And Trump's TMZ "grab them by the @#$&" recording isn't appropriate at a school board meeting, but it is something that should be in a schools young adult section. These are teens that will vote in just a few years. They don't need to be "protected" from information. They need access to information. "Protection" is the Republican word for brain washing. We aren't talking about kids. We are talking about young adults.

What u don't understand is this is being ORDERED by this administration.
Local school boards are responsible approving books that go into school libraries and removing books that aren't appropriate, so yes, they did it. The only way of making headway against it is for more parents to run for seats on school boards in areas where they're elected positions.

And in doing so, places them in the uncomfortable position of having to defend their support for literature that would otherwise be deemed inappropriate by the moral and rational mind.

This, of course, runs contrary to the underlying motivation of the books that are currently being questioned, of which, does attempt to normalize, glorify, and essentially promote the sexual promiscuity of children at ages previously understood to be inappropriate.

Back in college. Our literature professor who is also our Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, asked us to do a book review and handed us a list of a hundred book titles she wanted us to choose from. Looking at the list, I had my eyes on one title, "Lady Chatterley's Lover." Knowing what the book is, I asked our professor if I could do any of the book's 3 versions? And she said she'd leave that to my preference. Hearing that, I jokingly said "Even the unexpurgated edition". Then she just smiled and said to me. "As I said, it's up to you. However, I don't think you'll be able to find that version in our campus library." And yet here, they allow that kind of material in grade school. How time has changed, or should I say "INSANE"

The school system won't change! Neighbors need to come together and form small neighborhood schools. Let the stay at home mom work together to teach the kids using online platforms and create community activities so the kids are learning and get socialization with their neighbors. It will foster closer knit communities in long run. We need smaller communities in every way, local farms, small business ect. Our communities need to be self sufficient!

You fight on what they have already secured- police, security, government. If you want to stop all avenues what do you do? Look at your law- prohibiting- advertising- their description of their position on the board- You can walk in there and demand not ask for them to step down immediately and be charged for distributing pornographic material to a minor. Don't play on their field, they have all the bases covered but they are not prepared when one demands- breach of law has been broken.
