honestly. These pointless top 10s to me feel more like "lets appreciate the little things most people do not notice/take for granted in WoW and talk about it." and i love that.
The air pumper things are called bellows :) I'm now also reminded of how many huge forges there are in WoW. Blackrock Foundry is almost like one giant forge too.
The pointless 6 really rounded it out well. 14:02 Bot no, forges in WoW always are super cool and really allow the art team to do some crazy stuff because ultimately, they are pointless. They could have just a guy there that gives weapons for ingredients or something, but no. Boring. Giant fiery lava thing!
Also the Anvil associated with it is the only place where you could have forged most dark iron stuff, including the Sulfuron Hammer which was needed for Sulfuras.
My favorite is the OG Great Forge in the vanilla game's beta. I like what we got in the final game too, but the original felt way more like a massive forge.
Do something with the in-game books! Like top 10 coolest books, top 10 longest books, top 10 rarest books, top 10 most obscure books, top 10 book locations, whatever. Just seems like a cool thing in the game that hasn't really been touched too much.
I realised lately how big of a legend you are Crendor. I watched youtube for more than 10 years now and yet you are here after all the years with great content that warms your heart. Also not to mention the non content!!! You are a genius and I wish you all the best man, you are the best of all time for me, nobody is close. I am drunk while writing this but this is how I feel when sober. Fucking legend ladies and gentlemen, Crendor.
Every time I see a forge I wanna roll a Warrior or Paladin and level Blacksmithing and Mining. But I never do. Anyway, my vote for best forge is the Forge of Fate in Northrend Dalaran. I have clear memories of a DK on the server who had Shadowmourne with full Armor Penetration gems plying his trade there.
@@Pumkin932 yeah it happens to be with all sorts of classes. When I am in Night Elf zones, I can't help but want to be playing a Druid, when in zones that deal with the Elements, a Shaman. Zones like Azure Span, it's hard not to want to be on a Mage.
The Black Forge in Blackrock Depths will always be an honorable mention for me, it's a forge built into the heart of a volcano. Plus it's the only place you can smelt Dark Iron ore.
He didn't even mention it. Man, that forge should have been on the list imo, even number 1 for me. The fact is so out of the way, and that noone ever visits it anymore, it makes it a worthy contender of the top spot in this list. Also similar to the Black Forge we have now the Obsidian Forge in the Obsidian citadel in Wakin shores. Some BS items can only be crafted there. Good trowback to the black forge imo.
@@josejuanandrade4439 exactly. I still occasionally head to the black forge for guildies when they make sulfuras after getting the eye to drop from Ragnaros in molten core. I'm the only one in guild that can smelt dark iron.

Cool to see there is still so much stuff for you to cover after all this time!
I love these so much. Not just hearing about the ones you find interesting, but also seeing the variety of assets present throughout the game. A nice chance to appreciate stuff I might not have noticed otherwise! Also hearing about the lore behind specific things. Love these!! I don't know if you take suggestions... But maybe (if any of these have already been done then disregard those!) : - beds - dragons? - high quality npc models (like the characters that look really nice/detailed compared to other npcs like thrall and alexstrazsa etc.) - terrariums? (Does this one already exist?) - campsites - guards - grass textures - decorative weapons (like ones mounted on walls or placed in the world as decorations in the background, not ones players can equip) - hidden treasures
I’m about the same age of Crendor, and I’ve started appreciating little things like this in games in recent years instead of blowing past everything. I wonder if something about getting older makes us appreciate stuff more. Wisdom or…something lol
With the Blacksmith building in Orgrimmar, you can construe it as them being used to forging back in Gorgrond. I think they used the lava there as a fire source.
They did a really good job with Utgarde Keep. When Wrath launched for the very first time, people questing through HF would get to be met with the sight of that massive forge spitting flames out in every direction, as the first scene of their first dungeon in the expansion. What an amazing fucking way to introduce you to Wotlk's kickass aesthetic. Still probably one of the best intros to an expansion, just silently leaving you in awe. The borean tundra dungeon sucked compared to this tbh.
I wonder how high the IronFORGE forge will be on this list. My fav forge is the Thelsamar one in Loch Modan. Don't know why, maybe because the love for that zone ❤
Your have just an over abundance of charisma. So much so, that even if I don't care about the topic, I want to hear you talk about it because of your delivery. You are just amazingly eloquent.
Actually it's called the soul forge because Arthas misunderstood the jailer, it's supposed to be called the soul forager. The jailer tried to correct Arthas but he told him to talk to him when he's canon and kept the name.
The obliterum forge back in Legion also had a unique animation where when you would destroy stuff it would breath Fel fire out from the part that opened. It also didn’t destroy just epic but any crafted price of gear from the legion expansion. Since BFA Obliterum has no used therefore it was made a gray item that sold for 100g. Back in legion obliterum could be bought and sold on the AH.
I remember the first time I got to Ironforge and saw the Great Forge. I spent probably a good 5 minutes just staring in awe. It's still my favorite point of interest in the game.
I like the forges the Draenei use. By the look of things, they're doing all their forging is what seems like molten crystal. I like to think that's what helps give most of their things the purple aesthetic and glow. Just a melted down crystal finish.
Literally the first one that came to mind at the start of the list ended up #1, was going to be so upset if it wasn't on the list. Was not disappointed!

7:24 Blizzard clearly agreed since the Forge of Souls was used for the Shadowlands finale curscene where they retconned what it was. Which is stupid.
