One of my favorite female singers. Beautiful and powerful vocals.
Linda e maravilhosa Laura Branigan. Saudade desta diva e de sua voz sem igual!
I met her! Thanks for posting...
This was just two years before she was taken from us. What a beautiful voice and face. I remember dancing to her song Gloria in a discotheque in the early 80's. I was a great song and a great song to dance to. Then came Self Control. May she rest in peace.

I got to meet her in Boston before she died. I never did get why she would only tour in the Northeast. I never remember her coming to Tennessee at all in concert my whole life.
As far as I know she only was in Tennessee one time, maybe twice. She did play there in 1984. She did some shows in the south but you're right barely any compared to the north east. Was the show you attended in Boston the Italia Unita show?
@@runandplay yes it was.
@@markbooker174 You may have seen it, but if not, we do have part of the video of that Italia Unita show on our other UA-cam channel. Did you happen to take any photos at that show? We only have a few photos from it.
No I don't have any photos sorry.
