Hey GlamFam! By now I’m sure you’ve heard of the RevAir hair dryer, social media has been buzzing about it for months! Well, RevAir reached out to me and sent us one to try. In this video I tried it out, and I give my honest review. I will say, for 4c hair, it likely won’t get the hair straight, BUT it does use significantly less heat than a traditional blow dryer, which means less risk of heat damage. All in all, I think this is a smart product, and I honestly was impressed, I wasn’t expecting it to work as well as it did. If you can afford it, or consider it a good investment, I would definitely recommend it for you.

This was helpful, because I’ not great at blowing out hair. I went ahead and got one, and it’s worth the money. Biggest pluses for me were speed, less heat, and far less hair manipulation needed.

I own the Revair. My cousin also purchased 1 & we both love it! She uses her on her texlax hair & her weaves. I use mine on my natural kinky/curly hair, as well as my daughter's. Definitely a good investment.

Finally took the plunge and am so glad I did. Wish I had done it sooner. My daughter has extremely thick, very long hair. It tangles very easily. She actually commented how much easier (and less painful) this process is with this type of dryer. No pain and MUCH quicker.

Honestly, I could see the benefits of using it in the salon, but, legally that may not be possible in certain states. The inside of the hose is not easily sanitized for salon use between clients
@@GetGlamFamI was just thinking this, myself! I just bought one since their Memorial Day sale with free shipping and returns (and you can use Afterpay to split the payments up into 4 equal ones), was just too good to pass up. But--if that hose is heat safe/heatproof--can't it be steam sterilized like a manicurist's metal tools can be? Or maybe, could clients purchase a hose for their own use--and bring it with them in an awesome multipurpose bag--like people do at social drinking halls and clubs that will hold onto their beer mugs, or their wine glasses, or whatever?

I think that depends on the regulations for that state. I’m Texas, no. All components have to be easily sanitized between each use, the inside of the hose isn’t easily sanitized

Great review! I don’t blow dry my hair because I’m concerned about drying it out, so this looks to be a good option. I would have to consider how often I would use it to determine if I should make the investment.

This hair dryer has gotten good reviews but it's up there with Dyson in terms of price point. I don't know if I can ever justify the cost of it as I rarely use heat on my hair outside of deep conditoning.

My concern is the suction. It seems that any pulling like this would damage the hair over time. Our whole moto is not pulling at our hair to prevent breakage over time. I was tempted to buy this but I need a review where someone has used it over time to see any long-term effects.

Yes, definitely! The potential issue for me for professional use is sanitation. We have to sanitize everything between clients, the inside of the hose is not easily sanitized
