I just love the way Aaron says "Truust me!" I find myself saying it in the kitchen haha You truly are a great influence and inspiration Aaron! Love your videos!
Thanks for video, tips, and laugh. My husband and I enjoy your videos. LOL when you said "just brush my teeth like 200 times" or "just eat it together so both of you can smell eachother".
Aaron, Thank you for sharing this recipe. I made it for my parents. Dad is a very fussy eater and half the times that I try a new recipe he says “It’s not my favourite “ or grabs a frozen meal. This recipe he loved and is now going to be a regular meal for the family. I am also planning on making this recipe for a friend as well.
I really appreciate your teaching people to cook. Prior to the pandemic, I was of the opinion that food was an inconvenience you shoved into your facehole to keep going. In my isolation, I started to learn to cook for myself, and reaped the benefits of better tasting, cheaper, healthier food. As I write this I am waiting on a pork shoulder for carnitas in the slow cooker. The smell is making me crazy. Korean food is so unique in the world, and tasty. My wife asked for my bulgogi over rice on her birthday. Keep on keepin' on.
I learned to cook in my early 20s after moving out of my Mom's place...lived with one of her pals for several years. That woman really whipped me into shape in the kitchen! Now my partner of 13 years used to cook for a living in restaurants. He's trained me well! ❤
I love you guys. I love your recipes. I just bought your cookbook because your recipes are not complicated. I made Jab Chae the other day and it turned out great. Thanks for all your great recipes.
Hi Aaron and Claire, I made this today and it was fantastic! It turned out so well and will definitely become a regular recipe we use from now on. Thank you so much for your great videos which have given me confidence to try new things. Love from Australia xx
Didn’t have oyster sauce but still turned out really good! Everyone loved it! This was better than beef takeout I ordered last week. I had to throw it because it was so nasty. Thank you!!
I came back here to say that I’ve made your recipe! It was yummy! I opted out of the chicken bouillon as I felt that it would be too salty and I’m glad I opted out. Without it, I found it to be perfectly seasoned! Thank you.
@@uzumate9976 tangsuyuk is from china to korea but is now popular korean dish. that's just 1 example. soondae-guk is not spicy. seoleong-tang is not spicy. there are as many non-spicy korean dishes as spicy dishes. mirin is from china to japan to everywhere else. basically a lot of dishes from china got popular in different countries.
Claire, talk ALL YOU WANT! I love listening to you talk! I'm very slowly learning little bits of Korean (not entirely on purpose, but I pick it up from shows, from this channel, and a few others.) But I love listening to the flow of Korean and I always get super happy when I actually hear words that I know (and when I pick up new ones.) Now if I could find a Japanese channel that does this, I'd be set! (I could really use more listening practice in Japanese... and reading practice.)
I made this the other day. Good God! This recipe is better than anything you can get takeout. Only difference was I added sliced button mushrooms. Gonna try this with boneless chicken thighs next. You out did yourself Aaron 👍👍👍
When I work weekends I sometimes struggle with what food to cook to share with my colleagues. They absolutely love your Bulgogi noodles! I think I'm going to take this next weekend. It just looked so good. Plus, the way Claire was going on about it, clearly it was good!
Son of a gun. Made this dish two days ago. This looks much better. Have to make this tomorrow. Buy this guys book folks! My Asian wife and I love you guys!
You are a gift from God! Because of your recipes, I get to keep my girlfriend happy and enjoy cooking without a thousand steps, days of preparation, and stupid expensive cooking gadgets. Love you, man lol
A special thank you to Aaron and Claire for this super easy and super delicious meal. I made this at home today, but added bok choy in addition to everything else. My sons were so impressed! I can’t wait to try another one of your recipes! 💜🫰🏻@AaronandClaire
I read the thumbnail in your voice in my head. I just ordered your cookbook. Can’t wait to try it. We just got a side of beef so I have lots of options!
YUMMMMMM, YES PLEASE 🙏 AARON, LOOKS SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS. PERSONALLY I THINK I WOULD USE LESS WHITE ONIONS BUT MORE GREEN ONIONS. MORE GREEN ONIONS MORE BETTER RIGHT????
If you find the protein has an odd flavour from the baking soda you use, i would suggest using the baking soda first then washing it off with water to remove the baking soda and then marinading. As an FYI we used arm and hammer baking soda, no idea if this a brand specific issue. With the marinade we like to add good bit of black pepper or smaller amount of korean pepper flakes as pepper is always good with beef. The recipe is quick easy to do and tastey
I actually made this last night, with the addition of mushrooms & baby bok choy. You are right, easy and so delicious. I thought for sure that Hodu was going to wake up & give Claire a look for talking so loud.😂🤭
Love your style of teaching (and all the little asides lmaoooo let's all smell of onions and garlic together) When Claire was describing the smoky wok flavor that stir fry gives to food, it was translated as wok hei - is that a concept in Korean cooking too? I've only heard that vocabulary from my Cantonese family talking about the extra quality from the wok or grill you get on food that's stir fried or grilled :D
I love the humor in this? I rolled in laughter because sometimes when my Husband cooks I always say? I want it to look like a restaurant? he just rolls his eyes and just yes dear🤣🤣
Aaron to me is the best chef. Because of him I have developed the love of Korean cuisine and try his recipes all the time. Bravo my man.
The better it tastes, the more Claire talks about it, so this was a really good dish!
Claire describing food gives me so much joy. I know that sounds crazy 😂
Claire is so expressive and happy.
