im just watching again just to support the team... seriously what other team owner is assembling there engine's. Wouldn't care if it was rear of the field just great skills needed to get that far.. all the best this weekend
Awesome stuff. Todd ! What a legend! Bus driver, Engine builder, tour guide, All round good bloke. Looking forward to watching you guys race this weekend. Thanks for sharing 🙃🙃👍👍
For you guys to take the time to show your fans all the behind the scenes stuff is testament to you and all involved. Not too many teams have time for their fans.. thanks doesn’t seem enough.....
Keep the content coming! Love the old school approach of looking and seeing / hearing where there is an issue in the cars! Not a big team, but a family built team! Keep it up!
It used to be about the marquee for me, however , Todd you have brought me to supporting a Team irrespective of marquee. Appreciate your ability to lead and by example. Wish you well for the future racing, I will be on the sideline cheering😊
I'll sencond this and I couldn't have said it better my self! Good luck with the weekend and thanks for the insight into the team and posting the videos of the journey.
Absolutely, I certainly agree with you regarding the marquee statement. I have always been a Holden fan, though Kelly Racing is my new favorite team. Absolutely awesome seeing Todd on the tools and his ability to use old school techniques. Having the ability to adapt to the conditions is becoming lost in this day and age.
Really good entertaining stuff, very enjoyable watching this, I am now following your team closely with the mustangs. Thanks for the effort making the videos.
Thank you Todd we have absolutely loved your vids . Being in the UK we love the V8's and will visit again and hopefully get to a race meeting. Take care thanks alot again....Roy & Cheryl. (UK)
Great job boys 👍🏻 I’m guessing whoever did valve replacement did an excellent job as normally once a guide has been messed with (in this replaced) the seats at a minimum with need some attention (seats cut) to get the valve contacting the seat and being concentric. Maybe the head guy gave them a hit with a stone? Anyway, good luck and hope you go well👍🏻
Mr Kelly , I love my henry's . On upset multi blades carb or throttle bodies, my rapid intervention is to pull out the feller guages and check or reset the blade to body clearance to match all the others for balanced airflow in 2 mins or less .
Kelly Racing IMO is the essence of V8 Supercars. Keep up the awesome content and looking forward to watching you guys impress on the track. #Neds #Castrol
Best of luck to you boys this weekend. It’s great to see how you’ve developed the car in such a small window of time and pulled off some great results for your effort. Keep up the great work we’re all rooting for you 👍🏻
Well done Kelly Racing! I have loved watching your videos and following your road trip adventures. Your massive effort from leaving Victoria in record time to arriving in Darwin is absolutely massive. What you have achieved as a team is highly commendable and you should all be very proud. I have always been a Holden fan, though I will be following your team closely and I wish you all, every success and the best of luck in Darwin and for the rest of the season. Awesome videos and a great insight into a real raceteam, well done and I look forward to more videos. Cheers Jordan
Cool team trip 👍 One thing i dont understand is nearly 30 years ago the modern engines aka twin overhead cams were cut. Today your using a pushrod engine but the mustang is sold with a modern ford engine. Do the rules prohibit more modern engines? Liked the video and build.
Hey Mr Kelly .... love your UA-cam channel ... Keeps it up .. :-) ..... got a question about This Mustang thing , is it a better race car all around than the Nissan and Holden were? .... Now i thinks you would have a good inside knowledge of this as you blokes have raced all three cars now ...... it just looks to me that the Mustang is able to apply its power out of the corner a lot more early then the Holdens can and they point and steer better though the corners .... Is this the case for Rick and Andre ? are they able to get more out the car in the corners ? Does it feel better for them ? Now as Mike would say ... ' BackToWork ' ... :-) ... Check my camshaft profile design that Dean Tighe from Ivan Tighe camshafts in South Brisbane ,and the grind got labelled Cleveland solid#764 ,works great with reversed piston location with notches backwards.
I must admit, Kelly Racing was my least favourite team, but what you guys have achieved with the mustangs and all this covid crap is nothing short of incredible, and the video's I'm absolutely loving, your definitely up the top two or three now, great work guys, hope you have a great round in Darwin.
Try fitting cylinders 1,2,3&4 piston and rod assembly's to cylinders5,6,7&8 , then fitting cyls 5,6,7&8 reciprocating gear to cylinders 1,2,3&4. Then check where the crank throws true TDC is and then fit degree wheel set to crank throw TDC then back up the crank and see how early the piston dwells BTDC , instead of after

Love the pulley on the drill to prime the dry sump system. Now that's clever thinking. Also the alternator cooler. IYKYK ;)
Awesome stuff.

Looking forward to watching you guys race this weekend. Thanks for sharing 🙃🙃👍👍
Nice to see a team owner on the tools too.
And pilot

I really dig the family vibe of this team, adversity has bonded them.
This is almost like a Supercars version of McLaren unboxed, and that's one of the best UA-cam series.
Well done guys, all the best for the weekend hope all goes great, you've deserve it 👍
Thank you Todd we have absolutely loved your vids . Being in the UK we love the V8's and will visit again and hopefully get to a race meeting. Take care thanks alot again....Roy & Cheryl. (UK)
Thanks for the videos Team Kelly Racing being able to see what makes all happen opens up a broader prospective.
There will be many cherished memories that will last a lifetime from this experience .... Safe travels
Todd is a super cool dude and this series is awesome thanks for the video's.👍

Really enjoy watching the trashing that goes on keeping on top of things. Best of luck in the upcoming race from Texas USA.
Definitely one of the best things coming out of this pandemic getting back to the grass roots of racing and what it all used to be about

A big “E” for effort Todd. Hope you have a successful weekend up there in the warmth. Thanks dot the video.
This series of videos by Todd is a great insight into how a switched on race team handles all the problems that inevitably crop up.
Good on yea guys and all the best for this weekend 👍

With the monumental effort you guys have put in you more than deserve a couple of podiums at least ! Good luck KR!

Another great video, thanks for the insight
Fantastic insight to what currently goes on behind the scenes
Great job. But i am curious as how you can hold valve to seat contricity when you replace the valve guides without cutting the valve seats??
Awesome vid !
Good luck for the race Todd and team
Cool team trip 👍

How was the fan reactions through the small out back towns, any tours for the kids??
If it wasn’t for this stupid pandemic, I’d visit Australia right now
Come down & see us when you can i love my V8 super cars CHEERS
Thanks enjoy life Stay safe & Well.
How can you change the valve guides and not cut the seats with out compromising valve sealing efficiency
How good is this!
Awesome 👌🤟
Kelly's heroes ))
Hope all the big overseas teams see how things get done here when things arent perfect.
Would i be able to do some work experience with you guys once lockdown is done? I want to be a motorsports mechanic when i finish school
@mark huynh that's not a bad idea
Little bit of vinegar on his hand due to box jellyfish stings, lol & the 0:42 mark, :)

Watch that engine take a win or podium at worst..
U replaced valve guides!. U didn't cut the seats? 🤔
