- A tiger shark came in looking for a bite while I was securing a fish in my fish bag. Luckily I saw it in time to pull my feet out of the water before it had a chance to bite my foot off.

If UA-cam has taught me anything it’s to just never kayak
If it's not a shark it's an alligator or a crocodile. I did go surfing in great white shark waters and was shitting diamonds afterwards XD
@@themaharishi8160 That is gross to say!
Lol yupppp
Or to go in the ocean
🤣
Suddenly he has an epiphany , "My god, there are sharks in the ocean!"
The brain juice started flowing. That was what made him pull his legs back to his kayak. Earlier prior to the attack, the skull was empty and devoid of any brain power.
It’s called an analogy not an epiphany... my god did u ever take a science class or are you a drop out?
@@vossdaboss7566 Saxon is correct. Next time you criticize someone, make sure to research and do NOT use God’s name in vain! Grab a Thesaurus and learn before you belly ache!
@@vossdaboss7566 yeah man wtf are you talking about an epiphany is when u come to a sudden realization. An analogy is comparing one thing with another to provide an example/ explanation as to what something is. You’re wrong
@@vossdaboss7566 my man really said science class
Nice things about those kayaks is that it's really easy to just hose the poop off the seat.
lmao...good one
@John
Finally. A UA-cam comment that's actually funny/made me laugh.
You & I think the same!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
mine would be coming out the neck of my wetsuit
GIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY
Its really interesting how the shark's fin broke the surface of the water and was heading straight for him and he was totally oblivious until the last minute.
Lol
As his description explains he was focused on securing a fish into a bag. He wasn't looking out at the ocean.
@@Mandy7D7Open and shut case.
That’s why you don’t stick your legs over the side of the kayak while fishing.....but I don’t know anyone who does that 😑
Fly fish tv does it all the time of his yak. Lol
for balance while moving up and down the kayak
lol wow ace videos. Love your content especially the kona crab video, so cool. thanks for stopping by.
@Ace Videos
How do you know he wasn't tiger shark fishing and using his legs as bait/a lure?
That’s why you use a boat for fishing
Been in Maui when a kayak fisherman lost his life doing exactly what’s being done in the vid . This guy is lucky that the shark didn’t approach from behind or underneath . He never would have saw it coming .
Okay bernard
@@bernardokhrisna6616 ?
Ohhh *BERNARD*
@@lockandloadlikehell ok , I’ll bite . What does your comment mean ?
@@bernardrubble8703 there are a lot of special people on the internet. Don't bother answering them
That shark could have grabbed that leg if it wanted to. He didn't realize it was there til it was too late. Lucky him the shark didn't have a nibble.
Good way to lose a leg.
Bet he never does that again lol
🤣🤣
Remember folks this is what some people considered "fun".
I read a book, go for a morning jog, watch Netflix... these guys are like "let's go fishing on a kayak in the ocean where there might be bull sharks".
Not just his leg, but also his life after being dragged down
@@jmoa5758 I don't think it's fun to use your feet as a bait though :)
Just one more reason I will never go Kayak fishing on the Ocean.
How about gators and crocs in fresh water? They could jump all the way over a kayak if they felt the urge.
I like how calm he was pull feet in and plops back into set and continue doing what he was doing in the kayak love it
I didn't see calm, I saw a person who was startled as hell at 0:12 but kept it together as far as we know.
He just pulled out in the nick of time, a couple of more seconds and he would have been a lunch for the shark for sure. I wonder why she didn't came back.
Insane. That tiger shark was massive!
Actually that was just a juvenile, maybe about 6-7 feet? A full-grown tiger shark would easily be the same size as that kayak.
Lake+kayak=good time
Ocean+kayak= hell to the NO!
@@Balorak146 if you pause you can see its nearly the size of his kayak, which is probably a 13 footer, 10-12 ft shark probably.
@@Balorak146 more 10-12 ft, pal
@@Balorak146 we gotta expert over here
He was just letting you know “I’m the number one fisher here”
OMG!! The worst part is if you look at the top left you can see it slowly inching toward him!!!!
Gave me goosebumps 😐
No "inching up" slowly....that was a straight bee line. Shark moving faster than you or I can swim.
"The one that got away? He had a funny yellow hat and meat flavored shoes" -- T. Shark
🤣🤣🤣
And just like that; i would never fish in a kayak again.
I like how he just goes back to business as usual right away. I would have shit my pants!
