    I so agree with everyone complimenting you on taking the time to discuss things in depth as well as demonstrating some of the tricks yourself instead of just talking about them as most reviewers unfortunately do. Kudos, Unbiased!

      Thanks Dan. I'm going to just say what you probably already know. The reason is because I don't just review magic products, I use the products that I review every day. Its the only way I can give you an honest assessment of what I like the best and why. Practice is the best vehicle in your journey for learning and experience is your best judge of that practice.

    Good morning David! Great review, I’m a book/lecture guy and I appreciate you focusing on books/methods. Lectures run in close second for me. Not saying I don’t use gimmicks and gaffs, but to this day I always return to my reference library. You just answered what I was going to ask, which was, what stack you use. I use mnemónica, but have been looking for another to learn to shift between. Thanks again. First vid I watched this Monday morning, 4:45am here,. Now I’m hitting the store and purchasing this book. I would like to see you put a Vlog out every once in awhile, perhaps just short performance vids. You’re a better man than I...after 40 yaears I have never sold any of my books, had some stolen when we moved one time, but never sold. I’ll be on TLC on Book Hoarders” according to my beautiful bride. 😎 Have a great week!

      Hey Toby! Great to hear from you! Glad you enjoyed my review. I find the best material is hidden within books and magic magazines. When I first started learning mem deck magic I was looking for a stack that I could learn which had principles to help me remember the positions of the cards. The basics of the Joyal stack really can be learned in 6 hours but to master it cold took a lot longer. Once you have the confidence of knowing your stack inside and out then you can really start to perform effortlessly. I'm actually surprised that no one else has done a review on this book here on youtube. I was happy when someone asked me to review it. About selling books, I have purchased more than one magic book that turned out to be a huge disappointment and more often than not, I just turn around and sell them on ebay. Thanks again for the suggestions!

    Nice review, seems like a really good book, i personally use Juan Tamariz Mnemonica which for me is like a bible, but "In Order" seems to be a good reading, i think it will go on my wishlist 😁.
    Keep it up 👍
    Best of regards

      Thanks! Juan Tamariz has a wealth of mem deck magic in his book Mnemonica.

      @@UnbiasedMagicReviews Yes there is magic there for a lifetime, when i started in magic roughly two years ago it was the second book that i bought 😅, it's a beautiful book filled with incredible and well thought of magic, Juan Tamariz is the reason that i started into magic and the Spanish school of magic it's amazing.

      @@ezequiel_reis I've read it. It's got a lot of solid routines and jam packed with tons of ideas. Mnemonicosis is a favorite. The Spanish School of magic is alive and well. People like Gabi, Dani DaOrtiz and Kiko Pastur have made a strong impact on card magic to name a few. I just soak up everything they put out! =)

      @@UnbiasedMagicReviews I'm Portuguese so naturally I'm drawn to Spanish magic 😅, but i also love Eugene Burger work, Paul Voodini, Lewis Le Val. By the way if you get a chance try to see the work of a spanish magician called Jorge Carmona for me he's one of the best I've ever seen, here is a link for a small video.ua-cam.com/video/DXzy7qjuo50/v-deo.html he also has a book called "Crianza".

    Are you sponsored by Nike now? 😉 is Echoes similar to what Pit performed on Fool Us? Or is that a different routine found in the book?
    Thanks for great and in depth review

      No and No. Echoes is totally different than what Pitt Hartling did on Fool Us. If you are interested I can send you a video showing you what echoes looks like. I left it out of my review because the review was getting way too long.

    Hi. For Sherlock. Reverse the initial stack. Then after the two riffle shuffles, you can look for the correct cards in the stack order,... It's in the book? This makes it's loads simpler David??

    So many people - even pros - pronounce it 'Noo Monica' and it drives me crazy!

      You're most welcome!! I don't forget anyone, but I get a lot of requests so it takes time to plan out exactly what I am going to review and in what order. There is so much more that I can say about this book and I feel like I just scratched the surface with this review. Hopefully it was a good taste of what you can expect to find in the book!

    Which do you like better Naked ESP cards or the Beyond ESP3 2.0 cards?

    • @UnbiasedMagicReviews
      @UnbiasedMagicReviews  4 роки тому +1

      Dan, Naked ESP cards are much better. 2 main reasons - Naked ESP cards are SOOO much easier to read and from a distance and the other reason is that they are made of plastic and will last much longer. They are the best ESP cards I have ever had. I would challenge anyone to show me a better option.

    What stack do you use??
    I have yet to memorise a stack and I would like to hear your opinion on which stack you preferred?

    • @UnbiasedMagicReviews
      @UnbiasedMagicReviews  2 роки тому

      You can memorize any stack you want but I learned the Joyal Stack years ago and never looked back. You don't want to be second guessing yourself during a meme deck effect.
