Even if %80 of Dasher get to %70 you only have priority over %30 of others...

There is no way I could do this. The amount money that I would not have and all the miles and my attitude of working for free would piss me off. Lol

Girl I am telling u u should do it I take every order and finally got platinum status I worked my entire shift and did not get one bad order I made $80 for 4hrs and every delivery was 1-2 mile away and I had 1 9 mile and 1 15 mile

My market is only using Dashers with a high acceptance rate if you drop below 70 percent you can barely dash and you can’t even schedule a Dash😮I think people are cutting back because of inflation

Dashing hourly got my AR from 50 to 83 with no pain. However, 83 hasn't given me much advantage.

You have 13% to play with is your advantage, dashing now as well is really good if you know pockets of stores that stay busy even when the map is grey. And to be busy when it is slow for everyone else at least in phx market

There is no benefit to platinum if most dashers are. Its just DD way to get all the trash delivered.

I like shop and deliver orders for one reason, my car engine is turned off the entire time im shopping, not wasting gas.

Yep that’s exactly why I do shop and deliver orders mainly is less miles and higher paying trips. You have to do a little bit more work that’s no lie, but I’m averaging half the miles I used to and making at least the same amount gross pay

I get that, they still have to send you lower mileage/higher pay offers though, same with restaurant. Of course my engine is off when parked and waiting at the restaurant so it still comes down to which offer type sends better margined offers.

I accepted a 22.50 order from smokey bones yesterday that was going 4 miles, so I drop it off and it ends up being 45 bucks with a 10 cash tip on top of it, that was my best order ever
It's really not worth it. You rarely get catering orders that make sense. You will literally see $5 catering orders, lol. They will little Ceasar you to death and you'll be forced to take those. Only perk is Dash anytime and peak pay during holidays.
Good luck dear. I got mine over 70%. I didn’t notice anything but I’m in an area it seems like Uber gets really busy and it’s hard to get a scheduled time to do DoorDash. That’s actually busy it’s a suburb of land it’s a busy area but for some reason DoorDash is slow.

Every day they check if you have 100 orders. If tomorrow you wake up with 90 orders, you are no longer platinum. It is terrible to have 100 orders in the last 30 days.
Good point, the ratings are on a rolling basis but so is the delivery count so that kinda forces you to drive pretty consistently
@@YourDriverMike That's right, with this dasher rewards program they try to control the drivers since the metrics must be maintained from order to order if you don't lose your privileges, a total imposition, you definitely have to do multiapp, thanks for answering, I follow you a lot and I learn a lot from your channel 👍🙏

You're going to have to do a ton more dashes to get to 50 or 70%. If you only do 6 per video, you'll need to do all orders for the next couple weeks. It's not like you complete 6 in a row and the AR goes up 6%, you can do 6 in a row and not gain a single AR point, because it's a rolling 100. You'll need to really put some time in and miles on to get to 70%!
I was thinking about the numbers, yes as mentioned I have to have a lot of declines that I will need to roll off but then it should start scaling more rapidly. I started at 27% AR, first level is 50. 70 will certainly take some time.

I started today and did 5 orders. Now to get my welcome gift and visa. It was too easy in the city but couldn't get anything where I am. It's gonna be scheduling here but it's all good so far. Liked it. Thanks fot the tips man.
What is the need for early access scheduling when you can dash anytime, how’s that a reward when if you’re a platinum, you can dash anytime.
It keeps other drivers off the road during the times you scheduled. That’s a spot that a dasher who doesn’t have dash anytime can’t sign up for. For example if there’s 10 available spots for that particular time, if you don’t schedule before hand then 10 other drivers show up, now you “dash now” because you can, and now there’s 11. Now it’s over saturated for that time and market (according to DD’s data). If you scheduled before hand then only 10 people can sign in
High paying order is $4.00 to DD..... just saying. (YMMV)

My area is so bad that it’s never busy since the new program rolled out 3/5. Pretty ridiculous.
i been platinum since the swap and i do get maybe 4 to 5 "good" orders a day but then im swamped with the usual bucket of yuck
Having to go mop up mode (aka hourly) next few days myself, i can tell doordash just put out a new batch of drivers. AR tanked last few days, and yesterday during lunch went half an hour between 1st and 2nd orders. Figuring a steady stream of mostly crap orders is better than no stream of good orders until the newest batch of drivers thins out as their AR goes down and they run out of their initial priority

Little "game" i played with myself when i had to bump my AR back up...minimum 39 orders to go...oh it went up 1....minimum 38 to go... doordasher version of 99 bottles of beer on the wall
Do no tip orders.. they increase faster your AR. It sucks but it is what it is
I do shipt and had a recent Walgreens order that wanted hydration sticks. I found three spots with them including supplements and they didn't have them. Went and looked in the baby section and they had it with the Pedialyte even though it didn't say anything about babies on it.