This is being added to my bucket list of things to never try in my life🤣🤣🤣
Dude this guy was so chill about seeing a tiger shark! Legend.
yeah, I've seen a few of these "fishing in kyak while in the ocean"...and none of them make me wanna try it.
Shark was like "hey...whassup...catch anything yet? No? Ok I'll be back in a bit."
Hahaha, probs tryna ask if he saw which way the tuna went.
We've been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty
No way would I go out in Shark Infested waters in a Kayak that could easily be flipped by a shark.
Its not infested its where they live
@@reepbeep3774 Your right.I wouldn`t go out in a little Kayak where there were lots of Sharks=Potentially dangerous.
Yah man I don't know why the hell these people doing stuff like that you might be lucky cause the shark confuse about what is this thing so he doesn't attack or maybe he is not in the mood or whatever but if it the opposite and he just decided you are going to be his dinner nothing will save you from him
chris sparshott: and now he won’t again, either
@@reepbeep3774 just fyi almost all salt water is shark infested
Tiger shark: um yes I would like the leg quarter meal.
Tiger shark 💭 “Sweep the leg!”🦵
This comment is so underrated! 😂
Yes sensei 🐍
Shark: I said keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times!!!!
Dude was so stunned that he started looking for the keys to start the motor!
Quick reaction but the guy went back to working on what he was doing like its just another day ..
hm....let me take the smallest thing i can ride on in this massive ocean with huge sharks.
No shit!!!!!
@Hobo doesn't mean you go and risk your life. lol you won't have one to enjoy. ;)
Because some have big brave balls, and other have mincey lil balls. While you ride the bench that guy is living the life
@@daves2822 By your logic the guy that jumps out of a plane without parachute has big balls and the one with parachute has tiny ones :D
@Hobo You do realize that shark attacks are not that uncommon right? It doesn't have to kill you - it can just remove your leg....Sharks in general don't really see humans as food, cause we don't have enough fat. The problem is that sharks often need to bite to see what an object is.....and even if it lets you go after - it has already taken a part of your leg....
These people hating on these videos...why you watch it? for your entertainment....at least these guys are out there LIVING LIFE and not just keyboard warriors
I was thinking that shark jump and bites but this is not a movie😅
Shark be like: hello look at me i'm under the water
That was the ultimate Jaws scene without the loss of life and limb argh!!
The yellow colour, the shape, and the noise of the feet in the sea : only curiosity of the shark.
His reaction, I'm like what was he expecting a goat🙄😆😆
👍🤣😂
That woke him up,
Ooooooh weeeee that was a close one....that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!
Width of a Tiger Shark's head never ceases to amaze...very lucky person to live to tell this tale.
Good reaction time!!! You lose a point for not grabbing them paddles and getting the heck outta there!!! lol
Saw that dude pop up a way out before he came by you. Lucky he wasn't hungry!
Well, you’re sitting there lookin like a big ass sea turtle with your legs in the water. The Tiger said “ F*** it,” let’s take a look.
Why did it seem like he was treating that shark as if it was his dog at first 😂😂
He was like “oh hey what’s up there bud” then one millisecond later he was like oh wait sh*t that’s a shark
these fishermen are crazy. Sitting in a small kayak is already quite risky. But not enough so they keep their legs in water. Often there is still some blood from caught fish or even just dead fish sharks can smell from miles. And this guy keeps his legs in water - he's like - hey sharks, come on, grab my leg!
Made for a good video
The shark has learned to be smarter next time.
@@Datenkabel can't deny that 😂
Holy snikes! I saw that fin coming in like a jaws movie.
There are a lot of "Shark Kayak " vids out there. It's just a matter of time before they find an abandoned kayak and then play the go pro to see what happened.
I always wonder about the ones we don't see.
If it’s a nice kayak, we won’t know about it.

Shark: Haha cool bro, it was a prank.
🤣
Being in the ocean in a kayak is a terrifying thought. "We need a bigger boat"
Yum, yum yellow-colored kayak too.
Holy crap that was close.
now imagine if the shark actually wanted to kill him
Sometimes I think sharks have a sense of humor. 😏
🤣
crazy how you can see that dorsal fin coming quick
Moves his feet from underwater to a centimeter above the water LOL.
What a close call. That shark could not only have taken his leg but maybe yanked him off the kayak entirely then taken his life.
This is my second kayak of this model. It's a very nice and very well built kayak.
Damn! Literally almost lost your leg. And maybe your life if you weren't able to stay in/return to the kayak after it took your leg. Good thing you saw it in time!
