Can A Reverse Hair Dryer Create An Instant Blowout? | Beauty or Bust

- Unlike conventional blow-dryers, which blow air on the hair to dry it, RevAir's Reverse-Air Dryer sucks hair in to dry in the natural direction of the cuticle. Hair dryers are known for causing heat damage as well as just being a pain to use. The $399 RevAir dryer claims to fix these common annoyances with hair dryers through its innovative sucking function, requiring less heat and time. Insider producer Nico Reyes put RevAir's dryer to the test, using it to dry her curly hair and rating it on ease of use, speed, and effectiveness.

Hi
you say its not sponsored, like they didn't pay you up front for this, but the whole video you are hyping this thing up and trying to avoid showing how loud it is, then you have a link where you get a kickback? So it is sponsored.
Wow!
But also take in consideration that it’s less damaging than a normal hair straightener and for her curly hair to be that straight with little to no heat it’s a big game changer!
Neta S air is way more less damaging than two hot plates pressing against your hair
I was thinking the same. There is no heat damage which is new.

It’s also pulling at the hair, which weakens the hair’s attachment to the root.
Yes
It's a hair vacuum cleaner
It cleans the hair.
Should try a Dyson in a side by side comparison🤣
300th like
@@linastissuebox that was unexpected 😶
Yeah
someone might accidentally stucked her hair in vacum cleaner and it turned out nicely, so they invented this product
I think its best for salon use, its to inconvenient for personal use. If it uses low heat to blow dry that would be awesome because that means it wont damage the hair. I would like to see it on 4c hair
search for 4c hair revair. A lot of people reviewed it a year or so ago
Hi there, Nelo! We just wanted to clarify that RevAir's highest heat setting is about half the heat of a traditional hair dryer, making it much less damaging even on our high heat setting. If you search #myrevair or #revair, you can see it reviewed on all hair types.
myrevair that’s what I love about it. My hair isnt hot when it comes out of the dryer.
Sis that thing is a blow dryer not a straightener don’t expect curly hair to be straight after blow drying
Actually it's a reverse hair dryer
Bruh
Same
Thanks for the advice, sis!
I think her expectations are off, but I understand the price you might expect more. I have similar hair texture, I would be hyped to see my hair that straight! With no effort of tugging and frying my hair with a brush and regular dryer, stretching my arms and sweating on top of it wanting to give up an hour in. I would have a better review. You have to run a flat iron through that kind of hair to be “100%” straight.
I just used it. I am astounded! It normally takes me an hour and fifteen minutes to blow dry and then straighten my hair. This was 20 minutes and I think next time I can do it in even less time! It's so silky and soft. My mind is truly blown! I wish I bought the accessories as well while they were marked down :-/. It's a keeper and an incredible time saver.
It took me 40 minutes. I think because I was still trying it out. Probably with practice I can get faster.
@@Muslimah33 Also it makes a moment to want to part it correctly. Keep at it!
I think this product *stretches* your hair, not straightens it. It’s a machine that sucks your hair in. Meaning that it’s forcefully pulling it down. It does “straighten” your hair but it doesn’t make it flat like an iron. Which, in my opinion, shouldn’t have been expected of this product. It looks like a perfect way to blow dry your hair before straightening it, without the extra heat.
My friend/hair stylist used this on me the other day and I told my husband all about it and now we can’t stop thinking about it. 👀 very tempted to make the splurge.
I really love Nico’s curly hair....and after every stressful hair straightening video her hair manages to look good and not damage, well I hope so.
Right! We need to know what deep conditioner she uses.
I have such curly hair I’ve always done a blowout followed by a flat iron so I would love this product to save me some strain on my wrist from a traditional blowout followed by a full flat iron. It definitely seems far less strenuous
My flat ironed hair is so pretty after using this. It feels lightweight.
"This whole situation" is beautiful and to die for curly hair. 💛💛💛
I feel like this would be a pro tool that salons can add to their inventory. It is amazing and works very well. But, this isn't something that most women can use everyday.
Salons wouldn't use it, you have way more control of the end shape of your hair with a blow-dryer. So it's about as expensive as a dyson but slower and less control. Nahhh this product is made to fail
But why!? Your curls are glorious! I get that testing products is your job but seriously your curls are beautiful
Its still good to stretch the hair every now and then. Not about beauty only, but health.
Her natural hair is too cute, though.
It looks like a hair dryer that would be good for those of us that have painful conditions in the arms and hands. This would make it easier and less tiring and less painful to style our hair.
Hair pulls tight, hair goes straight.
Also arnt we told not to do this as kids
Yeh but not with a frickn vacum
Lmao I was thinking the same thing
That's a vaccum 😹👏
This is good for salons, for Afro hair, braiding, styling
This is cool!!!
But what im curious is what if a person who has head lice use this, will their head lice be sucked by that thing?
Good question im wondering if it does that with dandruff too?
Never seen Nico with straight hair🙀
Why wouldn't you have someone who always blow drys their hair try this instead of these two? Like, I never go out without blow drying my hair, which is why I know what it should look like pre-straightening iron, but what she was expecting her hair to look like with only this dryer.
I wish you would try these on C4 hair. If it can work on those tight kinky coils then I can work on anything
Try to compare this to the dyson. I looooove my dyson air wrap with the flat brushes and it straightens my hair so well. To curl there’s a couple week learning period/curve but I’ve never once regretted purchased it after trying other wet-hair-straighteners.