It would be super easy to raise the a.r. if you just dont look at how much money your making, assume it is all bad offers, and just drive like a robot, get through 100 deliveries as quick as you can. just go go go

Pay attention to the last 100 orders in the last 30 days, with each passing day the orders from 30 days ago are deleted the next day, unfortunate

Hey Mike, thanks for your channel, and what you do. I'm in Morristown,TN and have been in this program for a while. When my AR drops below 70 I do "Earn by Time" and just accept all of them. Won't be huge pay day but you're not wasting time. Plus NO shop and delivers.

I’m not gonna say that shop and deliver is for everyone, but just like anything else the more you do some of these stores like Walgreens in Aldi the more you just know where stuff is even the more obscure things. But it does take time to get to that point to know the store that well.
Again, I don’t think it’s for everyone and it really doesn’t need to be a primary focus, but for me, it’s what I make the most consistent money by far doing, plus I drive like half the miles for the same gross pay.
I have about a 25 mile commute to and from my normal job. Coming home from work I use the Dash on the Way function to get to my home zone. Some of these trips have horrible dollars to mile ratios but you're still getting paid to drive toward home. That is what keeps my acceptance rate high.
They make up all kinds of award incentives to get drivers to take all those Azz Orders. 😂😂
Yep and short of you having no other income, these don't make any sense over cherry picking. 'No tip, no trip, and never take crappy orders.'

They just lowered the referral incentive a hundred bucks from 250. 150 now in my area
I’m on the east side of PA north of Philly. From the start we had the platinum dasher here so I accepted everything until I got to 70% and just kept it above. I just take the good orders and decline the few crap ones they send. I also learned quickly in this market shop and delivers suck so I turned it off the first week. There’s enough food deliveries and random car parts orders to deliver.
I have a question, since we know the closest to the store , the more likely you will get an order from that store , but what if 2 platinum dashers that are closest and at the same position from the store , how the order gonna prioritize to which platinum dasher ?
I really am looking forward to seeing how this goes once you hit platinum status and if it will be any different. Anytime I’ve been over 70% and hit top dasher in the past it seems like I get better offers overall for a few days, maybe a week…but eventually I get the buzz saw I call AR control where I get like 20 very low paying/high mileage orders in a row that ruins my AR. Feel like it will be impossible to maintain, but maybe (hopefully) I’ll be wrong

When is this coming to Minneapolis? I want access to the catering program. I’ve been Dashing for one full year and my acceptance rate has never been below 75%. I’ve never gotten an invite for catering orders and I can’t find a place to signify I have a catering bag. I have a pretty good market that I know really well. In active dash time I’m typically $30-$35 an hour. On total dash time typically $25-$30.
It is true that it's not uncommon to have to wait at a restaurant, but are you on a timer at a restaurant. Because there's a timer on the screen when shopping.
I'm in the Youngstown, Ohio and Boardman, Ohio area and the majority of the time all you would get is $1.00 Peak Pay. Sometimes you might get $2.00 or $3.00 Peak but at weird times.
I was already platinum before they rolled out this new program, it’s never been a problem keeping the acceptance rate over 70 in my zone. Most of the orders I receive are worth accepting, so turning down the ones that aren’t doesn’t lower my acceptance rate below the threshold
Hello have u noticed that on stacked orders u only get 1 base pay for the 2 orders. On the app it says base pay is PER ORDER but one does not get that. It is the same language as on PEAK PAY ( peak pay is PER ORDER ). Any opinions on that...?
Hi Mike, I drive in the NYC market and I'm gold and I haven't seen a difference in offers and payouts. It feels like it's worse than before.
I started dashing. Im taking more orders than i should bc im not gojng super long. Bc im new im just trying to figure it out. Today i took a 5 dollar order to a school. Gps took me to entrance. I cant go in the school. Both kids said leave outside so i put it on a bench by the entrance and left. Took a pic. To complete order. Then i stopped dashing. 1 person said it was stolen the other asked what bench but i didnt see messages immediately cuz i left and turned the app off. Am i gonna get penalized? Obviously not gonna accept an order there again, and Obviously 5 dollars don't really care about. Just curious if i get penalized
Seious qestion. Ive been doing this for a month. I have 400 deliveries, 83% AR, 99.98% completion rate and 4.98 customer rating. But for some reason i still havent got my dash anytime back once i got over 200 deliveries. What should i do? Ive searched online help but it never pops up
I don’t have this program in my market but the couple times I try to raise my AR I just can’t seem to get past 40%
One other thing to consider. If you're market is hitting big peak pay, and you're NOT getting priority, the ones with priority might be completely killing it, since a large number of orders are going to be in the diamond 2plus per mile category. It might be crazy busy but you're not seeing it until you get to the 70.