Hi. I'm a producer at WGN-TV in Chicago, could we use your video with your permission? We'd credit you and your account.
ya sure go ahead. linking back to the original would be great. thanks.
Ill never forget surfing Polihale on the far west side of Kauai. Only guy out on a huge day. Finally make it out and its eerily calm. 20 feet of light celar blue water and you could easily see the sandy bottom. Just sitting there waiting for a set and i see a little black speck out of the corner of my eye. Tiger sticking its head out of the water around 15 feet away from me. It looked like the tail was close to the bottom. lol. Had to be at least 15 feet. Came right in.
lmao this dude saw his life flash before his eyes
At the start I was like.... bet he puts his feet back in the kayak
This guys lack of sense of urgency when a huge shark that could flip his kayak over is approaching him is rather disturbing
I've binged probably a hundred videos of kayak-shark encounters and I have yet to find one that points toward the fact that its a good idea to kayak in the open ocean 💀
"Sharks...Dey only bite wen u touch dey private parts" -Unko Ula
Just even dangling ur feet over the sides for even a few minutes and then not even trying to pedal away after makes me root for the shark.
That leg was looking like a snack lmao. U did the shoot ur ink and scoot back real quick
How does it feel to be the dip on a chip.
Sharks like “I’m about to give this guy the biggest spook of his life”
Watch this
Saw that coming from a mile away. Need a gopro alarm!
Daaaaamn, he came in like a wrecking ball
Amazing
whoa. love your gopro videos!!!
Oh, good heavens. I do believe I've soiled my trousers...
🤣🤣🤣
Thats gotta be one of the scariest things to experience, looking up from your tiny kayak and seeing an 8 foot shark charging at you
When im out and about I dont like not being at the top of the food chain.
I'm just still scratching my head y hes fishing in a kayak out in the ocean
I live in Kailua. If a lot of people knew how many Tigers there really are in the water there would be a lot fewer people in the water.
Tiger sharks are really aggressive and you're lucky As fk. I was stationed at U.S.M.C Airbase Kaneohe Bay, Oahu and did a lot of snorkeling off base and had to get in quick when Tigers sharks were spotted.
Any story on the species of fish he caught and had tied to his kayak? He’s lucky the Tiger didn’t grab the fish and flip the kayak.
Scariest thing about this is we can see it coming at the beginning.....he didn't until the last minute.
The way he got scared was funny to me. But i guess if it was me on the kayak, ill probably crap my pants
This Shark was just having fun dude. Wanted to play hide and seek 🥺
Wow! That's crazy!
imagine if the shark came from behind
If a shark 'bumped' into my scliff of plastic in the ocean well ,,,
I'd be taking that personally!
When I was there the same thing happened but the tiger took the man’s foot. He bled to death before his friends could get him ashore for help.
He moved back pretty fast, lol!
Didnt even scream or flip out other side. Dudes a gangster.
Crazy guy in kayak. What if it rolls it over?
Shark: Hehe, gotcha!!!! 🦈🦈
Wow!!?
Oh, my God.
A shark has passed by.
Omg !! We are here for work and we were totally thinking of going fishing in A kayak! Yikes
Why was the Tiger Shark fishing in Hawaii ?
Kinda always amazed when I see these clips of guys fishing in a Kayak out in the open ocean feet dangling in the water reeling in a wounded fish that there reaction is of shock when a shark is nearby. LIKE DUH
Tiger sharks are very aggressive, this guy is lucky it didn’t flip him over.
One of the more aggressive sharks for sure. But I wouldn’t label them as very aggressive.
Bro I could never go kayak fishing in the ocean
Anxiety level 101 holy 💩.
That's not bad! I had a 13 foot bull shark bump me when I was fishing off the sand bar scared the 💩 out of me. I'm pretty sure my x wife hired him to eat me lol
That shark was definitely going for the legs
Does anyone know why I can't find any kayak great white encounter on UA-cam?
*innocent_eyes*
He handled that so easy
I bought an old 20 foot fibreglass boat with an old 200hp Johnson for 3k, been out ocean fishing in it thousands of times, when it rains I go in the cabin, when its windy I slog it home, when big fk off sharks come up I throw them a fish and take a photo, so ahh what did your kayak cost?
Shark: Surprised😂😂😂
Guy : WTF you getting my nerve, lets get out of here😱😰😥😢
Why do people keep finding the smallest boats they possibly could find to go fishing in the ocean?
