I just purchased it in Brazil for R$1,169. Approximately £186. To buy a basic laptop with a Windows operating system I would have to pay at least R$2,800 so considering local prices, it was incredibly cheap, I hope it works for what I need, I really can't pay more. I'm a student and I do some jobs remotely (exclusively using the browser). Your video was very enlightening as I didn't find much information about this model. Thank you very much.

In 2018 I bought a Samsung pro 2 in 1 chromebook which served me well until I spilled a cup of coffee in it. I had no intentions of replacing it. But I ended up getting an Acer spin 714 chromebook plus, a very solid device. Touchscreen, 2 in 1, 8 gb ram, 256 gb ssd storage, i5 processor. It's very fast, holds a charge a long time and charges up super quick. Beautiful 14 inch gorilla glass screen and trackpad. Full metal construction. Normally sells for $699 but got it for sale on Best Buy for $499. Will get updates until June 2032. If it lasts me that long I'll be very happy.
I got this free with my phone and I use it day to day now. I have a decent windows laptop and desktop, but the fact that the lightweight OS boots up in seconds and runs most of what I'd use day to day without any issues, it has proven to be a decent little tool.
Thanks for the review. In the States here. I was looking these up cause i just got a home internet package and i have the option of this laptop or a $200 Target gift card. I will now take the gift card. This made up my mind. Ty again!
I bought a lenovo duet on chrome os hybrid tablet is really cool mine is really fast boots up much quicker than windows. ID mobile and Samsung giving that notebooks you're reviewing for free. Hard to argue with free.
Grabbed one for 70 bucks. I have the shell of a 1948 Rockola Jukebox I'm going to refit into a media center and hopefully this will be sufficient for the guts of my Media playing OS
I think you need to use Chrome OS a bit more as I think you're giving a bad impression of it. I have 3 windows computers and 3 Chromebooks and 9 times out of 10 I reach for my Chromebook as they are a joy to use in stark contrast to Windows which is full of annoyances. I've still got a 6 year old Chromebook which was a budget model on release and it still zips along at a good pace. Chrome OS is a very lightweight operating system so you don't need much power.
i have and old chromebook acer c710 one of the first chromebooks its basic a laptop you can change upgrade the drive and upgrade the ram. it came with 320GB drive. because its no longer supported with google you can load chromeflex which gets updates and runs just like google chrome os. or run linux or windows on it. i also have two cr48 google chromebooks.
omg, you answer questions??i ur amaz 🤩so i havehpcbx360. i made an accidental touch and it was loud. tonight i pressed something and it went low again. was like speakers stopped. yes settings show max. please help ... big fan of your details wgere pros act like you know already. love your breakdowns, luv you🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Interesting issue! It does sound like perhaps something has come loose in the speaker or wiring. But maybe if you are able to open it up you can see if there is something out of place?
For £300 this is not worth it, you can pick up a Chromebook Plus for less, with much better hardware and performance. There are also Chromebooks with equal specs for about £150.
Indeed, it's the cheapest because it is free BUT it also has the same specs as most of the cheapest (new) Chromebooks you can find, (Intel Celeron N4500 Processor, 4GB RAM, 64 GB eMMC

Totally agree, so much easier and snag free than windows!!, i love my 2 year old samsung chromebook for fast boot up and all round ease of use! 😃
at that price I think you would be better off getting a Samsung tablet (s6 lite 1 or 2) or S21 wit dex
Thank you sir, subscribed ❤❤
Great video, thanks!

This is the worst laptop I have ever seen
Took almost 7 minutes to get out of the box and booted up, how much time do you think we have to watch reviews?
What do you think the FF button is for?!
400🎉
Thank you!!
