    I am Very Blessed to live in Las Vegas. And go to the magic club each Wednesday night and Allen Ackerman is there. He is the Best card magician I have ever seen hands down. With a Great personality and always willing to do magic and share. He always blows my mind. He is truly a living Legion when it comes to cards and Amazing Magician. I myself will be picking this up! Also if you are ever in Las Vegas on a Wednesday night around 9pm. Stop by Tommy Rockers and say Hi" to Allen Ackerman in person.

    David thanks for this review. I actually have The Cardjurer lecture notes which has searching for a thought. Alan lectured out here in Phx about 10 years ago. Plus I’ve been fortunate to have met him on several occasions in Vegas. He is a true gentleman. One time he took my deck and absolutely blew me away.

    Okay, that "Impromptu Searching For A Thought" was mind blowing.🤯 I just noticed that is one of the card effects he teaches on his Penquin Live Lecture.

      His penguin live is also outstanding. Allan is the best!

    for anyone interested, the slight demonstrated in the beggining of the video is called the bottom deal exchange or B.D.E. It was created by ed marlo and can be learnt from MINT 2. however arlo does mention you can use BDE in conjunction with ackermans greek bottom deal

    I was fortunate to get Allan to lecture in my shop in 1991. Great guy and magician. Fantastic review as always David and the demos were excellent.

    That effect with the 9's and Aces floored me. I am going to buy the lecture for that alone. I only do mentalism so dont know if i will ever perform it. But i audibly said WOW when watching it. Superb effect. Nice handling David.

      Bernard - the Technicolor Splits is not on this lecture - It can be found in his book Card Theater. I was also told that it was taught on this video that is still being given away from free from Vanishing Inc Magic here --> www.vanishingincmagic.com/card-magic-downloads/festive-five-2020/ I haven't confirmed that it is on this video but you can check it out if you want and let everyone know.

    This is a Masterclass in reviewing a Masterclass Lecture. I especially appreciate the simpler more streamlined version of Search and Destroy. A great great trick taken to an even higher level. Many thanks, David.

    Nice utility move - any chance it's available in video?

    Hi!
    Can you please review Peter Turner's Vanishing Inc. masterclass?

  • @andyk147
    @andyk147 Рік тому +1

    Perhaps that utility move is a Fred Kaps move?

    • @UnbiasedMagicReviews
      @UnbiasedMagicReviews  Рік тому +3

      It's actually an Ed Marlo move which can be found in the New Tops Magazine from the 70s.

      @@andyk147 Awesome - Always happy to hear when someone has saved some money! BTW - I did some digging - The move can also be found in Ackerman's Book Card Theater.

    you can ask Siri to name a playing card

    • @UnbiasedMagicReviews
      @UnbiasedMagicReviews  Рік тому +5

      I prefer a random card generator that you can see the card being generated. With the shortcuts app - a person can force Siri to name the card that they want.

    • @rosscoman
      @rosscoman Рік тому +1

      To me, the random card app is a lot more suspicious than Siri.
