buildings which will make GE easier. Hopefully easier. So the main question is, when I do get my FP packs, do i invest in more attack boosts or arc? I do see the benefits of doing more leveling in the arc. But also, I kinda would like my attack boost to get over 100%. My guild said that I may need to get attack boost past 150% without having much issues. What are some of your thoughts?
Well hello! Super nice to meet you! I am so glad that you are enjoying the game and that my videos are helpful! This game is definitely not a rush game, by any means. You get fp packets from earning spots 1-5 rewards on other players' great buildings. You can also earn them from main/side/recurring quests. The Arc helps boost the about of fps you earn when taking a spot and thus earning the reward. It also helps with leveling your own GBs faster and more efficiently if your guild has a 1.9 thread. I use my CF in order to generate the goods that I need, I have several videos in regards to the CF. To be completely honest with you, the Arc and the CF are the most important GBs in game, if utilized correctly. In my baby world, in H, I actually only have a 71% attack because my focus has been on Arc leveling. I am able to complete all 4 difficulties of GE with a CF level 9. If your focus is on attack, you want to bring your Trinity to level 10 (Zeus, CoA, CDM).
Hey Liliana, enjoying the videos! Been playing FoE for about 3 years as well, but still learn a thing or two from your videos. In regards to this video, one thing that has greatly helped me with sniping (& definitely agree with your opening statements about not sniping guildies & being kind to your friend's list) is the FoE helper extension for Google Chrome. It's made a huge difference in the amount of people I'm able to snipe. Basically it takes all the guess work & math out of it, so I can "scroll" through my hood quicker & see who I can get fps profit from (& I can easily adjust the amount I want to contribute if I want to contribute 1.8, 1.85, 1.9, or whatever amount I choose & still lock in as well as see if I will make a profit or not). I normally play on mobile like you do, but have started playing more on a pc so I can take advantage of the FoE Helper extension. If you haven't heard about yet, you should definitely check it out. in my case as a newbie FOE Helper just confused me much more :D when you start you should do that maths/thinking yourself to understand it in the full picture. At least that's what I think.
@@EagleEye666666 they have changed how the FOE Helper works regarding sniping. Inno Games didn't like some of what FOE Helper offered and made them change some of it. And yes, I would agree, it can be a little daunting at first and especially with some of the changes, it takes some getting used to. Once you figure it out though, it is very useful. I mainly use the FOE Helper these days (since the changes), to get my guild mates locked in at the correct amount for my own GBs.
The problem with this, is that you need to have a level 80 arc to stand a chance of making any types of profit. And to get to level 80 you need an immense amount of forge points. Which will take like a year
It definitely takes time, there are less sniping opportunities if your Arc is smaller but it is possible. I was sniping way before the Arc even existed but yes it took me a long time to build my forge points.
To calculate the total forge points left just type in 99999. FOE will automatically change your input to the max available. Then adjust your input to what you want to contribute. Note - be careful not to contribute the max by accident.

do you have any recommendations for people with lower level arcs (mine is at level six, for reference) ? the whole reason im looking to get into sniping is to start leveling mine in 1.x threads but i only have a small stash of 230 fps. any suggestions would help!! x
I'm trying to do this method right now, but I must be missing something. My Arc is currently a lvl 41. I have done the math on sniping SEVERAL other arcs, and have found that no matter how big or small the other persons arc is, I will not make a profit if I try to lock in ANY of their slots. Instead, I would lose a great deal of fp's. For example....im looking at a lvl 9 arc right now that requires 970 points to level. It currently has 590 points on it. All the slots (1-5) are taken, but i want to take the first spot which currently has 170 points on it. By your direction, I need to donate 275 fps to lock that spot. However, when you add the P1 reward with the bonus, its only 110 reward, plus 67 from the arc bonus....... What do I need to do in order to begin making a profit?
Not all buildings are snipeable. Only those where you make a profit are. So right now you are looking at a building that wouldn't benefit you so you need to look elsewhere. Find a building where someone has way over donated and then you can take a top spot that costs you less than your Arc bonus vs. above. I hope that makes sense. ❤️
Hey Liliana, when you are looking at the rewards you are adding the regular reward and something else that5 looks like a piggy bank?? I don't know what that is. Can you explain the other reward? Thanks.
Yes!! I do plan on making a video about it but that piggy bank reward comes from The Arc great building. When players talk about 1.8/1.85/1.9 threads, they are factoring in that little piggy bank reward into the thread. The Arc is essential for faster leveling! Hope that helps in the meantime until I get the video up.
If the player is self donating in order to utilize the 1.9 thread then they are utilizing the most cost effective and efficient way to level in the game. If they are truly self-leveling 100% then they unfortunately are missing out and some of them are lost causes that I have tried to reach, others I can convert to 1.9 but some just continue to self level. 🙍♀️
do you ever contact folks like that "Weaz the Wonderful" to let them know they're missing out? And that they could get those lower spots filled at a higher rate