Well does it work on knee length hair??
A vantagem desse aparelho é a rapidez com que ele escova o cabelo, depois é só finalizar com uma prancha!
Lord, forgive me for what I first thought this device was resembling, when I saw the thumbnail
Thank god im not the only one who thinks its just a vacuum and cleaner for hair
Nico with straight hair is... 😍😍😍😍😍
In the second girl, with a classic hair dryer, her hair can be straightened much better and in 5 min. By the way her hair is naturally almost straight.
The sprayer can’t wet hair through enough, the parts that came out wavy weren’t damp enough
No chemical needed to straight your hair like in salon. For the curly hair, yeah its better option.
Is this the Fenty lip? ❤️
I see this as a start for straightening and the. Use a flat iron
It is bigger than the hair straightner but it is easier than hair straightener
maybe im the missing the point a little. yes for $400 i’d have high expectations but at the end of the day its a blow dryer. was her hair dry yes. i don’t think curly girls can expect bone straight hair w/ just a blow dryer. i think w/ the results from the blow dryer she got- one pass w/ a flat iron and she would’ve had a bomb silk press
So it sucks but it definitely doesn’t suck… just literally LMAO
The only issue would probably be hair loss? Since it’s pulling on the roots
Di u really look nice in straight hairs awesome 😘😘
Seu cabelo é lindo cacheado 😘🇧🇷
I wonder how much this damages the hair
With about half the heat of a traditional hair dryer and no need of the friction of a brush, it is actually healthier for your hair. There is no fear of damaging the natural curl pattern while using #myrevair
Less.
Its a vaccum
I heard there was $400 price tag. So is it really worth it? For my texture.... 👎
I want to have this but it’s to expensive
I wish I can open a salon and have all of these tools, that's gonna be so cool 🤤
it rains that day
Lices:*shaking*
Does this work on 4C hair tho ??
$42 hair straightener comb was the best
I think a volumizer, like the bed head one is a better bargain
1:28 me every time i handle my hair 🤣🤣🤣
I need help
Wouldn't a reverse hair dryer by like . .. a spray bottle?
400$ for a hair vaccum cleaner? Hell nah. Ain't no body got the money for that
It's a blowout not a press.
Love this channel! I’m a new youtuber and it gives me so much inspiration
Bonne chance
I want to order this revair. What can I do?
maybe it could work in a salon to absorb strong odors from keratin straightening treatments
Very Nice ❤😍😘
Vacuum cleaner with iron inside🤣
Which lipstick we use in these video
So its basically a fancy vacuum cleaner
Considering the amount of hair that regularly get stuck in my vacuum cleaner and make it stop working when i use it on floor.. i'm not Sure i'd take the risk of buying a "hair vacuum" and then break it with my own hair
The shape😳
Bout to stick my hair in a regular vacuum hose and see if I can save $400.
You know somebody tried it and that's where this came from! ;D
Parece una aspiradora
"It's just not the straightest"
Meeeeeeeeee!!! 😂
Let's try it by vaccum cleaner
Now how am I supposed to fit it in my drawer ?
Love it...
How to purchase uae
This looks like vacuum cleaner though
Lmaoooo why is Danny even in this video
What if I wanna dry my hair but doesn't want it straight from this hair sucker ?
I’m sorry but didn’t they take the name for the series “beauty or bust” from Natalie’s outlet “Beauty Busters”. They are also doing the same exact concept. ( testing out 1 or more products and seeing if they are a “poop, a woop, or a maybe baby”.)
Constantly heating your hair can damage really bad. you might it think looks good at the beginning but you'll regret soon 💖💖💖💖 no hates love you
Skip button @01:40 🤝🏾
We all know what the main holding part looks like
Quando isso chegar ao Brasil vai virar febre entre as blogueiras 😁
I didn’t like what she had to say about it. Because this would be a very healthy way of straightening out CURLY CURLY Hair. And obviously you gotta go in with a straightener to finish it but it wouldn’t be so much work. because look how straight it left her hair!!.. and girls with straight/not so wavy hair of course wouldn’t need it.
Is that a vacuum car cleaner
Yeah. This probably would not work on type 4 hair.
It actually works amazing on type 4 hair
Danny’s top lip is non existent 😂
Gente que isso
Wow
so cute.
I'll just go buy a cheap vacuum...
But it says in the name it's a blowout not a straightening machine a blowout streches your hair
The black girl is a bit much. Her hair isn't straight but a bit wavy and completely dry. There are no one and done hair straighteners for Black hair. 3a-4c. it got it done and straight most of the way. It faster than a blow out or wash and set. If you want straighter hair your gonna have to a flat iron or hot comb.
Gosh Niko, your hair when it's straight and with that red lipstick, you look a little bit like Ronny from Riverdale!
Uhm... 😐
Gimmick. It 100% doesn’t make your hair look like a blow out. A blow dryer and a round brush is where it’s at. This is for someone who has absolutely no idea how to do their hair and wants to flash how much money they have.
Reverse hair dryer so like a vacuum
Okay, so you mean if I stick my hair in this vacuum cleaner it will straighten my mop out? Well heck. I guess my home vacuum has a new job. Lol,lol. Okay, let's be practical here on this product. Who would buy a product that is big and bulky. Now add that if you travel. Who wants to lug this big thing around. Now add in if you have a family, and on the go. Who has time to sit in front of a vacuum cleaner for 30 minute or longer and that's if it takes the first time. Good luck. Maybe come up with something that is home friendly and not made more for a salon.😉
Not worth
I don’t think it was worth my money all in all tbh
better with straight hair
I think to be fair to the product. Use a brush while drying and some hair products.
That is *not* wavy hair.
Cause its curly
Alyza Mesa lol no, I was talking about the second girl.
@@gianna4954 ok lol
