Things to do with thrust vector, you can turn your hammerheads into pinwheels. You can also shift your flatspin in any direction, try going left two spins then shift to right spins. Another is practicing aggressive high alphas and of course hovers. I think FMS did well on the add-on kit. The Viper airframe is also great with T-V, hovers like a ballerina
Mines set up TV and im running 7s 5000 on the stock 6 motor. Keeps it light and im similar thrust figures as the much heavier 8s unit. TV os on a 3 pos switch. Off. Half rates. Full rates. One of my top 5 jets in my hanger. Absolutely love its size, paint job, sound and presence. Only thing i hated was the stiff grease they shoved in the suspension..wish they'd not bothered. Viper90 suspension is perfect as is. Why mess with it...
They announced this a few days after I ordered the Freewing Mig29 with vectoring. I love that MiG but I would’ve went with this had I known. This looks much lighter and more nimble. Very nice flying though!! Love the content.
I have a Freewing Avanti 80mm and I get about a minute from every 1000mah, so 5 mins on a 5000 pack. I might add a thrust vector in the future but I love it as it is stock! Seems to fly a lot like this one without vector.
Have TV on my Avanti 90mm as well. But with full gyro, and running it very tail heavy for max agility. It's pretty amazing. Not enough thrust to pull out of a hover though. That would be the _ULTIMATE_ EDF 3D trainer if someone can figure out a power system setup that maintains the wing loading while produces enough thrust to hover and climb out of it.
Hey Jay, great VID on TV. I have mine setup on a on/off/rudder only 3-way. Can you explain how you got your H/M/L rates integrated with the T.V. I had to go with a 10 channel to use everything (including reverse). I’d be curious how you did that.
I just went basic and connected the TV to Y harness for elevator and rudder dual rate is tied to the elevator and rudder rate. But you can set flight modes the way yours is set up. Just set a flight mode with the amount of servo travel you want for each mode
Let me get this straight. Your videos are incredible. Your PILOT SKILLS ARE AMAZING… AND YOU HAVE A THRUST VECTORING JET NOW?!?! Absolute FREAKIN LEGENDARY COMBO LADIES AND GENTS🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thrust Vector is a add on for $70 more. Its added on the tail section for either 6s or 8s.the same predator 120 esc is used for either 6s 1950kv or 8s 1500kv.
I have a buddy that inherited 120 balsa planes in various sizes and conditions. Everything was on gas and we have been converting one just about every 10 days 3 a month. Very tricky to find battery placement as fuel tanks were always hidden and not very accessible. Let alone holes we will cut for the battery hatch. Good for you bringing life to old planes.
We have successfully converted about 10 or 15 planes that would never have flown again if not for us to convert them. Some of them are really difficult and they just don't want to fly I don't know if they just didn't fly good when they were gassers but we have been successful with adding as3x + to help and it was night and day. But if you have something special it is well worth it.
Nice video. BTW Two Brothers RC has a nice video of it set up with thrust vectoring.
Always l love your stick jam . I do the same thing. Some love it some hate it. This seems to be the future of jets. Can't wait to see who tops this.

J11 needs thrust vectoring and I think you’ll love it

Nice skydiving 👍
Thanks for these inspirations. Is the CG behind the factory recommendation ?

Do you have T.V. on a switch or on all the time?

So if you order the vector thrust do they include???? For the 8s .
I'm wondering what all I need. Do they upgrade
ESC
EDF.
Doesn't say on description.

@@sendit_rc so you order the vector thrust then you purchase an additional EDF that runs 8s . Thanks a lot for the info I appreciate it

that is the goal the model is over 45 years old wanted to see it fly. Thanks for the kind words 🤗
