    Many years ago, I met Jason while he was hitting balls at a Texas driving range. We struck up a conversation and he said his body was suffering greatly from both steroids and how hard he swung the club. He has stress fractures in many bones purely from the force of his swing. That's a high price to pay for hitting a golf ball a long way. I hope he's doing okay these days.

    You never told us the purpose of the drill

      It to help get your rotation in sequence. You want everything to follow the hips so pausing then rotating hips helps that. But its assuming you have most other aspects of you swing down. This tip is just for sequencing your hips.
