I really like how you bring light to the recruitment power of the marketing room. I've seen people avoid firing workers because of experience but this really helps remove those "jack of all trade" employees you were forced to have and invest in specialist. After I discovered how recruitment was affected by marketing it became so much easier to manage the skill sets of my staff.
Hi Pinstar, whatever video comes after this one in your Two Point Hospital Strategy playlist is still in draft state or was made private. Not sure if that was intentional (I assume you would've removed from playlist if so), so thought you might want to know.
This video leaves me with more questions than answers. Does illness marketing increase the total amount of patients coming into your hospital or does it just change the percentage of people having a certain disease(s) coming in? Don't you want to use it if you have a few specialists (like psychiatrists or surgeons) doing nothing?
The skill-specific campaigns merely guarantee that the applicants come with the desired skill, but they could still be a student doctor with that skill as their only level. Also to note: I'm not as big of a fan of skill-specific campaigns because you *don't* get the accelerated speed of applicants that you do with the generic recruitment campaigns. It's just as slow as normal. Not worth the expense. Better to randomly roll up a promising person (who might have the skill you want anyway) who, at worst, can just get that skill in a quick round of training.
Been watching all you videos on TPH, very informative and helpful, looking forward to research room build that can earn quick cash. Also a request, maybe a video on what are the best diagnostic rooms to use and the maximum amount of buffs you can get from certain rooms using for example medicine cabinets.
I know I'm late to the party but this marketing campaign should surely be called "The Softball Special". You know, since it's an easy fix and they're all Lux-men.

I was trying to follow your Staffing guide (Staff = Rooms + 1) but was really struggling with polluted skills or untrained staff that required training. My issue was answered in the first minute of this video pretty much. I would ask though, if I AM stuck with a bunch of staff that need training what's the easiest way to go about it?

I find that using only one changing curtain is absolutely painful when doctors and nurses are switching off, but it’s extremely hard to find the space to fit a second one. Also, you sound a ton like another UA-camr, Oxhorn.
I love all these guides, tips, and tutorials! Hard to find any info for TPH. Do you have any tips for epidemics? I had a jogger's ripple epidemic and I had a really hard time spotting the infected patients.
Depending on what level you are on, you might not have some items available to research. IIRC, you can't research a clinic machine until you've had at least one patient come in with that clinical illness. As you play through more and more of the campaign, you'll see more and more options become available to your research room. That shouldn't be any different on the PS4 version vs the PC.
@@Pinstar I cant get multiple researchers in research on the ps4... no matter how many desks I put in and if I only elect research on job lists only 1 researcher will go in...if I build another room then one will go in that but cannot have multiple researchers in one room. am I doing something wrong or is this ps4 bug?
@@robthesamplist I don't know about ps4 but on switch there's a setting to adjust how many ppl can work in each room, you click on the room and adjust it in the first tab of the room info. So just putting extra desks isn't enough

I tried a fracture campaign during that first mission we get the marketing room and... NO patient showed up... :/
Great tups, it would run much smoother if you had the desk right next to the GP room and a light bulb room each side of that