Now having a lvl 60 ARC I'm making a lot of FP snipping ppl! But it's tough with the support chainers! And then when is like, you see it's not ripe for snipping! And when you check again gahhh it's been leveled but I made 321 FP yesterday! Hah, ARC Is grooving outta sight
Great Question! I normally check out the hood day one and I place 1 fp on possible snipes and see if those increase meaning the owner is active... Another option is to check their activity on FoE scoreboard... It's a website. I should make a video about how I use it!
I would wait until first is taken, it's hard to calculate second if first is not in and you could be introducing some to then snipe you from sniping a good position, if that makes sense.

Are you talking about GBG or GVG? If GBG, FoE Helper will help you identify individual players that are hitting during a given time period. If GVG, you must catch the guild laying seige at the time it is happening or if a guild makes a mistake and lands on the map later on in the day then their past actions will display in the event log. I hope I clarified what your asking, if not let me know. 😄
But I don't call it snipping unless I knock others down a spot that they put a lot down And loss lots of FP's if I kick them down LOL some just about flip their own GB and all the spots are open
Any player can be sniped, big or small. It is stealing if that player doesn't learn how to protect their GBs and get into a guild with a 1.9 thread. That's why I make videos to hopefully educate players on how to protect their investments. If they refuse, when opportunities are given, then it's ignorance, laziness, or lack of care.
Do you check if the players your sniping are still active, if their not then you wouldn`t get your fp back. If their on your friends list then you could finish the GB yourself later, at a lost. if they are in the hood and it changes the fp could be lost forever.
I do check on FOE Stats and FOE Scoreboard if players are active before I drop large amounts of fps on a snipe. I have had to finish off gbs before of players that have become inactive. Once your fps are on a players gb, you can still access that players GB after hood change, you just have to go to your GB forge point investment log. And you can add from there. The only reason why you couldn't would be if the players has disconnected their GBs from the town hall.
Hood change is normally every 2 weeks but during events you can get stuck in a hood for longer. They rotate so that you can befriend and work with or against other players. 🤩
It's okay! I justed started a baby world and am hopefully going to do a comparison video on sniping without an Arc! Granted you don't make as many fps but you still can cushion your inventory and get much needed bps!

The main thing for snipping is to get in high level guild (for daily forge points), but to search in GB rankins and add to friend list people who are contributing to themselves. I have started playing during super bowl event, so I kinda lucked out because I got max event building and also max pillar of the heroes during that event, so that is an extra 11 daily FPs. P.S. I watched all of your videos yesterday. Loved them, great job!

So essentially the 1.9 system of leveling is like a library book borrowing program. You are borrowing a set amount of forge points from 5 donors and then you give them back their points when the GB levels and in return you only need to self donate the difference their fps don't cover... It's like one big coupon!
It depends. Most of the ones in this video are not but some are close to a 1.9. As long as it's even 1.89, I make profit with a level 80 Arc. I hope this helps. You are also able to do this without an Arc. I have a video coming to show the comparison.

It is an efficient way to level GBs, I highly suggest finding a guild that has a 1.9 thread. I have videos on 1.9 threads. 🥰

How do you tell if a player has been playing regularly? The gb could have been that way for a while.

You're contributing to someones GB. How is that stealing?

Formula stays the same regardless of any other factor(s).
It depends upon the opportunity, the snipe can change at anytime but your Arc bonus remains constant. 🤩

can you explain the 1.9 concept?
So essentially the 1.9 system of leveling is like a library book borrowing program. You are borrowing a set amount of forge points from 5 donors and then you give them back their points when the GB levels and in return you only need to self donate the difference their fps don't cover... It's like one big coupon!

What you are doing isn't a 1.9 contribution. Right?
It depends. Most of the ones in this video are not but some are close to a 1.9. As long as it's even 1.89, I make profit with a level 80 Arc. I hope this helps. You are also able to do this without an Arc. I have a video coming to show the comparison.
