I was in High School in 1970. ZZ TOP came to the Abilene Civic center for a one night performance. I just knew they were gonna be special. Still listening to them today.
This is a cover band. The choreography is clumsy and fake. Dusty Hill must be getting a chuckle out of this. They really need to call this what it is, 'The Billy Gibbons Band' - Must Tour No Matter What! RIP ZZ Top! Those were some incredible days
@@Pinkpalmpuff332 I saw them live in '22 with Elwood and they kicked ass. These guys are getting older every day. It's been over 50 years. Stop hating and grow up. You should be glad they're even still up there putting on a show.
Saw this same show April 4th in Biloxi, MS. With Blackstone Cherry and Skynyrd. My wife's first time seeing Skynyrd and Top. Great night of great music. Thanks for posting.
Taking my ZZ Top mad Grandson ( 13 years old) over to Long Island from the UK in 8 days time to go to the ZZ Top/Lynard Skynard concert. We're both so excited. followed ZZ Top for years but this is the first live concert. Keep rocking ✌🏻🤟🏻🤘🏻
@@KeithSpinneyMusicHe was playing the heavy 16 string bass only during the opening song. Wise choice, whole concert with that monster could have been too much.
Although he's used them to great effect in the studio (including on Apologies to Pearly and the Tejas album), I've never seen Billy play a Strat live. This was a real treat! Thank you!
When I went to one of their concert in Paris, there was a line of impeccable sexy dancing girls behind them. The contrast with these 3 great and serious musicians was hilarious. Great Texas humor? Such a good memory...
He's been singing the same songs for 40+ years he's got them down. also zz top is not hard to sing its not opera. third note is hes doing little yells and words that would be very hard to lipsink
Today Bonn Germany! But before we gonna make a big barbecue in my parents house with the guys who joined the ZZTOP concerts from 1985 onwards, welcome Elwood, but remembering Dusty Hill too. Excited to join the concert tomorrow. 😊
I've never seen them in concert.I wish I had been given the opportunity. They are truly one of the greatest groups to grace the stage. Thank you so much for sharing.
You better have a good pair of legs (no pun intended, but why not lol) cause NOBODY sits down for ZZ Top shows. Well, at least in Kentucky. That crowd was up all night, singing, dancing, you name it. They also chose the prettiest venue, the Louisville Palace. I almost want to say that was the best concert I have been to (apart from Joe Satriani, whom I had seen literally 6 months before seeing them in April, he was amazing as well!).
You are peace and joy everything that you want will come to you in that perfect time united world marketing Inc is the property of their respective owners go ZZ top go world 🌎
Wonder how much SHAMPOO IT TAKES TO KEEP ELWOOD'S FUNGUS CLEAN😮😂😂 BOY IS HE COVERED IN IT!! And it's amazing that billy can still sing legs as good as he did years ago!! Also don't you know the tips of his fingers on the left hand,, are probably as tough as leather by now!! He's way past blisters and calluses!! I bet he could pick up a piece of red hot charcoal with those fingers and roll it like dice!!😮

I'm all for extended range instruments, I play a six string bass, and I love Tony Levin but I'm not so sure in this context. I love big bass and drums though. Ill look for a better recording of this before I say for sure one way or another. I've loved ZZ since the early 70s always will be one of my faves.
Not the same without dusty, but we have someone who is still part of the heart and soul of zz top. Pretty sure dusty wanted him to be in the band if he died. Similar thing to acdc and malcolm young, yes stevie young isnt mal but he is still a young.

It's not easy to follow in the footsteps of Dusty Hill (R.I.P), but my respect to Elwood Francis, great job!
Hats off to the "NEW GUY"! THANKS for keeping an American legend Rockin
Damn Elwood nails it with his play and hair. So damn good. A absolute worthy man

Dusty can't be replaced, but he didn't want the band to end because he passed. It's a living tribute to him
I’ve been listening to ZZ Top from the beginning and still rocking it 💯
Dusty is still missin`, his bass, his voice, his presence and appearance. R.I.P.
Je je,tako je,nedostaje Dusty,počivao u miru Božjem,ali mora se priznat da je i Francis E.,dobar,pa ne bi Billy i Frank "uzeli" trubu❤😢😊
Yep, just not the same without him. I’m glad I saw them ALL TOGETHER at USAA’s Christmas party in San Antonio, TX about 7-8 years ago!
Ich finde es bewundernswert in dem Alter auf die Bühne zu gehen und das Publikum immer noch mitreißen zu können. Das ist eben (ZZ)Top!!!😊👍🏻👍🏻
Have aged as fine wine...Billy is one of the finest bluesrock guitarists/writers in the world, with one of the most distinctive sounds (and vocals).
Still weird hearing Billy sing Under Pressure by himself. RIP Dusty.
