I really enjoyed that Ellie end to end. Well, hills from the off signals what's ahead. I've been up the Skirrid a number of times - great 360 views. I never knew you were Hammocking - that was a cool surprise. No doubt a good nights kip. With the water off it was good to reach Llanthony Id imagine. I do love the area and the tops heading back on your loop. I was up there camping the other week - on channel if interested. Well, with partrishow church and sunset on table mountain a result I'd say. What a great section. All the best out there. Mark

Hi Mark! Thankyou so much for your lovley comments 😁 Yes, we love to hammock whenever possible - easy to find hidden wildcamps and, as you say, a very comfortable sleep too! It was a great hike, and I'd definitely recommend it so far :) Part Two is already up aswell! I'll be sure to check out your channel - All the best, happy adventuring 😁

@@EllieParkerYT A pleasure Ellie - got your next one lined up. Yeah, you looked at home in the hammock and in the big hills. I know the area. Re-my channel/vid in your own time. Peace.

That Grayl water filter is just about the best that you can buy it even removes pesticides and fertilizer residues and I don't know of any other filters that do so. I have one and I'd drink just about any water once it's been through the Grayl. Nice video, thanks.

Did a two night hike and camp round that part of Wales a number of years ago. Filled up my bottle from that same river, boiled the water, but had a bad stomach for a good few days after i got back. There are a lot of farms and roads that water runs down till it gets to that part of the river 🐑
Later experience, i took water from a fresh stream coming out of rocks on the mountainside and had no problems at all

Interesting! Glad we didn't risk it then - as you say, we would also normally just be collecting from mountian rivers with no issue