Does new program readjust every day or just Mondays? Don't have it here yet, so don't know. If it's just Mondays make sure you keep it until Monday
Everyday. I hit Platinum at 11:04PM then lost the status when i ended at 12:15AM. So I had Platinum literally for 1 hour. It’s a waste of time, and gas money to maintain Platinum.
This will never be as effective as just multi apping with UberEats. I work the same city, and I've found that starting near Bethel Park and staying between Bethel, Upper St Clair, Mt Lebanon, and Carnegie to be effective.
I’m in a good market. Platinum driver too. So far not much difference since the change.
Well yesterday I received a Costco shop and deliver for two homes for $18 it was about 8 Mi away I ended up spending 2 hours and a half on this ordeal no employees knew where the stuff was because they changed everything the night before and the client gave me a dollar tip
I've noticed I've gotten alot of hidden tip orders lately and my AR is 11%
So far it feels like Platinum status really makes a big difference. I was stuck at 65 AR and it took a couple of weeks to get it back to 70 dashing a few hours a day.

Make sure you have a catering bag ready since they'll want a picture.
It's hard to raise the acceptance rate when they keep offering me single digit pay for double digit miles.
I've been to San Diego visiting family a few times. Drivers are really aggressive. Worse than LA. But, the city is really cool. It has its bad parts like all other cities but its a really great place to live IF you can afford it.
Do you have earn by time? They never send me shopping orders by time.

Yo WTF I get on the app for 2 1/2 hrs and I barely get 2 orders in LA. The Weho area.
I e-bike in the Portland (Oregon) area. I’ve been keeping a 90%+ acceptance rate for the few months I’ve been doing this and before the switch, I was struggling to get $15 an hour at best without outside help, and downtime wasn’t guaranteed, but I have sat around for a bit a good number of times. Now, I was automatically placed in gold, and after 3 shifts and 10-11 hours of online time, I’ve noticed that I have been getting more orders to the point where I have little to no downtime and I’ve been getting $15-20+ per hour of online time. I certainly feel better with the switch, and with only 30 deliveries in the past 30 days I might be able to get to platinum by next weekend if I work hard.
You need 100 deliverys to have dash now in the lat 30 days

I am not a fan of the new program. Now there's super stacked orders in the large order program. Declined one offer and lost 10% acceptance rate (there was literally no way I could have done it in my car) and now I'm getting trash. Of course DD is no help.

I got to 70 had to buy a catering bag send them pictures of the bag they sent a email back saying they don’t need more dashers on the big order program did all of that for noting 😂
Hi Mike - tried to find an email address for you so I could send you screenshots. Recently my area (an hour outside of Portland OR) was giving $1500 incentive for referrals and offering a crazy amount for peak pay ($3 - we rarely get even $1), so I figured they were short drivers (it has sucked since they dropped our base pay to $2 last Nov. Yesterday the referral incentive was $250, today it’s $150. Not that I’d ever refer anyone 😅 - just to give you an idea. Now on my screen I see estimates for my next order (ie. 3-7 minutes or MORE). Not getting that many orders (AR 61, the rest are high). If what I’ve heard is true - the new dashers get the “good” orders to hook them into this game. I multi-app but it’s not good right now. 😮
Heya Mike, glad you're doing this grind. Maybe you can test the following information. You mentioned being confused about how the Acceptance is done. Doordash says based on previous 100 orders... that's Only true if you declined zero orders. Per a representative at Doordash, for every order you decline, it takes 4 orders to gain that 1% back from a decline. I've personally tracked this, and so far it remains true. I've raised my Acceptance from 33% up to now 94%. Yesterday, I did 8 orders and went from 92% to 94%. Are you seeing this trend to be true for you? My dollars per mile ratio and overall dollars per order are increasing. By the way, could the ratio be also dependent on area? I'm in the Toledo, Ohio market.

Acceptance rate what a freaking bad joke! Above 50% in my very small city market, Doordash makes it damn near impossible to logically and organically get above 70% here lol

@ajw9377 On busy days like Friday's dinner shifts still get decent orders. Just last Thursday I got like 5 $25 orders. It honestly depends on the day. I think "top dasher" is a lie honestly. DD just wants people to work as slaves and deliver every order for little pay.
I'm plat and the new changes seem to be okay for platters so far. Received an extra $690 as a bonus for completing 25 runs and maintaining my plat status for the week. If the same thing happens weekly and the requirements stay the same I wont complain. All I have to do is 25 deliveries a week and maintain my ratings for an extra $600+ a week? Not to mention the paltry but I'll take it amount of pay for the deliveries themselves. Yeah I can do that as a side hustle. I'm in nyc and most of my deliveries are under 1 mile so I dont mind taking most anything. I'm in my neighborhood and I ride my bike, easy money....usually.
