I have to be honest here. As a one-eyed, dyed in the wool Ford man, I’ve detested the Kelly Brothers for years, and had really mixed feelings when I heard they were moving to Mustangs for 2020, as I was used to hating them and wasn’t sure if I could bring myself to cheer for them on race day, lol!! Well, credit where credit’s due - I have thoroughly enjoyed the build series; it’s almost unheard of for a V8SC team to let you even see under the bonnet, let alone take you right through their engine development program and let you see the nitty gritty of what it takes just to get their cars on the grid come Adelaide!! You’ve turned me into a fan, lads - all the very best for the year to come; I hope to see you on the podium soon!!!

Love watching the cars built from the gound up, has been really exciting. I had a lot of respect for Kelly racing when they took on the Nissan challenge, and now the Mustang. I swear Rick cracked a smile in one of those corners ! Now that GM have picked up their bat and ball and buggered off back to the USA leaving thousands of Holden employees and fans devastated all i can say is thank god you guys went with the Mustang ! It is strange watching this video after the first practice day and now knowing how well you ran !
Put a magnet at the base of the bonnet rod and in the holder so that the rod clicks in quicker and easier. You guys must be so proud. I remember the emotion when I completed my Sports sedan race car and then saw it go around the track the first time. Congratulations..
Congratulations to all the men and women at Kelly Racing, it has been an amazing effort to get to new Mustangs ready in such a small timeframe. I hope you have a successful season. For me, I've gone full circle. When I was a kid I started off a Ford and Allan Moffat fan, but when he switched to Mazda, I started supporting the Nissan Bluebirds (because we owned one) , and when the mighty GTR was kicked out at the end of 1992, I followed the Nissan crew to Holden. When Skaify retired I followed his former team mate Todd Kelly so I was really happy when he switched to the Nissan's. Now with the Nissan's no more I'm back following a Ford Team. Weird how life is sometimes.

Hats off to all at Kelly Racing and I wish them every success in 2020. Previously Holden boys, but very smart to run with Mustangs knowing that Holden was more than likely dead in the water. You wouldn't want to have to build another brand anytime soon especially after the Nissan experience.
