One red flag that points this out is that he is bringing it to the school board, as opposed to just reporting it to the police. For one, it's actually a very small, very loud group. When our statement of conscious council investigated claims like this we found that the 25,000 complaints we investigated were made by approximately 600 people. That's more than 40 per person. This man is somewhere in the 30s now. The people who do this do it a lot.

The most alarming reason is that they want to provoke an anti-lgbt agenda, and having no real substance to base that on, they try to conflate lgbt people with pedophilic groomers. People react to those claims without checking them. A smaller minority just want attention, or views on youtube.

Uniformly, they aren't. Every book on a public school library shelf has to go through three rounds of vetting by three different review boards. These are a combination of administrators and parent volunteers. Look up joining one in your school district. They number per board varies with the county, but they average about 10 members. A head librarian or school media specialist can also veto a book. Do you really believe 30+ individuals sign off on truly inappropriate content?

There are lists of books similar to the one he read being protested at these meetings. You’re saying all the people doing what he did are all just attention seekers? 1) How are they keeping it out if no one was trying to put it in?
2) We're talking about a book that was assigned to 12th graders in the OWL program. Kids in that program have associate's degrees in related subject matter before they are 18.
3) This book is one condemning violence against lgbtq individuals. That's a positive value we should endorse. As the parent of two children that have been hospitalized after being beaten over these issues, I entirely endorse the use of these materials in high schools. We need things with this sort of vulgarity, because otherwise no one pays attention. It's not like we haven't been screaming about it for decades.

Why is that I know. Because people I went to school with are on the board and the fight for children’s education. The brought Jesus back into the school and they were supported by the whole town. They aren't so he's proving how inappropriate they are to their face, yet while it makes the officials squirm they rather silence him than remove clearly inappropriate material for children. The thing is, he isn't, he's just claiming he is. Think about it. He's done this in 19 schools already. How would he have access to *all* of their libraries? Even if he did, how would he just happen to know where to find an objectionable book every time? He can't be a parent of a child in every district. He can't be combing through every book in every library, even if he had access. He just shows up to the school board meetings, makes a protest, and people cheer him without thinking to check if he is making it up.
